Timeline: 1220Hrs - August 6th, 2393

"She's not unreasonable, she trains her marines hard but she's fair and reasonable. She's more than just spit and polish..." Jasmine answered her father's statement with her own, she slowly rose to her feet. "I'd best get going..." she lifted her empty plates and glassware, she took them over to the replicator before she recycled her dishware. "I'll seeya later guys."

Connor rose to his feet, he came over and hugged his daughter as he knew the two would not see each other again for a long time. "Take care of yourself, Jasmine," he commented.

"I will, you do the same dad," Jasmine answered before she took her leave in silence.

Yamaguchi-Hobbs watched father and daughter interact, she knew Jasmine wanted to leave, whats more she knew why Jasmine wanted to leave. "So. What now?" she inquired in a gentle tone of voice.

Connor shifted his attention over to Yamaguchi-Hobbs. "Now, we finish our meal together. I got the afternoon off but I doubt you have the time off," he commented. "Which, really is a pity," he added before he huffed a gentle sigh at her.

"I can't do that to my guys on such short notice," Yamaguchi-Hobbs answered quietly. "I have a little time, however," she added with a small smile. "Commanding a Starbase does have its privileges. I try to not abuse them," she explained in an even tone of voice.

Connor regarded her with a silent look. "Then maybe you can answer me a question..." he inquired of her. "Where did Jasmine come from?"

"What?" Yamaguchi-Hobbs answered lightly. "Jasmine is a mystery to me too, I don't know where she came from as I didn't give birth to her."

"I had assumed that you had, then you gave her up for adoption as your mom had taken her in after you gave her up," Connor answered evenly. "Your mom was the one who looked for me and found me quite easily ... Which is ironic considering you never once looked for me." as he regarded her, an annoyed look suddenly coming over his face.

Yamaguchi-Hobbs was getting irritated alongside him. "I miscarried and I never carried any child to term, save Jackson," she answered evenly while she frowned. "Or did you think I lied about that.?" as she goaded him.

"You didn't take into account that I might have wanted to be a part of your life, the three of us... you, me and her, together as a family..."
