Mission:
Mission 98: Building Our New Home
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard (47)
Timeline: 2130Hrs - June 9th, 2393
Lieutenant Kameron Solusar-Yamaguchi entered the place he had called home, the place was in excellent shape, the place with neet and tidy, the floors had been cleaned and the walls were wiped down, he could smell the scent of an air freshener and of cleaning solvent. Kameron knew that his wife had stuck in a request with the starbase cleaning service to come to clean up their quarters for them. The cleaning service had obliged and now their quarters looked great.
Solusar-Yamaguchi sighed as he sat down on the sofa, he wasn't in uniform so he was grateful for that as he was wearing a pair of jeans and a simple t-shirt. Solusar-Yamaguchi sighed closed his eyes a moment as he relaxed but the moment was interrupted with a knock at the door. "Enter" Solusar-Yamaguchi sighed as he looked up at his mother who was in uniform entered his quarters.
Captain Jessica Solusar regarded her son in silence for a moment, she wore her medium brown hair up in a simple bun, coifed behind her head as her blue eyes took in the sight of her sons home, she had honestly expected it to be a dingy shitheap as she knew that her son had a child in the house and that could often lead to a messy household as she recalled from her time raising her own children. "Hello, Kam."
"Hello, mom." Kameron's happy and blissful look was replaced with a dark frown. "What'dya want?"
"Well, that was short," Solusar responded. "Aren't you at least going to be civil?"
"No, why should I?" Kameron answered. "Considering you and Dad found it convenient to blame me for what happened to James.. There is nothing I want to say to you."
"You were re-" Jessica started without thinking.
Kameron's temper suddenly fused white hit as he snarled. "Do not finish that fucking sentence!" he roared at her loudly, there was no mistaking the anger in his tone. "You dare come back into my life when I told you how I felt about you the last time I saw you. At least Dad made the attempt, you just come in here like you have a fucking right to be here and you demand to ... What? try and blame me again..?" Kameron inquired in a rather snide tone of voice.
"No.." Solusar sighed softly, this was going nowhere, which was what she had been afraid of.
"Then why the fuck are you in this room, here and now?" Kameron growled at her in a dark and menacing tone.
"I wanted to talk," Solusar responded in a quiet tone.
Kameron opened his mouth to say something when the door opened behind Solusar and Elizabeth Yamaguchi-Solusar walked in, her child in her arms. "Well, this is new," she commented. "So what am I interrupting?" the large female inquired in a rather blunt tone of voice, she knew her husband was feeling extremely angry as she could feel it over a hundred yards away.
"I am here because I'd like to talk to my son, as two adults," Solusar responded.
Solusar turned as she found herself facing a woman who was larger then she was with her grandson in her arms. "Is that?"
Yamaguchi-Solusar shifted her son to her other hip as she glanced at her husband. "Well. I think now is a bad time for it Captain. I think he needs a good nights sleep and you need some therapy about how to approach people with delicate issues. I tell ya what.. Come and see me tomorrow and I can help you with affairs of state." Yamaguchi-Solusar explained with a cheery smile.
Solusar regarded her grandson in the arms of the younger female before her. "Is that?"
"My son," Yamaguchi-Solusar answered in a quiet tone of voice. "I wish we had met professionally first because I didn't know you were assigned to the Starbase," Yamaguchi-Solusar said quietly. "Had I known, I would have met you professionally, seen to it that this issue was avoided."
"Captain, I think its time you left," Kameron said to Solusar's back.
Yamaguchi-Solusar stood there in silence, she could feel what Solusar wanted to do, it was overwhelming as Yamaguchi-Solusar shrank back ever so slightly from the older woman. "He needs to be fed and then I need to put him down for a nap. Its been a long day for us all." Yamaguchi-Solusar explained, in a quiet tone that brooked no argument.
"Yes. Okay." and with that, utterly defeated and worn down by the encounter. Solusar turned and left in silence.
Yamaguchi-Solusar watched in silence as she could feel her husbands anger, his frustrations, they were like heat and light as she had the impression she was standing too close to a large fire. "You okay?" she inquired.
"No. But I will be in about ten minutes.." Kameron answered quietly as he closed his eyes. Yamaguchi-Solusar moved away, to give him time and space to himself, not because she was afraid of him but because he needed to decompress and sort out his feelings on his own. She moved into the small bedroom that was Roberts private space, she smiled as she gently held her son in her arms. "So this is how mom felt with me when I was your age," Yamaguchi-Solusar commented softly to her son who cooed back at her. "Ma-ma," Robert answered.
"Yes, sweetie. I'm here." Yamaguchi-Solusar responded with a smile. "Don't worry about your dad, he'll be fine," she added a moment. "Now let's get you comfortable and fed." the large female explained.
Robert cooed at his mother in response.
Yamaguchi-Solusar was busy with her son that she failed to note her husband wasn't sitting in the living area, he had moved into the master bathroom, connected to the master bedroom, she went looking for him a moment later after she had emerged from her son's bedroom before she moved into the master bedroom. She smiled as she heard the shower running before she began slipping off her clothing and the large woman moved into the bathroom. "Maybe an alternative form of therapy will suffice." Elizabeth mused to herself, right before she opened the shower door. "Hey, is there space for one more?" as she grinned at him, wearing nothing but her skin.
"Of course," Kameron answered, with a smile, he gently took his wife's hand and closed the door behind her.
