Mission: Mission 118: The Christmas from Hell
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 1340Hrs - December 1st, 2393

Lt Commander Galiaan Fordring was a woman on a mission. She moved into the deep end of the pool with only the spound of displaced water in her wake, as her legs powered her through the surf that she had created. Then with a large splash and whoosh of spray. Fordring dove beneath the water. She was gone after a moment, with the ripples from the dramatic entrance were already fading away to nothing.

Fordring opened her eyes as she looked around. She took a moment to settle on the bottom as she smiled. Taking a moment to enjoy the sensasion of being immersed in water. Before she kicked off of the bottom, heading for the surface.

Fordring emerged a moment later. She ran a hand through her long ponytail that she always wore as she let out a loud scream. It was of satisfaction as she had truly missed being in a swimming pool. It was in places and spaces like this that she and Tirion had brought many of her children into the world. Most of that was due to Tirion sharing many of her interests in aquatic sports.

Solusar-Yamaguchi went charging after her. "Shit!" she had misunderstood her scream for one of distress where it was in fact one of happiness. He had misunderstood as Fordring simply stood up. Water ran from her body as she turned to face Solusar-Yamaguchi who was quickly approaching her. He found her couldn't stop himself, the look on his face said as much. So Fordring gently caught him in her arms, rather then have him crash into her. "Hey big man," she commented as she regarded him, a gentle smile on her lips. "Have you come to yell at me?" she inquired further.

"No. I heard you scream... I came to help." Solusar-Yamaguchi answered softly as he gently enfolded his arms around her. "Come 'ere," he said softly before he gave the massive woman in his arms a hug. "It's gonna be okay... But I'm sorry Galiaan... For my part in all this drama." he commented before he gave her a quick kiss on the side of her face. It was hardly noticeable from range but that was Solusar-Yamaguchi's plan.

Fordring found she was unexpecting anything other then getting yelled at. Now she was overwhelmed and unable to process it all. She burst into tears as Solusar-Yamaguchi gently held her in his arms. She buried her face into his shoulder as he stood before her. Even though he was much smaller then she was and over a foot shorter. He gently held her as she cried. "Its okay Galiaan." he gently soothed her as if she was one of his own children. He gently rubbed her back through her suit.

He had misunderstod her scream but her cries were not those of an angry woman but those of a lost and angry child. Yamaguchi-Solusar slowly waded over to where her husband was standing. She gently placed her hand onto the middle of the other woman's back. "I'm sorry too Galiaan... I should have listened to you." she said softly.

Fordring couldn't respond. She had no energy to speak as she cried herself out. After awhile she felt her strength draining away as Solusar-Yamaguchi regarded his spouse. "Help me with her Beth... We just need to get Galiaan to shore." he commented as the two got ready. "I'm not leaving her here." he added. Then they gently hauled the Vrykul woman to shore. Before they gently set her down onto the large towel. Face-up so she could breathe and sleep.

Yamaguchi-Solusar sighed. "This is my fault. I shouldn't have been such a coward all those weeks ago. Had I not ducked her. I could have resolved this when I'd had the chance." as she growled softly.

Solusar-Yamaguchi regarded his spouse. He knew where she was heading so he made his move before she could finish hers. "Beth. This isn't about blame. This is about resolution." he paused. "Yes we could have done this weeks ago but it does not matter. We're doing this now." he regarded her as he spoke. "Making a peace you both can live with." He breathed out and then back in again. "There was a time when she was your greatest ally. Beth... She may yet be again. So when we leave. Lets wake her up and take her home with us. The three of us have much to discuss." he slowly smiled. "You two need to come to terms. You were very unfair with her. So were others. She got blamed for this crap that wasn't her fault."

"Yeah." Yamaguchi-Solusar answered softly. "I think I remember the plea for forgiveness in her native tongue." she paused. "I'm not sure if its Kor'Nagh or Mor'Nagh."

"Its Mor'Nagh. I know what you are trying to say. You're addressing her as honoured friend but you should be saying, beloved sister." Solusar-Yamaguchi explained. He gently took a seat near where Fordring was lying. He gently ran a finger over her jawline. "We'd best wake her up."

Yamaguchi-Soluar gently sat down near the other side of Fordring, from where her spouse was sitting. "Galiaan. Wake up." she said softly. "Galiaan." was as far as she got before she other woman's eyes flickered open.
