Paying Respects to the lost Crew

Mission: Mission 42: A House Divided
Location: Planet Surface - Vega
Timeline: 1000Hrs - September 16th, 2391

Ryuukei looked out at the field of pine trees where they buried the ashes of the crew. Each crewmember had been buried at the base of the tree's, with a small marker at each spot with the name of the fallen crewmember. Zuko walked over to Ryuukei, still covered in dirt from the task.

"Over 400 of our own, dead from an encounter by a damn anomaly," Ryuukei commented softly, "They didn't deserve this."

Zuko stayed silent while Teval walked over, also dirty from the task, "I hate tasks like this, just a month ago we buried over 60 of Roanoke's crewmembers, now its over 400 Akurians. I really hope we don't have to do this again any time soon."

Siaxx took in the sight before her. "It's not what they deserved... but its what they got... and if falls to us... to honor their memories and remember who they were.." she sighed.

Elizabeth stood beside her. "It was a lovely service."

"I just said a few words..." Siaxx responded.

Hyril Akarin walked up to Ryuukei and said," Well, I've had a chat with the colonists, and we have agreed to crew the Ryazar's Shield."

Ryuukei nodded," How many."

Hyril gave a small smile," Oh, just all of us. many are eager to do something other than just staying here, and trying to find our way home, well lets just say all of us are ready to go."

Ryuukei gave the curious look," So how many colonists are present here again."

Hyril shrugged," oh there are three thousand two hundred sixty-seven of us."

"Ah," Ryuukei replied lightly," Well, then the main thing we need is the hydroponics bay needs to be resupplied, but other than that, there is plenty of space, how long will it take everyone to move onboard."

"Should need no more than a day or so."

Ryuukei nodded, then turned to Siaxx and Elizabeth, "Well if you guys want to go see the sights on Vega, you have a full day for that."

"Sounds good... call us ten minutes before you want to haul anchor out of here.." Elizabeth smiled.

Ryuukei nodded, then said to Arumi as she approached, "Well Arumi, want to take a trip up to one of the resorts up north."

Teval looked at Ryuukei, "Mind if me and Hakaya come."

Yeah that's fine," Ryuukei replied as Arumi rubbed teval's ear," Well it will be nice to have you along them."

"Well then I'll help move the colonists," Zuko added. he then walked off with Hyril to help organize the effort.

Elizabeth regarded her husband. "Come on... Lets go hang out on a beach somewhere.."

"Sounds good." Kameron followed his wife down the hallway.
