Mission: Mission 102: Sic Transit Tienn
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 1600Hrs - August 14th, 2393

Commander Tienn Iteela smiled as she watched the doors to the staff entrance to the Vanguard hospital part at her approach. It was good to be home and while she felt rested, she felt tired at the same time. The day shift of personnel was just departing as they were going off of watch. Lt Commander Elizabeth Solusar-Yamaguchi would be among them. As if on command, the tall woman came around the corner. "Doctor, your back..." Yamaguchi-Solusar commented evenly, as she smiled down at the shorter woman.

"Hello, Doctor Yamaguchi-Solusar. I trust you are well?" Iteela inquired, while she smiled at the taller woman before her.

"I'm tired. Its been a rather long day and you'll be dealing with the after-effects of it." the tall woman explained. "There was a radiation leak on a freighter that was delivering supplies to us. The USS Benton will be in the dockyards as they give the old girl the once over to find out exactly what went wrong, but in the meantime, we have two hundred cases of radiation poisoning to deal with. Mostly, you'll be dealing with the cleanup from that." Yamaguchi-Solusart explained.

"Thank you for the information," Iteela answered evenly.

"Did you umm... get everything you wanted to sort out on your leave addressed?" the tall female inquired.

Iteela nodded her head. "I did. Yes... My attainder was expunged from my file, it does not exist and nor did it ever exist."

"That's great news..." Yamaguchi-Solusar responded evenly, except she didn't quite think the other woman believed it. "You don't think so?"

"I am uncertain," Iteela admitted. "Considering who I am addressing at present." as she gave Yamaguchi-Solusar a rather pointed look.

"Yes, we do have our issues and concerns." Yamaguchi-Solusar agreed, she knew exactly what the other woman was speaking about. "I have my issues with you." she paused. "But that doesn't mean we can't work together when needed."

"I understand," Tienn answered flatly. "How is your pregnancy progressing?" as Tienn's gave shifted from Elizabeth's face down her body to her abdomen. "Things are well, yes?"

"As well as I can expect," Yamaguchi-Solusar answered in a quiet tone of voice. "The psionic episode early last month was rather painful for me."

"Yes. For me, I had been restored to the person I was eighteen months ago before the secret service incident." Iteela answered. "I was married, happy with a child on the way... Now I feel incomplete and uncertain."

"I understand," Yamaguchi-Solusar answered evenly. "For me, it was spending time as a ghost, watching the life of my son as he went from being a child to older then I did... and then he shared his memories with me. All his trials and tribulations. Its been a challenge to deal with it all at times." she admitted.

Tienn nodded her head. "I can well imagine. Still. You should head on home and I need to report for duty, lest Lt Commander Fordring comes to track me down." she commented, when the door opened and as if on command, the massive Vrykul female appeared. "Ladies." she addressed both Yamaguchi-Solusar and Tienn Iteela. "Tienn, your back..." Fordring smiled. "Did you get things sorted out on your leave?"

"I did. My brother is doing a very convincing impression of a Founder. It's been quite an experience." Tienn answered with a nod of her head.

Fordring's smile vanished. "That's.. not what I was expecting you to say to me," she admitted.

Yamaguchi-Solusar blinked. "Tienn, do you want me to book you in for a couple of sessions?" she inquired.

"I would but it's best if I see another counselor. You and I still have our issues and we should address them separately before you should be placed in that situation. Conflict of interest and whatnot." Tienn explained in her usual flat monotone.

"Alright. I'll ask Commander T'Ree to handle matters with you, she knows your mind as well as you do, if not better then you do." the tall female commented, she also knew what Tienn was saying and it wasn't to insult her, though most would have taken the comment and statement as such. "I should get going. Kam and I have dinner planned tonight and." as the younger woman slowly smiled. "What?. Being married is great at times. I get waited on hand and foot, and sometimes everything in between."

Fording nodded her head. "Oh, I know that married life can be bliss, it's also a lot of work. I have two young children in the house and you got one with one on the way, Beth." as she suddenly grinned. "Being waited on hand and foot, and everything in between is fun. Especially when Tirion is in the mood, he's not subtle that one." as her smile widened into a grin.

"Gyce and I are still adjusting to married life," Tienn answered. "She's rather subtle at times. Even if she does have her medical issues and problems." the Bajoran explained.

"Well before I head out, Tienn. Let's go into the office so I can brief you on what's happening." as Fordring nodded to Yamaguchi-Solusar who turned and departed in silence. Tienn fallowed the larger Vrykul female into the main Doctors office. "Alright Doctor, the situation is mostly going to consist of the usual evening-related maladies, but you'll have some two hundred cases of radiation poisoning, most of them are in recovery and are being monitored with the various EMH's but I got two cases I have concerns with. It's Delta radiation. So you can understand my concerns here." the large female explained evenly.

Tienn nodded. "Your concerns are warranted. I will look after the matters at hand." she nodded her head gently. "Thank you for making me aware of the issues at hand."

Fordring handed Tienn two PADD's. "These are the files of the two personnel I am worried about. I can leave things with you?"

"Yes. Consider your concerns addressed. I will handle matters." Tienn then smiled. "Its good to be home."

"Its good to have you back." Fordring smiled before she took her leave. Tienn smiled as she went to work.
