Mission: Mission 98: Building Our New Home
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard / USS Incheon
Timeline: 1000Hrs - October 20th, 2393

Commander Ralph Kerr smiled as he watched the USS Incheon emerge from warp in the vicinity of the Starbase, the starlines faded as the planet appeared and quickly morphed from a single blue dot to a sphere that would take up more than five times the size of the viewscreen as the massive starbase appeared and got larger by the second. "Lieutenant Nelis, contact the Starbase. Let them know that we have their personnel and equipment for transfer." he smiled at the young woman who was seated on the far right side of the bridge.

Melis nodded her head, her long blonde tresses moving and flowing as she did so. "Aye Captain." as she went to work. While Kerr turned his head to regard the tall Betazoid female to his left. Nearby was Captain Oberon Donos leaning against a wall in silence. "Well Captains, here is where we say goodbye," Kerr commented.

Captain Holly Gilo gently smiled as she regarded the large human male to her right. "Thank you for letting me sit here and enjoy the ride," she commented as she slowly and with an effortless grace that spoke of either a gymnast, dancer or martial artist, she stood up with an ease of motion, almost as if unencumbered by gravity itself. Donos stood up. "Likewise Captain, thanks for the ride," Donos commented with a nod of his head.

"Permission to disembark Captian?." Gillo inquired for herself and Donos. It was traditional for her to ask, even though she outranked Kerr but he was master and commander of the ship that she was travelling on. "Permission Grated Captains, smooth sailing and steady seas."

"Thank you, Captain." With that, she gently picked up her duffel and departed the bridge. Donos followed in silence. Her next stop was the transporter room, which she reached a minute or so after leaving the bridge. She nodded to the transporter chief. "Two to beam over to the Starbase please Chief.?" Gillo inquired, a gentle smile on her lips. Donos stepped up onto the transporter pad behind her.

"Right away ma'am." he nodded. "Energizing." and with that, he beamed her over to the Starbase.

Captain Holly Gillo regarded the officer before her. "Permission to come aboard sir?" she inquired of the small limbed, pregnant Bolian female before her, she handed the Bolian in question the PADD which Gillo held in her hands. Oberon Donos regarded the small framed Bolian female in silence.

"Granted Captains, welcome aboard." Siaxx Dvald-Vaxx answered as she accepted the PADD. "Ahhh, you're the new skipper for the Enin-Sd." as Donos turned over his PADD at the same time. "Welcome Captain Donos to Starbase Vanguard. Admiral Lasky has been waiting for a good while for the two of you," she commented. "I'm Fleet Captain Siaxx Dvald-Vaxx, the Starbase Exec and I'm your welcoming committee." as she handed the two large proper before her back their PADD's.

Gillo grinned as she accepted back the PADD. "If my mother ever found out that I had a pregnant woman waiting on me, she'd disown me," she commented. "Thank you for the welcome ma'am. How is the little one coming along?" she inquired with a gentle smile.

Donos accepted his PADD. He knew what would happen had his spouse found out he had a heavily pregnant woman waiting on him. "My wife would skip divorce and go right to murdering me," he commented, with a gentle smile.

"She's coming along very nicely. After a few issues that were cleared up not that long ago." Dvald-Vaxx answered with a smile. "I'm stuck on light duty and this means I reign in everything... It's frustrating because I like walking to my various meetings, now I'm almost stuck with calling for a site to site. transport." she explained with a soft sigh. "What about you.?" Dvald-Vaxx inquired.

"No husband or children, though that might change, now that I can settle down..." Gillo explained with a gentle smile.

"Nice. This one will be my last." Dvald-Vaxx answered with a soft smile. "I have several already and its a handful looking after them all," she commented with a gentle smile. "I'll show you around but would you object if I asked to hand you off to someone else for the tour?"

"Not at all Siaxx... I can't expect you to walk a dozen kilometres." Gillo explained. "That would be unethical of me."

"Likewise, the same for me as well," Donos answered with a nod. "I wouldn't ask my wife to do it when she was pregnant with our children. Thus it will be with you too."

Dvald-Vaxx smiled warmly up at the taller officers before her. "I'll ask my yeoman to handle it, she needs to get out of the office

"Sounds good. I look forward to it." Gillo answered. Donos nodded in response.

"Very well. Chief Malia Rojas will contact you both in about an hour or so, this will give you time to settle in and the like."

"Nice," Gillo answered. "We should find my new home then."

Donos smiled. "Sounds good to me," he commented.

"Alright, quartermasters office is this way." and with that, the small Bolian turned and began walking down the hallway. Gillo and Donos following, the three walked in silence as they entered a turbolift. "Quartermasters office," Dvald-Vaxx said with a gentle smile on her lips. Gillo and Dons both held their silence as their destination was the same. The turbolift hurtled to its destination, the doors opened again after a minute or so. Dvald-Vaxx exited first. Gillo and Donos both followed in silence, as the to entered the quartermaster's office.

"Can I assist you?" a young human male inquired.

"I'm looking for my new home," Donos commented as he handed over his PADD. "Ahh... Let me see..." he commented. "Your spouse is already living here. I assume you wish to move in with her?" he inquired with a knowing smile.

"Yes. I do." Donos finaly smiled.

"Fair enough." as he handed Donos a PADD in addition to his own PADD. "This is your new address in addition to a door lock."

"Thank you," he commented with a nod of his head. He turned to the small Bolian. "Captain. I'm going to go and settle in before your yeoman calls upon me."

"Of course Captain. Welcome to the Starbase." Dvald-Vaxx commented.

Donos turned and departed, his business here was now concluded.

'I'm looking for my new quarters." as she handed her PADD to the officer who had addressed her. "Mmm... Ahh, Captain Gillo, welcome aboard ma'am, we were told to expect you," he commented. "Melody?" the man asked his companion who looked Vulcanoid with human highlights, she presented him with a PADD. "All decked out and ready to go."

"Thanks." he turned back to Gillo. "You'll be billeted on level sixty, under the armoured citadel of the Starbase," he explained evenly as he handed her the second PADD in addition to her own PADD. "Again, welcome aboard ma'am."

"Thanks." as she turned to the small Bolian standing before her., "If it's all the same to you, I'll go and settle in before your yeoman comes to see me, alright?"

"Of course," Dvald-Vaxx commented with a gentle smile as the two departed the quartermaster's office, one of them going left and the other going right.
