Mission: Mission 15: Old Ghosts
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 0800Hrs - December 6th, 2390

Lieutenant Commander Wukari Kalina was also another new arrival to the roanoke. After checking in with the captain and medical. They where an interesting bunch. Now she decided to check out the hangar deck. Wukari is a Shi'ar, a foxlike species, that has just recently joined the federation. Their species was small, cute, and Wukari didn't have a problem with that. First thing she saw upon entering the hangar deck, was a screaming pilot hanging from the lift crane mounted on the ceiling.

"Ok." she said to herself," that's different.

Wukari entered the control tower in the back of the hangar deck, where she figured that the CAG might be. Walking onto the hangar deck control room, she first saw a human woman, and two individuals at about her height, and of a species she did not recognize. like her they where furred species, that lacked clothing, and they looked like felines, but with a red panda fur pattern. The one with the shorter hair wore a commander rank badge, while the long haired one wore a lieutenant commander rank badge.

"Hi, she said to the commander," So are you the CAG."

"No, I'm the air boss," He replied, then motioning to the other two, "I'm Teval Vakar, and this is my sister, and assistant Hakaya, and this is Anastasiya."

"Hi, Im Wukari, and I'm supposed to be the 2nd Wing commander," She replied with a bit of a nervous smile.

Anastasiya looked at the new arrival," Oh , Hi so we have another cutie on board, this should be fun."

Wukari looked around," So where is the CAG anyway."

"Oh phoenix," Teval replied, thinking," yeah she probably isn't up yet, not much of a morning person there."

"Ah, O.K. Yeah i am kinda new at this job, never been a wing commander before, just got my stripes."

Teval shrugged," Yeah your not the only one, both me and my sis just got our promotions as well."

Wukari looked out at the guy hanging from the lift crane and then asked," So what did he do."

"Another idiot was trying to bully my deck crew, and I am giving him a lesson in humility," Hakaya replied in a flat voice.

"Ah, who is he."

Teval pulled up the roster," 6th squadron, 8th pilot, one of yours."

"Oh, well you guys own the deck, so i'll let you handle it, besides I have a hard time being mean," Wukari replied in a somewhat sheepish voice.

As Varkon walked in, Teval commented, "Well, if you need an enforcer, Varkon is here."

Varkon simply put his hand and said," Hi."

Wukari looked up at the big guy and said, "Oh wow, you are big."

Wukari sat down at one of the chairs and commented, "So how is this ship."

Teval rolled his eyes," Uh, the rumors are true, this is the ship of the damned."

"Ah," She replied. Wukari looked out the window at the hangar deck for a little while, as no one said anything for a few minutes. The Anastasiya mentioned," Oh, fair warning, you have a lot of newbies on the ship, and a lot of pilots with big ego's that need to be put in line."

She then looked at the crew roster for the fighter wings and said," Though at the same time, your chief warrant that will be supporting you, is Kureek-Swai. He is an Aurelian pilot and a damn good one. Though he has anger management issues, he will support you, and he is good at putting ego trip pilots in their place."

Wukari looked at the service record for the pilot and mentioned," Oh wow, you arent kidding, he is good."

Teval looked at Wukari's service record and commented," Yours is pretty good as well, how did you end up on this ship."

Wukari looked at him and shrugged" Um, I don't really know. I guess I kinda got angry at a superior officers."
