Mission: Mission 112: The Heart of a Truth Long Lost
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 0800Hrs - January 22nd, 2394

Savannah Yamaguchi's eyes flickered open, she was so used to getting up out of bed at a certain time. Even on her days off. She was more or less a slave to the system. She groaned softly as she slowly slipped out of bed as she stood up on her feet. She looked over at her husband who was also waking up. He was just sitting up as Savannah went into the bathroom.

Savv peeled off her nightdress and her panties, now she was nude. She looked down at her still flat abdomen as she knew that her child was slowly growing within her. She had been pregnant before several times so what she was doing was nothing new. She had been here before.

Gabe approached his spouse. "Savv. You okay, honey?" he asked of her.

Savv breathed in as she blinked, bringing herself back to the center of the bathroom. "Sorry. I was just lost in thought," she admitted.

Gabe gently hugged his wife from behind, being careful not to touch anything intimate. "Oh. I'm sorry honey," he admitted. "Do you feel up to sharing a shower or do you want one alone?"

Savv knew that her husband would not object either way. He was never lusting after her, and he respected her space. She knew most others would get angry or offended. Gabe would usually smile, kiss her and tell her to enjoy herself. He almost never got offended if she wanted her space. "No. Join me for this one, please. I want you to hold me while we get wet together." she commented. "I had thoughts and contemplations I was thinking about. Do you mind if we discuss them while we shower?"

"Of course not." Gabe smiled at his spouse. If she wished for sex then he would simply oblige her, as they so often did in the mornings. "I'll wash your back for you," he added.

"Sounds good to me." Savv then turned on the shower. She then opened the door and stepped into the shower. Gabe followed a moment later, before closing the door behind him.

Gabe knew what his wife wanted. She wanted a little tender loving care but she was not interested in a full sexual encounter. He smiled as he went about tending to affairs of state.

Thirty minutes later. The two were stepping out of the shower as he led the way. She wanted a moment alone under the hot water. She smiled as she looked down over her front and flat abdomen.

"Savv?" Gabe inquired in a gentle tone of voice. He looked at her, with a concerned look on his face.

Savannah smiled as she turned off the water. She then stepped out of the shower as Gabe handed her a towel. She wrapped it around herself before she went into the bedroom to dry off. The two were dried and fully clothed within ten minutes.

The holonanny had been looking after the children as Gideon was tending to his two younger siblings. Gabe went to see to the children while Savv went over to the kitchen table. Gabe was far better with the kids than she was, so she opted instead to let him get on with it. Rather than fight with him about it.

She began preparing breakfast for the kids before they would go off to daycare. Gideon was heading off to kindergarten. Grade one. By all accounts, he was doing well with his schooling.

Gabe returned after ten minutes or so. "Come on you three. It's time to eat and then off to daycare and school with you. Your mom and I got a lot to do today." He went about sitting Nicole and Arlene in their chairs before he watched Gideon sit down on the chair he usually ate at. Gabe kept a sharp eye on the kids as they went about eating their food. He did not tolerate food fights or horseplay regarding meal time. Savv utterly hated it when the kids misbehaved, which was why she left the parenting disapline to Gabe.

Within twenty minutes of the usual fuss that young children tended to make, it was off out the door and the kids were soon gone on their daily journeys.

Savv sat down on the sofa when she heard the doorbell ring at her. She rose to her feet to answer it, only to find herself face-to-face with Torilla Yamaguchi. This was a surprise to her.

"Mom. Since when do you knock?" Savv inquired, she smiled as she looked up at Torilla as she inquired.

"On account of I don't live here, honey. I respect your space as well as you guys." Torilla responded, a gentle grin on her face. "Besides. I know you're getting the kids off to school and daycare. Which was why I opted to wait on the matter." she added.
