Timeline: 1000Hrs - August 1st, 2393

1st Lieutenant Rachael Yamaguchi-Cullen sighed as she felt the hot water caress her body and every square inch of it. "Oh yeah... Next best thing to sex," she commented softly as she admired the Andorian Shen coming towards her, wearing an identical set of attire. Both women were wearing black bathing suits that were designed for working out in and not for looking good. She gave the Andorian the once over. "Taffy, imagine meeting you here," she commented to the Andorian.

"Hi there Rippy." Taffy cheerfully used Rachael's nickname. "Just trying to unwind."

"Well, today was my day off and I want to sit here in this small pool and admire the men passing by," Yamaguchi-Cullen explained as she sat up. "I may be married but that doesn't mean I can't live my life you know. As much as I love my babies Taffy, it doesn't mean I don't mind some time without them around," she added. "Maybe we'll get lucky and we'll find us a man to bed," Yamaguchi-Cullen added, with a wide grin on her lips.

Taffy giggled. "I thought you pushing out a few babies might slow down your libido. I now stand corrected."

"Slow down?" Yamaguchi-Cullen grinned at traffic. "Since when have I needed to slow down...?" she inquired. "I'm starting to wonder if Ripcord was a bad choice of callsign for me," she added as she moved over. "Come on in, the water is great.," she added.

Taffy dove into the water head first. She came up for air a few seconds later. "Water is s bit warm for me. I'm sure for a human it is just fine."

Yamaguchi-Cullen was resting at the shallow end, as she smiled. "But you color very nicely Taffy, a nice shade of bright blue. It brings out your eyes," she commented with a gentle smile when she suddenly indicated the other side of the pool where three men were walking along, all wearing standard attire. "The last guy, see him?"

Taffy looked over the young men. "Yeah, he looks like your average human."

Yamaguchi-Cullen raised an eyebrow. "That's Paul Harrison, he is not the average joe," she admitted. "I got a letter from Saki last night, she was confused as to why this guy was contacting her... Paul is Saki's biological father."

"Really?" Taffy was a little confused. "I'm not a Human. What did you see in him as a potential breeding partner?"

"Well I was fifteen at the time and it was really a one-time thing, I was curious about sex and how it worked, he showed me how it worked, it was fun," Yamaguchi-Cullen explained. "I got a night of interesting sex and Saki. All In all, I'd say I won." she turned to the Andorian. "You don't breed with him, you have casual sex with him... He is quite good." Rachael answered. "He was educational for me." as she slid an arm around the Andorian's shoulders. "I think he can teach you a few things..."

While Taffy enjoyed Rachael's advances, she was just too curious to shut up. "Why doesn't Saki know who her biological father is?"

"Saki does know who he is," Yamaguchi-Cullen answered evenly. "She contacted him and things went from poorly to downright stupid."

"Really? Was it something that Saki did?" The blue-skinned girl asked

"She said that he was her father, he didn't believe that a twenty-two-year-old could be the father to a nine-year-old child. So he accused her of a practical joke, it came up about a week ago when we were reunited... I also gave him my opinion on the matter." Yamaguchi-Cullen paused. "I lost my temper..."

"Wait...Didn't he know that his own daughter got caught in a chrono event? Wasn't he keeping in touch with her?" Taffy asked.

"Paul didn't know Saki even existed when I found out that I was pregnant at the time, he had already departed for the academy but his mother... stupid fucking twat... didn't bother to tell me so I had assumed he had left home and was never coming back." she then shrugged her shoulders. "In the end, I still had support with Saki... and she's with the man who became her dad on the USS Heart of the Tiger."

Taffy nodded. "Okay. I still don't see the appeal in him as a sexual mate. He seems a bit too..." Taffy searched for the words "...stiff?"

"That's because you have yet to meet him," Yamaguchi-Cullen commented evenly. "Why don't you-" Yamaguchi-Cullen stopped when Harrison suddenly addressed her from four foot away. "Rachael, fancy meeting you here. You enjoying some time off."

