| Personal History | Sammy Yeager was born in 2364 while Davijaan Yeager was a student at Starfleet Academy, her mother was part Klingon so Sammy inherited her mothers' genetics more than her fathers. Two months after Sammy was born. Ja'nette was raped, then mutilated and then left to die slowly as Davijaan found her several hours later as she lay in a pool of her own blood and body parts. The effects of finding her while she was still alive were crippling to Davijaan. Wherever her father went across the course of his career, she went along with it too as she was a fleet brat, she called nowhere home and her friends were everywhere. She came to love this life and the first planet she felt was Alpha Centauri after she went to the academy. Before that, she had never felt a real planet's surface and the experience was an unsettling one for her. She went into Operations as a Computer Nerd with an unhealthy hobby of blowing things up. The time at the academy was highly educational for her and she learned a great deal before she was commissioned into the fleet. Her first assignment was to the USS Babylon which had just finished refitting into an Anchorage Class Freighter from a Galaxy-class Heavy Cruiser. Better known as a Medium Logistical Cruiser. It was here where she cut her teeth on service in the fleet before she was offered the chance to go to Earth to learn about Command since she was so inclined mentally rather than remain in Operations. After finishing her education at the academy, she was offered the chance to come along to the USS Shinano as the main aide for the new Squadron commander for the Shinano's squadron. Sammy accepted eagerly. |
