Location: Tuanko Colony - Planet surface - Tienn Homestead
Timeline: 1000Hrs Local Time - Feb 25th, 2392

Commander Tienn Ezas was walking down the same dirt trail that her sibling had come down yesterday, she had the three of her sisters with her, as Kerris and Nerra walked beside her, bringing up the rear was Iteela. Alongside came Kerris's husband, a Vulcan man named Suvek, the five of them were in uniform and the four walked slowly, taking their time and enjoying themselves.

"You think Iteela was making this story up.?" Kerris inquired.

"You cannot be serious... calling Iteela a liar like this... You disgust me." Ezas responded with an evil growl. "her telling us that mom was alive and then lie about it."

"Ladies.." Nerra responded, she was shorter then her sisters so she was taking the point, while the medic and the security officer made a ton of noise and kicked up a rather sizable cloud of dirt, the marine made no noise and was able to blend in with the surroundings. Simply put Tienn Nerra had the ability to vanish almost at will.

Ezas smiled as she regarded her smaller sibling. "So... Nerra. How are things between you and Greyscarr.?"

"We're dating... Keeping things subtle for now..." Nerra explained. "Much like you Iteela with your relationship."

"Well..." Iteela responded before she paused a moment. "I find the subtle approach works best...but thats me." she regarded her twin. "Wait... you are dating someone?"

"Oh yes... you didn't know?"

"I wasn't paying attention and... I guess that one got by me." Nerra's twin responded. "So... Who is he?"

"He's a Caitian Major in medicine... He's also the Exec of the Second battalion on the Argonne... Soo... He's not very far away... and the two of us share-"

"I do not need that mental image." Ezas responded evenly.

Nerra smiled. "Lets just say... He makes me a very happy woman.."

Even Iteela was now paying attention. "So.... details?"

"Use your imagination but... Let's just say... Its great fun... much like you two." Nerra regarded Kerris. "Your husband is a Vulcan... I can only imagine what he's like.."

"Indeed I am and the details of my relationship with Kerris... are not to be discussed here...."

Kerris smiled. "Lets just say that I find it deeply fulfilling." the taller Bajoran added. "In several ways..."

Iteela smiled. "Ezas?"

"What?." the taller Bajoran wearing teal responded evenly.

"Well?" Nerra demanded.

"Neban is Capellan... Lets just say that the size is directly proportional and yes... he makes me a happy woman... Can we please stop discussing each others sex lives?"

"Nah." Iteela responded. "I like it... Reminds me that We're all getting some." she paused. "Anyone else think its funny that none of us ended up with Bajoran men?"

The three other woman all traded looks of nonchalance and lack of concern as Kerris looked out down the road as she spotted the farmstead. "There's our destination ladies." Iteela explained.

Suvak walked beside his wife. "It is a fine day, would you not agree?"

"Indeed." Kerris responded with a smile. "This weather feels wonderful... not too cold and not too hot... just... nice!"

Nerra meanwhile was several spaces ahead of her taller siblings spotted someone approaching the gate at the end of this road just a few meters away. "Guys, we have company."

Indeed they did as an older Cardassian man stood before the gate, he then opened it slowly. "Hello everyone."

"You... look like Skrain Pettar..." Ezas commented softly. "I'm sorry." the older Bajoran woman added a moment later.

"Yes, I get that often." the Cardassian man smiled, but it wasn't the usual grating type or the syrupy smiles, it was genuine and warm. "Welcome to my home, you're expected..." as he nodded to the Vulcan. "Your service honors us." he addressed Suvek.

"You are most kind." Suvek nodded in response. "Peace and long life to you and yours." Suvek was clearly surprised at the comment directed at him, he was here mostly for moral support for his wife and her sisters, people he had come to accept as kin to him.

Ezas approached the house, she saw it as a typical settlement building with several major adaptations, when a Cardassian child who had dark skin emerged. "Oh... hello. Mom is in the main area... and she's expecting you. I am Ulani." the small girl presented herself.

"Hello, Ulani." Ezas knelt before her. "Iteela here told me of you."

"What lies does she say of me?" the pre-teen inquired with a wide smile.

"All good things... honest." Ezas grinned at her, clearly, she liked this child almost instantly.

A second Cardassian child emerged this one was much more massive. "Hanyu," he said to Ezas in fluent Bajoran before he nodded to her. "I am Corat."

"Corat. Yes, the legend himself." Kerris grinned at him. "If you ever join Starfleet, I have work for you. You would make an outstanding security officer..."

Corat blushed. "Well.. I umm.."

"You thought Iteela was going to steal your mother..." Ezas smiled warmly at him. "A fair point and one we understand quite intimately." she gestured to her twin. "We too have children of our own."

Corat smiled. "Nice... I was uh.... less then civil to Iteela last night.. What did she... umm... say about me?"

Suvak nodded. "Mister Tienn. Iteela speaks quite highly of you... Which makes you somewhat special as Iteela rarely says nice things about anyone."

Ezas nodded her head. "She said that you were looking after your mother... She bears you no ill will..."

"Oh..." Corat admitted. "I thought..." he paused as one younger Cardassian child poked her head around the corner. "Mmmm... whats going on... Mom, what are you doing wearing that!"