"Yeah, the water's great, why don't you join us?" Yamaguchi-Cullen answered as she took a moment to adjust her suit so it wasn't so painfully obvious that she was very female.

"Okay." and with that, Harrison slipped into the pool, careful to not make a big splash. "Mmmm.." he emerged a moment later. "So, what's new with you?"

"Not a lot... Paul meets Taffy, Taffy, this is Paul." Yamaguchi-Cullen handed the introductions.

"Taffy... Oh, you're a pilot." he addressed the Andorian before him. "I was wondering if your clan hated you or something."

"They don't hate me. They just don't understand me. My clan likes Shen's and Zhen's to be artists and poets. I chose the military." Taffy answered.

"Fair enough," Harrison answered. "Nothing wrong with that," he added. "So, Taffy. Tell me a little about yourself, you are friends with Rachael here, after all, that's gotta count for something."

"Well, I consider Rachael more than a friend." Taffy beamed at her once lover and partner. "For myself, I'm a good pilot, loyal friend, and mild candy addict."

Harrison smiled. "Nothing wrong with candy. Do you prefer toffee or caramel?"

"Oh, I prefer caramel. Although I'll put toffee down my gullet in an instant." Taffy replied.

"I find Bajoran candy to be good," Harrison commented. "What sort of art do you do?" he inquired. "Anything good?"

Yamaguchi-Cullen regarded Harrison in silence for a moment. "What sort of art do 'you' do?" she asked him

"I like to paint," Harrison answered Rachael's statement with his own.

"I was actually a musician. I was a Vai'mora player. That's a close equivalent to an Earth Cello." Taffy proudly replied.

Harrison smiled. "Nice... do you still play?" he inquired. "I've been learning to play the piano myself.."

Yamaguchi-Cullen looked surprised. "I didn't know you played.." she commented quietly.

"Well, I don't play as much as I like too," Taffy admitted. "I was looking into maybe joining a small orchestra but I can never seem to find the time."

"Then we can play together later. I'd like to hear you play..." Harrison answered.

"You'll have to excuse me if I'm out of practice but I like that idea," Taffy replied. "Do you play an instrument, Rippy?"

"No.," Yamaguchi-Cullen answered quietly. "I was never musically included. I will watch and listen, if that's alright... or if you two wish to be alone." she paused. "To each their own right?"

"Have you ever tried singing? You have a pretty voice?"

Yamaguchi-Cullen shook her head. "No... I've not thought about it. Sorry.." clearly it was new to her, it showed too.

"Well, if you don't want to play an instrument, you should learn how to sing. I'm sure you could sing like feathered worm catcher." Taffy told Rachael.

Yamaguchi-Cullen and Harrison shared a look. "Feathered worm catcher?" Harrison asked, clearly confused about the statement.

"I've heard humans use that phrase. You sing like some sort of ornithological creature?" Taffy asked, not quite sure if she got the phrase correct.

Yamaguchi-Cullen and Harrison shared a look as she smiled. "You mean, sing like a canary," Harrison commented evenly.

"I guess. Anyways, do you have a piano in your quarters? That is a large instrument to practice on."

"No. Mine is much smaller. I brought it with me, it's in my duffel." Harrison commented with a gentle smile. "I can roll it up and take it with me anywhere."

"I have seen those. They are nice but don't put out the same sound like a real piano. Sort of like replicator food, this taste is close but not the same depth of flavor." Taffy replied.

Harrison slowly regarded Yamaguchi-Cullen with a look. "Oh, I like this one."

"Okay, did you two want to swim?" Taffy asked

Yamaguchi-Cullen smiled. "That's what I'm here for." she regarded Harrison with an impish smile before she shifted her attention to the Andorian Shen. "First to fifty lengths.?"

Ryi responded with a sly smile and started off on her laps.

Yamaguchi-Cullen and Harrison started off after her a moment later.
