Mission:
Mission 111: The Sorrows of Night
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 1200Hrs - October 25th, 2393
Lt Commander Elizabeth Yamaguchi-Solusar felt strange as she was sitting at the table with a large consignment of food arrayed around her. She paused as she regarded the three pizza's which she had ordered along with the four litres of water in four separate containers. One of the pizzas was a standard Brooklyn pepperoni pizza, the second was a triple meat pizza with extra cheese and the third was a donar meat and barbeque chicken pizza.
Elizabeth smiled as she pictured her niece salivating and drooling over the food before her but she was unsure of where to even begin. The bedroom door opened and out emerged Kameron Solusar-Yamaguchi, he was wearing a pair of trank pants and a tank top. He smiled as he admired the pregnant form of his spouse. A woman he thought of as being one of the hottest women in the entire sector and he didn't care who knew it. He enjoyed bedding his wife often too.
He enjoyed spending his time with her, she educated him in regards to medical concerns. He was able to take any number of nursing and medical tests and probably pass them all. He in return, spent time educating her in the arts of science. The ways gravity created stars and how reality worked. Kameron knew his wife could easily hold a conversation on how steller physics worked a lot better now than even a year ago. She could take several tests in regards to various science classes and probably pass them too.
"You look so lovely, sitting there in thought..." Kameron commented as he slowly made his way over to his wife. He gently placed his hands over her shoulders before he gently began kneading the flesh of her shoulders. "Relax Beth... You're way too tense..."
Elizabeth groaned softly, allowing her head to slump forward. "Uhhh..." she moaned softly.
"You've been given all this time off..." Kameron answered softly. "Then you can decide that you want to do... Will you go back to medical?" Kameron paused. "The only reason I'm not being promoted even though I've been told I'm already ready for the Commanders rank... Is only because of lack of experience and time in my present grade... I know it's the same with you."
Elizabeth nodded her head gently. "Doctor Dvald told me already," she commented softly. "I know Galiaan wants to make amends to me for what happened..." she paused a moment. "Sokanon missed it too and so did Captain Dvald." she shifted her attention to her spouse. "I allowed this to get out of hand... and now our baby is at risk..." Elizabeth sighed as she felt her husband kneading the flesh on her shoulders before he began working his way down her front. "Stop," she whispered.
It was unexpected and he did stop, he gently straightened up as he regarded his spouse. "What?" he didn't know what else to say as he looked at her.
"If you didn't then we've retreat into the bedroom and I'd take you to bed," Elizabeth explained. "We do have guests coming today to check up on us... I know Dad will call first before he drops in on us, wanting to make sure his baby girl is alright..." Elizabeth slowly grinned. "I love spending time with Dad... He hates his rank and title... I know that when his time as Executive officer of the Taurus Reach is finished next year... He'll go back to his normal rank... Division Admiral... Maybe he'll get command of a Valhalla. Or maybe even a Starbase?"
"That's just unfair... Going from Admiral to Division Admiral." Kameron answered as he slipped into a chair next to his spouse.
"No, it's what he wants... Dad doesn't like the rank, he never has..." Elizabeth smiled at her husband. "I know he's counting down the days... and Fleet Admiral Duval knows she can't keep him long... He knows his next assignment will hopefully reunite him and mom... So they can resume their relationship... I know being parted from her drives him crazy..."
Kameron regarded his spouse. "He told you."
"He did. You forget Kam that there are few topics that don't get discussed in our family... Ouros could learn some lessons from all of this..." she turned back to the pizzas. "Okay. I'm starving... Let me have a moment and eat..."
"Very wise." Kameron regarded his spouse with a nod of his head. He watched as she picked up two slices. She placed one on top of the other before she began eating the pizza. Over the course of the next fifteen minutes. Elizabeth effectively demolished an entire pizza alone to herself.
She smiled as she sat back in her chair, taking a moment to process the feeling of having a full meal that filled her. It was something she had missed for the last several weeks. It was something Elizabeth vowed she would not repeat.