Ezas blinked, this was a surprise as Corat gently broke it to clearly his youngest sibling. "Thats not your mother Gilora... Thats your older sister."

"Huh?" Gilora blinked as she went a shade of deep grey. "I'm sorry.." and with that she turned and fled, back into the house. "Mom!. Mom!"

Pettar who was standing nearby, only smiled softly. "I've never seen Gilora act like that... I'm sorry."

Ezas shook her head. "No.. its okay.. I just... wasn't expecting it."

Pettar nodded. "Shall we go inside.?"

"Sure.." Nerra responded before she went into the house, at the door she slid off her boots as she went into the main sitting area. "It is true." Nerra said quietly.

Tienn Jaina was standing by the window, turned. "Yes... I... I didn't know you were still alive."

"I'll be honest... I had a million and one things I wanted to tell you mom." Nerra said quietly as the other two women walked in, Kerris first and then Ezas who had been talking to Pettar.

"I have many questions." Ezas was saying to Pettar, he nodded in acceptance of her statement. "I will try to answer them as best as I can... But.... your mother has been through a lot... I gave up everything I had for her."

"I could ask why..." Ezas said quietly.

Pettar gently pulled the cover off one of the dozen or so large barrels nearby, upon closer inspection Ezas could see that it was filled with water. "You have a mate and children of your own?"

"I do." Ezas responded. "Even considering what happened to me around my Itanu ceremony."

Pettar regarded the older Bajoran. "I take it some Cardassian wanted something you were not prepared to part with?"

Ezas regarded him before she nodded. "You... could put it like that.." she paused. "I... I had to kill him."

"You did what you had to do... the Cardassian deserved to die for what he did.." As Ezas blinked while she was astonished. "Not all Cardassians are the same Ms Tienn." the Cardassian smiled warmly at her. "Besides... Your mother gave my life purpose..."

Kerris regarded her mother. "We assumed you were dead... Iteela was the only one that never gave up hope.." she admitted.

"I thought you were all dead... I was told you were all dead."

"No mom, you were lied to..." Kerris responded as her younger sister gently gave Tienn Jaina a hug. "Its so good to see you mom.... "

Ezas entered the room as she watched her sisters interact with their mother in silence. Pettar stood next to the taller Bajoran who reminded him of his wife in so many ways. "Your mom did speak of you all... Its good to finally meet you... but I didn't know if you were alive.."

Ezas regarded him. "So... what did happen?"

"Your mother was a comfort woman... and I was a Cardassian guard assigned to patrol the Streets of Lamar town-stead." he explained. "I hated it and was due for leave... and yet... There was something about her."

Ezas had her own feelings on where this story was going as she watched him while he explained.

"So... I was young and stupid... I basically kidnapped her from the three Cardassian men who were... shall we say taking turns... I killed one of them by mistake... the three of them fought me and I was forced to flee offworld, I took her with me.." he indicated Tienn Jaina. "I've never looked back... to be honest... not since the end of the Dominion War when I came to the Federation as a refugee.. My home and family had all been obliterated in the great burning... Your mom is all I have left in this universe.."

"Thats not true." Ezas responded. "You gave her a life, a family and a home..... You also took care of her and yours, thats commendable."
Ezas smiled.

"I should have checked harder to see if you're mother had a family... She even mentioned that she had one.. but she assumed you all had been murdered but.... I never encouraged her to check..."

Ezas shook her head. "No... Almar... Don't blame yourself for the misdeeds of others.... It was a long time ago and... people have moved on since then."

Pettar nodded his head. "But even after twenty years... people think I'm Skrain." he sighed. "The idiot died at Chin'Toka and it was a Federation ship that killed him..."

Ezas regarded him in silence, her eyes brimming with compassion.

"I consider the matter with him closed... He fought for his nation and died for it. but... I am not him... I am my own man... " he turned to her. "You going to go be with your mother.?"

"I will... but let those two hog her time for now. Besides.. Iteela had her time last night and I will have mine soon."

"Something on your mind Ezas?"

"Yes... My husband wants more children... I'm considering it."

"Ahh... May I offer some perspective?" Pettar responded.

"Sure." Ezas responded with a smile.

"Don't rush it, Enjoy yourself when you do it and decide carefully... I assume you already have children?"

"I do..." Ezas smiled. "Several."

"Ahh... Then consider if its something you truly want .... for yourself... or is it for him... or is it to replace something you lost..?" Pettar responded. "Also.. Discuss it with him.... But don't refuse him outright."

"Thank you. I will consider it... Most carefully."

"Thats all one can ask of you Ezas." Pettar smiled warmly at her. "You look so much like your mother.."

Ezas blushed. "Thanks... I think."

"Oh I mean that as a compliment." Pettar responded with a smile. "Your sisters all look almost identical.... two sets of twins?"

"Yes... Nerra is Iteela's twin while Kerris and I are twins." Ezas explained. "physically we all look alike, minus the differences in height and stature."

"Fair enough.." Pettar smiled. "Besides... Its nice to know that you guys are alive and well.... More family for me to dote on and spoil rotten... But you didn't hear that... from me."

"I know nothing." Ezas chuckled softly. "A Cardassian with a sense of humor. Will wonders ever cease.."

"I'm not your average Cardassian... Which is something I pride myself about." Pettar responded, a gentle smile on his face.
