| General Overview | A warm person and easy to talk to. Holly has tendencies to be overly concerned with others. However, sometimes she has been accused of being a workaholic and an isolationist as she tends to work by herself. Occasionally she will work with others and take on leadership roles but not without being asked first. She’s friendly, kind and caring to those around her and loyal to her friends. Her telepathic abilities make her empathetic towards those around her. |

| Personal History | Born into a loving home on Betazed she was encouraged at a young age to explore. Her parents were Starfleet officers and representatives to Betazoid to the Federation. Their work led her to travel with them often off of the home world, so she really wasn’t raised there. More or less she was raised in space under the guidance of those around her parents that carried enough about them to care for her in their absence. With the exposure to interesting looking people and races that early on in life she found herself drawn to doing artwork. Thinking that was her calling the entire time she was homeschooled, she focused more on that than anything else. Which lead her to read and to write as well and her instructors noticed that she loved to do all that with her hands so encouraged her to focus on it but not without learning the rest as well. They soon found her loving math as well as exploring new races through how they write. By the time she was ready to peruse her own educational interests, she was fluent in two languages and was just learning a third. In her mind, she was ready to be an artist so she enrolled in a civilian school for architects. She was able to use her language skills and able to do things with her hands but she wasn’t satisfied, so after a year she enrolled in Starfleet, in 2368 she left Betazed and ent to Earth to pursue her dream of joining Starfleet. Gillo gave up her tenure at the architectural school, that she had been studying at. It is there that she found her love of the sciences and started to study there. She was able to use all her skills including exploration of the world around her. That is when she knew she was in the field that she was supposed to be in. While in Starfleet academy she grew more and more beginning to show promises as an officer she was offered unique experiences in going on cadet cruses as a technical adviser. She was asked several times what ship she was going to go on when she was graduated but never said only saying “I’ll go where I am called.” That gave her instructors indication as to what kind of an officer she was going to be. When she graduated, she did just that and she went where she was called. |
