Kadian Paris sat down at her deck. "Computer. Display message for me. Authorization Paris Two Nine Delta Sierra." she commented. As she half expected, the face of her father appeared. "Kadian. I didn't think you would answer." Fleet Captain William Paris greeted his daughter in his usual jovial tone of voice.

"Hey, Dad. I almost didn't." Paris answered her father in the same jovial tone. "Do you know how hard it is for me to find a decent boyfriend?"

"I do recall something of your concerns in that area of issues. Yes." Paris answered. "I assume you think you found someone?"

"I think so. I'll give you all the details later... His brother moved heaven and earth for me to have this particular gift. When I get off the com with you. I'm going to take my gift and enjoy it all night long." she explained.

"Oh my. Such language and in the presence of your father. No less." Paris grinned at his daughter. "Does he pass muster?"

"Oh yes. He does." Paris answered her father. "I am hoping he will not be overly abusive with me. It has been a while for me," she explained.

"You know. You could try talking it over first. See what his preferences are in comparison to yours." Paris answered. "You may yet be suprised. Considering that this is Kameron's brother. I expect him to teach you lessons you're gonna feel for the rest of your life."

"That's not what I was expecting you to say. Dad." Paris answered.

"I know, honey. But look at it from my perspective. You don't need me to be fighting this battle and you know what you want. You know how you wanna get there. So I will instead ask you a question. Does this man fit into your plans?. If yes then I will close out this chat by wishing you a merry Christmas so you can go back to him and enjoy your evening with him. Personally. I recommend sharing a shower with him but that's up to you." Paris paused. "However if he does not fit then let him down easy. End this encounter before anything else goes wrong," Paris explained to his daughter before he smiled at her. "Go have a great Christmas honey and enjoy Kameron's gift to you."

"Thanks, Dad," Paris answered. "Merry Christmas to you as well." she paused a moment. "Paris out." and with that, she rose to her feet and went back out into the main sitting area. But before she could sit down, she got a second call on secured channel five. Paris now looked annoyed. "Come on. You can help me deal with this one," she said to Solusar.

"Sure," Solusar answered as he rose to his feet. He followed the smaller woman into the study as she indicated the chair. He took a seat before she sat down on his lap. "Is this wise?" Solusar asked as he coiled his arms around the woman on his lap.

"Nope. But it will work. Mom is calling me and I want her to get the hint." Paris answered with a smile. She took a moment to make herself comfortable. Paris smiled as she knew the effect she was presently having on him. "Computer. Display message for me. Authorization Paris Two Nine Delta Sierra." she commented. As she half expected, the face of her father appeared. "Kadian. Honey. Is this a bad time?." Captain Kalandra Paris greeted her eldest child. "Oh. Hello. I'm sorry. I didn't see you back there." Kassie commented with a rather wide smile. She had no idea that her daughter was seeing anyone.

Solusar regarded Paris's mother. She was nothing like he had expected. Her skin tone was as light as his own and her accent was off too. "Ma'am."

Kassie regarded Kadian. A moment passed between mother and daughter. "I'm interrupting something," she commented. "I just wanted to wish you a good Christmas honey." before she looked at Solusar. "You as well. Big man."

"Mom. This is Marcus Solusar. My boyfriend." she turned. "Marcus. This is Kassie Paris. My mother." she did the introductions.

"Nice!" Kassie grinned at the two of them. "Such wonderful news you two."

"It's good to meet you. Ma'am." Solusar answered. "Have a good Christmas yourself," he added after a moment.

Kassie smiled. "Let me get outta here so you two can go back to your evening. Kadian. I want details kay?" and with that, she chuckled like a demented schoolgirl before hanging up.

"I'm sorry. My mother can be... A little strange." Paris sighed as she hopped off of his lap. She turned to face him.

Solusar gently cupped her face with both of his hands. "Your mother is still your mother. You're the one I'm interested in. Not her." he smiled as he gently kissed her on the lips. "Where do you spend your off duty time anyway... This place doesn't look like anyone lives here."

"I do live here. The bedroom and in here is where I spend my time." Paris commented with a smile. "The main area is for entertaining guests. Of and when they show up. Otherwise, this room is my court and the bedroom is where I sleep." Paris paused. "I need a shower. Do you want to share one with me?"

Solusar grinned at her. "Lead on. I will look after your back if you look after mine."

Paris turned and went into the bedroom. Solusar followed in silence.
