Commodore Celeste Yamaguchi-Hobbs sighed softly. She was sitting behind her desk as she lifted the large mug of soup but she seemed to have no appetite to consume her meal. The idea of sharing a working meal with her Executive officer had been good in theory but seemed to be lacking something in the execution.

Seated across from her was Fleet Captain Siaxx Dvald-Vaxx, a small framed Bolian female as she sat in the chair across from Yamaguchi-Hobbs, she wore a rather wide grin on her lips. "Not hungry Celeste... Was he that bad in bed?" the Bolian couldn't resist the temptation to toss the comment at her boss, seated across from her. "I mean Chen is diverting and he makes me a happy woman most days and nights... How was he?... Rob I mean..."

"Huh?" Yamaguchi-Hobbs answered quietly. "Wait. What?" she added, sounding completely lost and confused.

"Oh, so you did have sex with Rob Connor then..." Dvald-Vaxx answered with a grin. "Was he good?" she repeated her earlier question, noting that Yamaguchi-Hobbs had not answered her earlier question.

"He was amazing, he taught me a few things which I intend to use on Brianna. I'll have her whimpering for mercy before the night is out." Yamaguchi-Hobbs answered evenly but she didn't sound convincing.

Dvald-Vaxx regarded the larger female before her. "So, you wanna tell me what's bothering you then?" the small Bolian female inquired of the larger female before her, while she shifted her ass in the chair, ever so slightly, mostly to prevent her legs from falling asleep.

"I dunno Siaxx... I thought my time with him ended twenty-four years ago, it been a quarter of a century and yet, having that sex with him, brought back something I thought long dead, I still carry a torch for the man..." Yamaguchi-Hobbs admitted.

"One doesn't need a masters in psychology to recognize depression, it doesn't take a Ph.D. in history to know what regret looks like, either way, that means Rob Connor is on your mind... and judging by the look in your eye, you and Brianna had choice words on the subject of you and Rob having sex." The Bolian answered in one smooth motion. "This will go a lot easier if we just leapfrog through all the denials and accusations and skip right to the heart of the matter." the small Bolian added a moment later.

"Just between us?" Yamaguchi-Hobbs answered.

"You have my word," Dvald-Vaxx answered a moment later. Dvald-Vaxx was many things but she knew the importance of giving and keeping one's word, it was something she had impressed upon all of her children and it also was what had caused her to end up needing some surgery a few years earlier to repair the damage that her now ex-wife had inflicted upon her face with her prosthetic fist. Dvald-Vaxx had come within inches of death that day and it was only her faith in herself and her trust in her husband that he allowed her to take pleasure in his touch, but it was what had doomed her relationship with Phoenix. It was something that Dvald-Vaxx sure didn't like to think about, the feeling of pain, of terror.

"I didn't plan to have sex... I didn't plan to do anything other then share a meal, he was being reassigned to the Scorpius Great Wall..." Yamaguchi-Hobbs explained lightly.

"That's a very long way from here Celeste... Could that be why you bedded him... Because he would not cause you problems later on.?" Dvald-Vaxx inquired gently. "There is nothing wrong with casual sex, gods know that I have done it in the past, hell I had a child from random sex, my youngest... Well before this little one comes into the world anyway." the Bolian explained evenly.

Yamaguchi-Hobbs sighed. "I honestly didn't see it coming, we had lunch then got into an argument and then next thing I know, I'm fucking him senseless on the living room floor." she sighed as she winced. "It was different, I am not used to that kind of sex anymore. I mean, I liked being single and being able to have sex with anyone I wished, whenever I wished, well within reason of course."

Dvald-Vaxx held her silence as she listened to the other woman speak, she gently nodded her head. "I'm Bolian, we have that level of sexual interaction with random people, especially when we're single. Even with my husband, I am free to see others and my husband is also likewise to do the same. I wish that humans could do the same... and not suffer the old school social stigma's for it." Dvald-Vaxx sighed softly. "But hey, different strokes for different folks right?..."

Yamaguchi-Hobbs regarded the small pregnant Bolian with a look of curiosity. "Siaxx, not everyone is alike, not all share your cavalier attitude towards sex."

"Your right but then I don't exactly get a lot of time for sex since I have a small army of children. I have seven children and of those, three are less than two years old and two of them are not born yet, so I won't be having any sex for a long time either." she paused. "As for Rob, don't worry about what was said, if he's still willing to talk to you after what was said.. and done, then you have little to fear... and if not then you might want to consider other options... personally, I think you got nothing to worry about though."

"Why do you say that?" Yamaguchi-Hobbs raised an eyebrow as she waited for her answer from the Bolian across from her.

"Because I've read about Rob Connor, he's many things and being an asshole for many reasons is not among them. Don't worry about it... Worry about what's important is your son and Brianna." Dvald-Vaxx commented. "They are more important than a bout of mindless angry sex on the living room floor of his home on a ship that will soon be a long way from here Celeste. Do not worry so much about the things that are meaningless to you now, worry about what's important." as she smiled at the other woman.
