Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 1600Hrs - November 18th, 2393

Monique Deepshadow smiled as she regarded her half-sibling as Samantha Yeager approached her from down the hallway. "Hey Sammy, how're things?" she asked.

"I could complain... But it would be pointless." Deepshadow smiled as she gently hugged Yeager. "Its good to see you..." she added.

"You as well. You look better then you did when last you came this way... I guess you and dad made your peace then?"

"Saying it gave me some closure... But it wasn't his fault, he didn't know I existed..." Deepshadow responded with a wide grin on her face.

Yeager nodded her head. "Besides mom makes him happy... I know I drive him nuts but then isn't that what all daughters are supposed to do to their fathers?" Yeager answered with a smile.

Whatever Deepshadow was about to say was interrupted with a third female voice, this one spoke with an odd accent. "As you should..." came the sound of a third woman who had an odd accent as an almost double of Monique Deepshadow came around the corner. "Well hello, ladies... Why are you here?" the stranger inquired.

Yeager raised an eyebrow. "Me... Wait... Who are you?"

"Actually... I was asking you." right as the strange woman gently poked Monique in the center of her chest, between her breasts. "Why are you... here..."

"Monique, you never said you had a twin," Yeager commented in a quiet tone of voice.

"My sisters are toddlers..." Deepshadow paused as she regarded her erstwhile sibling. "Who are you?" her tone indicated that she had run out of patience with this state of affairs.

"Well... I'm an echo... If you want to use that term... Stolen from your mother. I am your lost twin... Did your mom not speak of me?"

"No..." Monique paused. "But it does explain so much... Why she was a bad mother to me, she fosted me off with aunt Miranda... She wasn't doing it to hurt me... she was doing it because she was mourning you." Monique paused. "Mom and I need to chat... I was going to call her but now... Now she and I must speak... and you will come with me." as she regarded her twin. "I must have proof of your claim... I am not going to accept it on face value..."

Yeager regarded the two women with a gentle smile. "Do you want me to inform mom and dad you won't be present for dinner?"

"Oh, fuck no. I'm not missing Aunt Talon's lasagna for anything." Monique answered softly. "Sammy, come on, I'm crazy, not stupid." as she turned her attention back to her twin as she regarded her while she spoke. "Wait... Did you say... Dad?" Deepshadow asked.

"I did..." Monique answered. "Oooh... you have no idea as to who your family actually is... Do you?"

"No..." she paused. "I am Krista Deepshadow as of my proper birth certificate... I did my homework while I was in the orphanage on Huthea... Raised in state care... I decided to join starfleet, not to serve but to hunt down my real family... and my efforts have led me to you." Deepshadow explained. "Apparently, you are quite the master of your craft... and what's wrong with your boyfriend... You not like him or something?"

"Whats Jacob got to do with this?" Monique asked softly

"Nothing, he was the one who contacted me, saying that I needed top stop stalking you. He is highly protective of you. That was... Until he realized that was the other half of your soul. We came from the same egg, Monique." Deepshadow admitted

"Mom never mentioned you, there was no record of you at all... No investigation... No nothing." Monique added quietly.

Krista regarded her twin. "I can't answer that, but what I do know... Security was tightened at the academy's medical facilities after the fact. I know an investigation was done quietly and they concluded that I was dead... Killed in the same robbery that had taken out my abductor." she explained. "Except I survived."

Yeager regarded the almost identical twins. "Do you two want me to leave you alone for this?" she asked in a gentle tone of voice.

"No," Monique answered quietly. "Let's go to the Hospital. I want this DNA question resolved..."

Deepshadow regarded her in silence for a moment, she knew the other woman would not let the matter rest lightly, she nodded. "Alright then..."

Yeager raised an eyebrow as she regarded the twins, this was not something she needed to be present for "I'll go on ahead and inform dad and mom that you're on your way and are being detained with some bloodwork." Yeager explained. "I'll let you explain specifics... If you want."

"Alright," Monique answered in a light tone as Yeager turned and began moving away. Kirsta regarded Sammy Yeager. "She's hot..." as she smiled while admiring the larger woman's gait and walk.

"Don't let her hear you saying that..." Monique answered. "She's your half-sister... If, you are indeed related to me... That is..."

"Ohh... That's a shame... Because she's really hot, if she isn't seeing anyone, she will be soon..." Deepshadow answered with a grin. "Anyway... Shall we?"
