Aghh! It's Blue!

Mission: Mission 13: The Space Between
Location: Various Locations - USS Shadow
Timeline: 0800Hrs - Febuary 26th, 2390

Gunny Hobbs looked over the PADD in her hands as she went over first formation. The enlisted Marines were formed and each answered as their names were called.

"Alright, who thinks they need to go on sick-call?" Brianna asked. Werner's hand went up. A grimace formed on Brianna's face. "Again Werner? I'm inclined to let you suffer, consequences to me be damned." Brianna snapped at Werner.

"No Gunny this is different." Werner told Brianna in a tortured voice.

"Really?" Brianna's demeanor changed to one of concern. "You look okay, what's wrong?"

"Uh, it's kinda personal Gunny." Werner told her.

"After I dismiss the formation see me, the rest of you have assignments. Fall out!" She shouted.

The crowd of marines dispersed except Werner and Hobbs. Werner approached Brianna and the two went into a corner. "Alright, what's wrong?" Brianna asked.

"I have blue urine." Werner told her.

Brianna stood there for a second, not quiet sure she heard what she thought she heard. "Can you say that again?" she asked him.

"I'm peeing blue." Werner said, not able to make eye contact with Brianna.

A grimace returned to Brianna's face. "I'll talk to somebody. Don't move from here." With that Brianna went back into the leadership office area. She spotted 1LT Tienn. "Excuse me Lieutenant, I have a concern with a Marine."

Tienn slid her combat knife into the large sheath on her left thigh as she smiled at the Gunny. "Sure Gunny, whats up?" she inquired with a smile.

"I have a medical issue with Werner. Can you escort him to sickbay or take over here while I get him there?" She asked the Bajoran.

Tienn went from cheerful to unimpressed, over to annoyed and lastly to downright irritated. "Werner again... Seriously.." she sighed. "I'll handle it Gunny.. you deal with the real marines and I'll deal with Mr Skin irritant." and with that she smiled.

"Oh, it's more than a skin irritant. Werner has..." Brianna stopped as she realized she was a little embarrassed at what she was saying. "He has blue urine. He really needs to go to sickbay. Thanks for handling this." Brianna told Tienn.

Tienn walked over to where Werner was standing. "Alright... lets go... and how did you get this problem?" she inquired,

"I think cause I was having sex with Lieutenant Selgae." Werner confessed.

"You.. What!" Tienn looked up at him since he was much more massive then she was. "Okay, lets go get this seen to."

"Thanks El Tee." Werner pitifully replied.

Tienn walkd beside the massive Private as the two ended up in sickbay. "Doctor?"

Yamaguchi turned as she raised an eyebrow. "Private Werner, if you are here because of your relationship with Lieutenant Selgae then we need to talk... so.. out with it, i'm not getting any younger.... why are you here?"

"Doc," Werner explained in a somewhat reserved and quiet manner, "I'm peeing blue."

Yamaguchi blinked. "Right... walk with me." she commented. "Lets go into the examination room and see what you did to earn this reward." she turned to the Bajoran. "What do you want?"

"nothing. I was walking him here." the smaller Bajoran commented. "I'm fine."

"Alright, thank you for delivering him..." she turned to Werner. "lets go big boy."

"Thanks El Tee." Werner moaned. "Please fix me Doc."

The two walked into a nearby examination room as Yamaguchi plucked her medkit off of the shelf where she had left it earlier. "Alright. lets have a look..." and with that she activated her tricorder, her eyes opened wide. "Oh crap..." she muttered softly. "Werner... you have a very serious problem." she regarded him. "Now... I have good news and bad news... The good news is I know what ails you, the bad news is... its a Caitian sexually transmitted disease and quite a potent one too... plus you are also having quite a serious allergic reaction to Caitian sweat."

"What! Oh, no way. I didn't know Caitian's could sweat. Can you fix it Doc?"

"Well I can clean one of them up right now... unless you feel like spending two days competently smacked out of your mind." she then smiled.
"I mean confined to sickbay for a week..."

"You can't knock me out. Gunny is so pissed at me she might have me castrated in my sleep." Werner bombastically stated.

"What would you have me do?" Yamaguchi inquired. "I can treat one or the other.... your new STD or your allergy." her eyes
twinkled as she looked up at him. "Choose one."

A look of anguish filled Werner's face as he took a deep sigh. "Ah, the STD Doc." he reluctantly stated.

"Very well." Yamaguchi commented evenly as she plucked her medkit from where she had left it ten minutes ago. "Lets see..."
she narrowed her eyes. "Come back tomorrow for me to treat the allergy." she commented. "Now. I won't need to knock you
out and remove vital parts of you but..." she selected a hypo as she loaded it with some medication. "You will need to take it easy
for the next few days... this will affect your sense of balance and strength... as in you'll loose a lot of strength while this works and
you will need to watch yourself but... you can still work..."

Werner stood there, looking at the ground. He gave out a slight whimper.

She plucked a PADD from the table nearby, it was blank as she began jotting down notes, clearly she was writing him a sick note.
"Just in case anyone yells at you. If anyone has questions, send them to me." she commented. "Now... Shall we proceed?" she indicated
the medication in her hand as a grin appeared on her face.
