The Sorrows of Night - Part Seven

Mission: Mission 111: The Sorrows of Night
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 1030Hrs - October 24th, 2393

Lt Commander Galiaan Fordring knew that the coming chat would be like navigating a rather sizeable minefield so she knew she would need to be careful over the matter at hand, she moved down the hallway before the massive female entered the science section. Fordring nodded to the man at the front desk as the large female came to a stop, rather than simply walk right on in, she couldn't just do things like that, the rank she wore had its privileges but this was not one of them, no emergency had been called and her presence was not required at this time, thus she had to be civil on this and any other topic.

"Can I help you Doctor?" the man asked.

"I'm looking to speak with Lt Commander Kameron Solusar-Yamaguchi..." Fordring inquired. "It's a medical matter that I need his assistance with."

"Let me check for you..." the man answered when both of them were interrupted by a second voice. "Doctor Fordring... Its been a while." Commander Keyan Fardreamer commented as his eyes twinkled with amusement.

"Indeed Commander, it has..." Fordring grinned as she regarded the stranger who wasn't a stranger to her at all.

"Walk with me and you can regale me with your tale of woe that has brought you to my door." Fardreamer grinned at her with a teasing tone in his voice as Fordring shrugged. "Thanks anyway Petty Officer." she addressed the man at the desk.

"Any time Doctor." the man answered as she followed the much smaller human down the hallway, but when she was over seven-foot in height, everyone was smaller then she was.

"So, Galiaan... What's the concern?" Fardreamer suddenly dropped the amused act and became a lot more serious.

"Well... It's about Elizabeth Yamaguchi-Solusar... I need to speak with Kameron... So he and I are on the same page as I di not need him as a foe to my efforts concerning his wife..." the massive female explained as she hugged a sigh at the smaller man beside her.

Fardreamer nodded sagely, he had clearly known parts of this issue as he didn't react the way that Fordring had expected. "Kam explained to me some of the issues that have been bothering him. I've been trying to help as best as I can... Happy people are productive people and Kam is one of my best... It behoves me to make sure he's happy and recent events tell me he isn't..."

"You are aware of some of the details... That does help me immensely." Fordring smiled at him.

"Has something bad happened to Elizabeth?" Fardreamer inquired directly.

"Not as such... But there have been a couple of developments... and I'd like to speak with Kam of them, maybe I can alleviate his concerns..." she commented as she regarded Fardreamer with a look.

Fardreamer knew what she was getting at. "I think Kam needs a break as much as his spouse does..." he paused. "Do I need to give Kam some time off?"

"That would be divine if you did..." Fordring grinned at him. "Can you spare him?"

"I can yes..." Fardreamer responded. "Did you relieve his wife of duty?"

"I did.. for two weeks... I'm going to talk things over with Kam and see where this takes us... Hopefully, he won't lose his mind with me over the matter..." Fordring commented.

Fardreamer nodded. "I will go with you," he commented before the two began moving down the hallway, reaching one of the science labs as Kameron Yamaguchi was sitting at one of the stations. Floating in midair before him was a large holoimage of a bright blue giant, with him was his team of two other people who were also busy. All of them ignored Fardreamer as this was his standard policy, not to stop working when he or Takabe appeared.

Fardreamer regarded the younger man before him. "Kam... Got a second?" he commented to the man who was leading the team.

"Sure Commander..." Solusar-Yamaguchi rose to his feet as he came over to where Fardreamer was standing as the younger man regarded Fordring with a wary gaze. "Doctor..." he commented quietly.

Fardreamer could see the issue arising already. "Come on, let's go step into my office..." before he turned and walked away. Fordring followed in silence and Solusar-Yamaguchi followed as well, he took a moment to check out the figure of the massive woman before him but he knew that Fordring knew that he was admiring her, she gently began sashaying her hips from side to side as she walked. Solusar-Yamaguchi sighed while the three of them reached their destination.

Fardreamer regarded the two of them. "I'll wait outside."
