Dazed and Confused

Mission: Mission 13: The Space Between
Location: Various Locations - USS Shadow
Timeline: 1000Hrs - February 25th, 2389

"Stupid Brianna!" Daisy thought to herself. "She doesn't know what shes talking about. I feel nothing for Orthos." Daisy tried to convince herself.

She decided to go see Orthos. As she left Marine Country she moved along the hallways. She was a little startled when she saw Orthos fixing a door. He hadn't noticed her so Daisy stood there for a moment studying him. As Orthos was putting away his tools he noticed Daisy.

McKnight found himself looking at the Klingon Major. "Ahh Major.. Can I do for you?" he inquired. "Someone said a couple of marines had damaged this door and I was repairing it." he explained what he was doing there at the time.

Daisy started to twirl her hair. "Uh, I was thinking dinner on the promenade sounds good. Want to go before we leave Star Base?" Daisy clumsily asked.

McKnight raised an eyebrow. "I'd love to." he surprised himself by saying it. "When?"

"Oh, um, how about when you get off duty?" Daisy told Orthos, a little excited.

"I'm off in thirty minutes or so." McKnight commented. "So.. when is dinner?"

"In about half an hour. I'll meet you at Crum's on the promenade. Since I invited you
I'll buy." Daisy smiled.

"Alright." McKnight smiled at her. "I will see you there."

Daisy let out an unexpected giggle. She looked a looked at Orthos a little embarrassed.
Daisy gave an awkward smile. She turned around straight into a wall. She then faced
the floor and made a fast exit.

McKnight watched her, a soft smile on his face but otherwise he said nothing.
