The Sergeant Arrives

Mission: Mission 15: Old Ghosts
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 0800Hrs - December 6th, 2390

Captain Daisy Rohr was still upset about the incident with Private Werner.
She sat behind her desk and started to work on her platoon roster. She noticed that some of her NCOs where already aboard.

"Staff Sergeant Chalan Fal, please report to Captain Rohr's office." She spoke over the ship's intercom.

A few minutes later, Staff Sergeant Chalan Fal entered her office. "Yes Ma'am"

Daisy stood up when the Bajoran entered. "Hello Staff Sergeant Fal." Daisy stated with a cheerful voice. "I just wanted to for us to have a quick introduction. First, as you are an experienced NCO you can call me Daisy please. You've earned that. " Daisy told him.

"Ah, Ok Daisy," Chalan replied as he relaxed, quickly figuring that daisy was not one of those officers that walked around like they had a stick rammed up their ass.

"Just wanted to see if you have any concerns I should be aware of." Daisy stated.

"Not too much," He admitted, "Though private Werner does concern me and gunney sergeant Duval as well."

"Yes, I understand why." Daisy replied. "He just burned up his one free mistake. He's one a short leash now." Daisy added.

"Your an experienced NCO. I was thinking about putting him in your squad. I'm not going to do it, however, without your permission." Daisy told him.

"No I'm fine with that, I've had to deal with problem children before," Chalan replied," Im sure i can deal with this guy, but as i said, His service record reads as though he got screwed over by someone with a lot of rank. Lets face it, I don't thank the Corps would allow a real murderer back in their ranks."

"I'm thinking your correct Sergeant." Daisy agreed. "I read over his records and it doesn't make any sense, especially allowing him to return to active duty."

"I appreciate your willingness to take him on." Daisy told Chalan. "If you have any concerns with him or anything else please bring it to my attention."

"Ok, Is there anything else you want to talk to me about,"Chalan inquired.

"No, that was a big request on my part. Thank you again for your time and cooperation." Daisy told Chalan.

Chalan simply nodded and left the office.
