Rachael Yamaguchi was just sitting down to dinner with her two adopted cousins and her aunt when the door beeped a second time, Rachael then smiled. "Paul, come on in!" the teenager called.

Paul entered and glanced around the place.

Celeste Yamaguchi rose to her feet. "Hello Mr Harrison."

"Paul, this is my aunt Celeste." she indicated the taller human woman who looked a little like Rachael. "That's Pasha." she indicated the Andorian Chan who wore his hair long and tied up in dreadlocks. "and the hot one is Pava." she indicated the Andorian Shen.

Pasha smiled. "Its good to meet you Paul."

Paul smiled to be polite, "Hi, um, Pasha."

"Hows it going Paul?" the Andorian Shen inquired, both her and her twin were just as large as Paul and while Pava was the same mass as Paul, Pasha was a fair bit larger despite being a year or so younger.

It's going fine." He turned to Rachael, "If this is a bad time, I can always come back later."

Rachael shook her head. "No its fine." she commented evenly. "Give us a moment guys." as she walked with Paul into the small kitchenette. "Whats up?" she asked him.

"Who are they? More family?" Paul wasn't sure how many members of her family were around.

"They are family off the USS Shadow, presently docked here for repairs. That's my aunt Celeste and her kids." Rachael explained.

"Oh. Are they staying long?" Paul wanted her to himself.

"Just for dinner." she raised an eyebrow. "Paul... what's wrong?"

"Nothing. I was just wondering. I wasn't expecting anyone to be here."

Rachael smiled at him. "I know... its okay." she remarked. "Will you be staying for dinner?" she gave him a smile.

Meanwhile Celeste looked at Pasha. "You still have all of that homework to do young man.... Pava, I know you have quantum mechanics homework to do as well..."

Both the Andorians nodded their heads. "I don't think dinner is what they are discussing." Pava commented.

"Yes.. but-"

"Mom, trust me on this... " Pava said in a knowing smile.

Celeste raised an eyebrow before she smiled, suddenly it hit her. "Right..." she rose to her feet. "Rachael... don't worry about dinner... I forgot about the paperwork I have building up and these two got a lot of homework."

Rachael raised an eyebrow as her three relatives all quickly departed, she turned back to Paul. "I didn't make them leave..." she commented evenly.
"I wouldn't do that to my family."

Paul sighed, "I know. But I think we really need to talk about the other night. Besides, I don't feel very sociable right now."

Yamaguchi raised an eyebrow as she indicated a chair with her hand. "Then... by all means, have a seat." as she went over to the replicator to get something to drink, there could only be one thing that he wanted to say to her, that their relationship was over, now that he had had her, she would mean little or nothing to him. It was all part of life's great game and she had blundered right into it.

Paul took a breath, "I'm worried that I...I might have disappointed you the other night. I wanted everything to be perfect but I don't know how you feel." He worried that he failed.

Rachael blinked, this was a surprise. "How?" she inquired. "It was something new for the two of us...." as she gently placed her hand on his shoulder. "You were gentle and you didn't hurt me... Which was all I wanted..." she then smiled at him. "I was expecting you to want to break up with me.... I'm glad I was wrong."

Paul's demeanor changed for the good, "Rachael, I love you too much. It's just that we didn't talk much afterwards and so I thought..." He sighed, "Nevermind. It isn't important. I'm glad that we are okay."

Rachael looked up at him. "We didn't talk much because we were both tired and it was.... enjoyable." she commented. "Are you doing anything tonight?" she then gave him an impish smile.

Paul grinned, "Yep. I have a date with my favorite girl. Is 2030 hours good for you?"

Rachael smiled. "Yep. sounds good." she smiled impishly up at him.
