Mission:
Mission 104: Saturn's Children
Location: Various Locations - USS Kronprinz
Timeline: 0900Hrs - September 7th, 2393
The space in the vicinity of Korvat Colony flickered and began to twist before a massive ship emerged from warp, popping up right where she was supposed to as one of Korvat Four's six warp-in points. The USS Kronmprinz slowly moved forward as she began to enter a standard orbit for a vessel of her size and mass would permit her. On her bridge, all was the picture of precision and perfection as the Conn officer. Chaen Haleth turned. "Captain, now entering standard orbit."
"Very good Chaen," Yamaguchi-Antilles responded evenly. "Nice driving," she added as she rose to her feet, the Cardassian female sitting at her right side likewise rose to her feet too. "Number one, I'm going to go planetside to tend to the matter we discussed, until I return, the ship is yours."
"Aye Skipper." Aloer smiled as she nodded her head. "We'll still be here when you return," she added.
"I've no doubt of it, also alert the Colonel that we've arrived please and thanks. He's expecting your call. I'll wait for him in Transporter room four." Yamaguchi-Antilles commented before she moved off of the bridge and into a turbolift a moment later. "Transporter room four," she said simply. The lift started moving.
Meanwhile on the bridge. Commander T'Les turned her head. "I did not think Korvat Colony was on the list of destinations." the Vulcan woman rumbled. "I find it odd that we are here."
"Perhaps the skipper has her reasons for being here." Lamar Banks commented. "If she wants to tell us why then she will. Till then, don't dwell on the matter T'Les," he commented with a smile. "Don't waste energy on what you can't control," he added.
"Mhmm... Most logical." the Vulcan nodded her head. "I will remember that," T'Les explained evenly.
Attavan added to the chat. "The Captain has her reasons for coming here. I do not believe it is a good idea to discuss them without her present," he commented evenly. Haleth raised an eyebrow. "It does add to the shakedown cruise, as Korvat is further away from the mission plan. In any event, the skipper is the skipper and discussing her motives is not something I want to be done lightly... Does she intend us harm?"
"No. The Captain is here over a matter of family. Something I know all too well, she made me aware of the issue several days ago and we are here because I believe it's our duty to support her with this endeavour." Aloer spoke, silencing the debate presently raging across the bridge. "Captain Yamaguchi-Antilles did not inform us as she did not feel we needed to be burdened with her problem." the Cardassian female explained evenly.
Meanwhile, Coral Yamaguchi-Antilles was standing in transporter room four, she looked down as she gave her uniform the once over, she noted the camo-pattern which was something new to her as she was still adjusting to the new look when suddenly the doors opened and in walked Lee Antilles. "You ready?" he asked of his spouse.
Antilles-Yamaguchi nodded her head. "I am." as she held a PADD in her hands. "Shall we?"
"Yeah." and with that, the two of them stepped up onto the transporter pad. "Transport us to the surface near the large childcare facility please Chief?"
"Willdo. I'll set you down just across the street, there shouldn't be a soul in sight." the man nodded as he activated the system, the two officers were transported down to the planet, a moment later as two columns of energy appeared as they appeared. Antilles-Yamaguchi stood for a moment beside her husband, before the facility in question. "Shall we?"
"Let's do this," Antilles answered.
