Mission: Mission 103: The Rumblings of Discontent
Location: Various Locations - USS Solemn Penance
Timeline: 0915Hrs - August 26th, 2393

Several of the Marines were moving down the hallway, they were armed with their equipment and had rifles in their arms, it also didn't help that many of them were also disoriented and confused with recent events. "Let's go see what the Captain of the ship wants..." one of the privates in the marine unit assembled commented.

"We'll find out soon enough." Corporal Sarah Malson responded. "'Till then, stop worrying about it," she commented as they filed into the hanger where Skherli was expected to address the entire crew shortly. None of them had any idea of what was to come as Warlock narrowed his eyes, as he moved along the Jefferies tube, he reached the location where he could overlook the massive hanger bay, there were four sets of controls and he had a feeling he would need to work quickly.

Warlock pulled open the cover and dropped into the empty room from eight feet up, landing silently as he smiled, he quickly moved over to the main consoles and went to work, while he did so, the door opened and a saurian looking officer emerged from the shadows. "Who is there?" Lieutenant Stozg inquired in a soft tone. "A friend." Warlock answered evenly.

"Warlock. I heard you were leading a rebellion against rhyme and reason." the Saurian commented lightly. "Why are you here?"

"I am here to lock down the hanger, so nobody can disable the hanger forcefields or open the hanger doors. I have a feeling that Skherli is going to try and get rid of the crew, it would be his best move..." the Klingon explained evenly. "Will you assist me?"

The Saurian nodded evenly. "Your theory is sound, I will assist you." as he let out a soft sigh. "We need to shut down the other three rooms, I will see to that, you shut down the power to the doors and lock out the forcefield controls."

Warlock nodded. "Depend on it." as the Saurian turned and slipped out, as quietly as he had come as by now several hundred of the crew had already assembled in sections, waiting for Skherli to come and address them.

Lieutenant Stozg was one of the few members of the crew that were more loyal to the ship, rather than the Captain and with all of the confusion, nobody seemed to question what was going on as he descended a ladder and moved across the massive hanger and went to the far port side control station, his goal was to disable it, he reached his destination a moment later. He entered the room he wished to see and began his work.

What Stozog didn't know was that he had been tailed and was now cornered. "Drop it Saurian or I drop you." Petty Officer 3rd Class Tasha Wise smiled. She wore the uniform rank insignia of a Lt Commander whereas Stozog recalled that she was only a petty officer second class. "That's right..." as she watched him raise his hands in the human fashion of surrender. "Stupid aliens... Did you really think I didn't anticipate your move here... Traitor.." she spat at him.

"Oh, I think you misunderstand me... I meant you no harm, but he never said the same." Stozog slowly smiled, a sign that he felt this battle was won.

"Wha-" was the last sound she got out as Warlock wrapped his hands around her neck and strangled her, she tried to fight him off as he proceeded to throttle her, her eyes filled with blood as she gurgled out her last breathe before Warlock snapped her neck, before he dropped her body to the deck.

Stozog nodded to Warlock. "How did you do?"

"I found this... Itys designed up upload a computer virus into the hanger computer system, I disabled it so it can't transmit but it can receive signals."
Warlock smiled. As they spoke there was a sudden beeping sound. "Its trying top upload itself... It'll do no good as the forcefield controls are disabled, as are the doors. Nobody is getting them open again, short of about two days worth of repair work." Warlock smiled. "How's your public speaking.?"

"Oh no, I'll let you address the crowd... You got the rank... I'll cover you for it." as the two men quickly put their plan into action. Both men emerged a moment later as they found almost six hundred souls waiting patiently. Warlock quickly strode over to the podium as there was no sign of Skherli. "Crew of the Solemn Penance. You know not why you stand before me, Skherli tried to murder you all." as he held up a tricorder. "My proof, you were all to be herded in here and then to be spaced. He never planned to address you all... Its time to retake this ship..."

Several dozen of the marines all turned and moved out of the hanger bay when the doors suddenly proceeded to close and lock. Warlock paused. "Into the support craft, NOW!" he roared at the top of his lungs, the crew all scattered as they made their way towards the parked Starfighters, Runabouts and shuttles.

Within what seemed like moments of insanity, the hanger had been cleared of all personnel, as they had all taken refuge in the USS Solemn Pennances support craft.

Meanwhile nearby there was a major phaser fight as the twenty marines were jumped by four of Skherli's remaining mutineers, as they proceeded to gun down half the marines, the rest proceeded to wipe each other out over ten minutes of fierce phaser fire with the last of the marines sighed softly as he began cleaning up the mess of his downed comrades and the four stunned traitors, as he began calling for remote beam outs to sickbay.
