Mission: Mission 111: The Sorrows of Night
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 1210Hrs - October 25th, 2393

Elizabeth paused as she quietly burped. Trying not to make a scene on the matter. "Mmm... Well... I feel full for now." she commented. "I'd forgotten what a full meal felt like... I need to do this more often," she commented.

Kameron was eating his fourth slice of pizza. He had two slices from the two plates before him. He regarded his spouse as she ate her fill. He knew that speaking would serve to distract her and he wanted her to eat her fill.

Elizabeth could hear her husband thinking and she appreciated the fact that he was willing to let her eat in silence. "I don't mind you talking while I eat Kam," she commented softly.

"I know... But I find it distracting... You need to eat bigger meals and me nagging you won't help that cause." Kameron slowly smiled at his spouse. "You look so hot wearing that tank top," he commented.

"You are a tease," Elizabeth answered quietly. "Since we don't need to worry about Robbie interrupting us... I think I can handle your lust for me." she paused. "But I do not need to be heading back to sickbay because we overdid it in bed..."

Kameron nodded his head. He knew that there were many hazards in regards to having sex with a pregnant woman. This was something that Beth had explained to him at length. "Don't worry. I know how to be gentle Beth. I know better than to try rough sex, especially now..." he reassured his spouse.

"It could be worse... I don't have the Halanan issues that mom does." Elizabeth explained quietly. "She needs to see Dad every once in a while... It's to maintain their psionic bond... The one that Nalla Furban broke without realizing what she had done."

"I had a thought about that," Kameron commented. "The psionic bond I mean... Perhaps it's there to help remind the female that this is her mate," he commented. "Maybe it's a barrier to other males... Saying 'hey, back off. This lady's spoken for'?."

Elizabeth regarded her husband as she smiled. "Yes. YThats it exactly." She commented. "Mom needs Dad's time and attention otherwise she starts having issues... It's her psionic connection to Dad starting to fail... Due to distance and... For lack of a better word, lack of attention." as she grinned at her husband. "Something I will need to consider for when we are parted due to assignments..."

"Ouch," Kameron answered with a soft smile on his lips. "So... You've made your choice then?"

"I'm considering the matter carefully," Elizabeth answered quietly. "Maybe my time in medical has blinded me to other options out there... Many in medical used me to handle way too much for way too long..." She added with a soft sigh. "Its... Pissed me off... To be honest." she paused as she turned towards her husband. "Did you have that issue in science?"

"No," Kameron answered quietly. "I was allowed more or less to come and go as I pleased..." he then sighed softly. "Meanwhile medical worked you to death."

Elizabeth sighed in response. "Tell me something, Kam... What stopped you from laying out Galiaan Fordring?" she asked. "I know you very much desired to do it."

"Oh, I did. I won't lie... I wanted to ram my fist into her face repeatedly until I broke bone... I wanted her to feel my pain... She worked you to death... I wanted her to know what that felt like..." he sighed softly.

"Kam... She knows." Elizabeth paused. "I suspect that it'll come up in the department meeting tomorrow morning... Galiaan might drop by to apologize and try to placate me... So... I'll ask you... To not hit her."

"I will try," Kameron answered, in a soft tone. "I make no promises, however. I will tell her how I feel but..." as he regarded his spouse. "The number of meals you lost or outright missed. The amount of time with your own child she made you skip because nobody else can do what the big bad Elizabeth can do... She's gotta do it all, fuck everyone else... Let Elizabeth handle it... Why, because Elizabeth is everyone else's beast of burden."

Elizabeth lifted another slice of pizza, she began eating it a moment later as she knew her husband was upset over this and she knew he needed to get it out of his system now rather than let his anger turn to outright hatred.

"Elizabeth, do you remember what happened the last time we were here... With something going wrong between you and the guys in sickbay.... Tienn Iteela had been poisoned with some kind of drug and she very nearly removed your ability to walk forever. Now medical has fucked you around twice... and here we are again."

Elizabeth nodded as she finished the slice of pizza off. "Your right Kam..." she admitted. "I even violated my own rules on the matter too." she paused as she let out a soft sigh.

"Never let a person who's fucked me around once back into a position where he or she might fuck me over again," Kameron answered softly. "Don't make that decision now. Beth, we'll both regret it..." he paused a moment. "Sleep on it and we can discuss it tomorrow..." Kam sighed softly. "But in the meantime... I don't know about you but... I'm hungry. Let's eat."
