Location: Starbase 12, Admirals Office
Timeline: 1100Hrs Local Time - March 5th, 2392

Commodore Talon Yamaguchi regarded her elder sibling, after she had gone and changed into her dress uniform, she ran into Davijaan Yeager at the appointed time at her elder siblings office.

"April... I know you're busy... but would you marry us?"

April raised an eyebrow as she regarded her younger sibling before she tapped her combadge. "Yamaguchi to Ashcroft. Captain. Come to my office please... I need you to cut a marriage license for Commodore Talon Yamaguchi and her new husband."

"Copy that, on my way Admiral."

The small group waited a few minutes for the fourth person to join them. "Hello everyone." the introductions were quick.

April Yamaguchi raised an eyebrow. "Okay... I was wondering Talon when you'd get around to this... But then with you being yourself... you do tend to dive in headfirst.."

Talon regarded her sibling with a smile. "So?"

"We don't have a mast... So... stand before my desk... the two of you." April rose to her feet as she began. "Dearly believed, we are gathered here today..."

Talon turned to Yeager. "Do you take me, for your lawfully wedded wife... ?"

"I do." Yeager responded.

"Great!" Talon responded with a wry smile.

Yeager was more subtle. "Talon... Do you take me to become your husband and father of your children?"

"I do, yes."

April watched with a soft and gentle smile on her lips. "Then... I now pronounce you husband and wife... You may kiss the bride."

Talon turned as she gave her brand new husband an impish smile before the two gently kissed on the lips but it suddenly deepened quickly.

April regarded the newly married couple, a soft and gentle smile on her lips. "Ahh... Young love.." she commented. "So... Elizabeth?" April asked the JAG officer.

"The couple will have a copy of their marriage license in about two minutes.." the shorter blonde woman responded. "I love subspace communications... so much easier then old-style radio."

"Indeed," April responded. "Well... Davijaan... Please.. take your wife home and bed her.."

Yeager chuckled softly. "Are you always... so direct ... April?"

"Oh. Always... I don't believe in subtlety when I want to be direct with people... My children could tell you horror stories.." as her smile widened. "My husband and siblings... could also tell you horror stories.."

Talon sighed. "Don't encourage her.."

"Talon, darling.. you wound me," April responded in a playful tone.

"No I don't... and you know it," Talon responded with a smile as Yeager regarded April Yamaguchi. "We'll be gone for a few hours... Think we can be spared.?"

"Let me put it this way..." April Yamaguchi grinned at him. "I expect to not see either of you until tomorrow morning... and that's after you've both been to medical to see to your various.... concerns."

"April... You are just unbelievable.."

"Good," April responded. "All joking asides... Congratulations you two... you make such a lovely couple."

"Thanks, April... That means a lot coming from you." Talon responded with a gentle smile before her new husband gently took her hand, the two then departed in short order leaving April Yamaguchi and Elizabeth Ashcroft alone. "Well... I see what you mean about your family... Not very subtle are they?"

"Nope..." April Yamaguchi responded with a grin. "and I wouldn't have them any other way." she regarded the shorter woman. "Thank you for coming Elizabeth, on such short notice.."

"No worries April. I like being able to help when I can." and with that Ashcroft turned and departed, leaving April alone as she sat down behind her desk and went back to her paperwork.
