Captain Neban Hular smiled as he placed the PADD on his wife's desk. "Well Ezas, I expect apologies and six-packs of booze from every one of your medics," he commented evenly.

Commander Tienn Ezas regarded her husband with a sardonic look. "Really now, You still think you are not contagious?" she inquired. "I need to vaccinate the entire crew and that's taking a while." as she gave her husband a rather evil glare. "This is what happens when you touch strange females in funny places."

"Awww. I'm devastated that my wife should address me so." Hular responded in a flat, even tone of voice while he regarded her.

"I can't say much on that one either. You don't seem too overly bothered about what happened." Tienn regarded her husband who was much more massive then she herself was.

"Yes, that's right. Blame me for Elia bringing home that bug from daycare." Neban responded, a smile on his face. "I mean really Ezas, I think you are enjoying yourself.?" he regarded her. "Or is it that you are enjoying your work?"

"Oh, Khost yes. Its seldom I get to enjoy myself at your expense." Tienn explained. "But you still very caused an epidemic of runny noses and colds, husband of mine. I will need to vaccinate everyone and you will need to pay a penance." as she gave her husband a rather evil grin.

"Bridge to Hular. Skipper, you are wanted, well you and Ezas are both wanted on subspace. Admiral Ryan St John would like a word." came the voice of Commander Phoolan Warfield. The Indian female seemed annoyed as one could hear her emotions clouding her tone. "Want me to tell him you are busy?"

"No, he'll only call back in ten minutes, on the tens until he gets ahold of me. Pipe him through down here. Ezas and I are both inside the Doctors office."

Tienn Ezas glowered silently at the wall monitor before she schooled her features back to a tone of normalcy, the great seal of the Federation appeared before the face of an older human appeared. "Ahh you both are together, good this will be made easier."

"Admiral," Hular said in an even tone. "What can we do for you?" Hular decided to be polite but Ryan St John was known for being ruthless, petty and vindictive, Usually, it was all three all at once.

"I am promoting the both of you, Commander Ezas.-" was as far as he got before Tienn interrupted in a cool, even tone.

"It's Tienn Admiral. Bajoran naming convention has the family name first. I am addressed properly as Tienn Ezas."

"Ahh, of course. My apologies Commander. I am promoting you to Captain and you are being reassigned to the USS Valhalla as the commander of the Medical section of Division Eight. Effective two days from now."

Tienn raised an eyebrow. "May I ask why Admiral?"

"Its because you are too high ranked for the posting you are in." St John explained. "The Valhalla is at the Teller Fleetyards, along with her various sisterships," he explained evenly. "Captain Hular, I'm having you promoted to Commodore and you'll be taking over the Freight and Logistical section of Division Eight, also based off of the Valhalla."

"Yessir," Hular answered. "We will be leaving as soon as we get things sorted out on this end."

"Very well, then I will detain you no further. St John out." and with that, the screen went black. "What the hell was that about?" Hular inquired of his wife.

"Beats me, but I got work to do, thanks to you being a troublemaker." the tall comely Bajoran responded.

Hular sighed. "It never ends with you, does it?"

"Nope." the tall Bajoran smiled at her husband. "I'll think of something suitable for your penance later."

Hular sighed. "By Zaros, you are impossible." and with that, he turned and walked out of sickbay.

"Wait, where ya goin!" the tall Bajoran suddenly shouted after him. "I gotta vaccinate you." Tienn's voice chased him out the door.

"I need a vacation," Hular said to himself more than anyone else. "Wait, I thought I was on vacation." the massive man shrugged as he knew his wife would simply call him back to sickbay when she was ready.

Tienn Ezas regarded the retreating form of her husband as she frowned. Today had just been ruined and she knew that her husband had a special place in his heart for the Avalon, this was where the home was and where they were raising their children, she had a feeling that the chat with the Admiral was bothering her husband in more ways then he was letting on.

Tienn sighed softly to herself before she turned and went back into sickbay, "Nurse, help me with this please."

"Right away Doctor." came the half-expected response.

Meanwhile, up on the bridge. The turbolift doors opened as Hular walked out onto his bridge. "Status number one, any chances?"

Commander Jamil Newsome shook his head. "Nadda skipper. Whats wrong?"

"Ahh, Ezas is in a mood." Hular sighed. "I also just got promoted."

"Ahh, that explains it," Newsom responded in a flat tone of voice, it was the promotion and not his spouse that had aggravated his skipper. "So. What now?"

"What now is that I'm told to turn over command to you. You'll be carrying on as Commander of the Avalon but you'll need a new Exec, a new chief medical officer and maybe a new chief of security as well." Hular explained. "I'd be surprised if they don't give her a ship of her own too."

"Because of her rank?" Newsom nodded his head. "Figures." he paused. "Phoolan, who would you take as your Exec?"

"I'll take Marie, she and I work well together," she commented as her display lit up. "I have an incoming message. I'm going to take it in the observation lounge." as the Indian female turned and walked off of the bridge in silence.

Lieutenant Paige Yamaguchi came over as she tapped the display that Commander Warfield had just vacated. "All systems are online and normal," she commented.

Newsom sighed. "Seems you were right skipper, when does all this take effect.?" the older male officer inquired in a gentle tone of voice.

"As soon as we reach the Teller Fleetyards," Hular responded.

Meanwhile. Phoolan Warfield regarded the face of Admiral St John. "Admiral, what can I do for you?" the Indian female inquired.

"You're being promoted to the center seat of the USS Benton. She's an Anchorage class ship, same as the one you are presently serving on, you have constant high marks and I was able to swing this for you despite your lack of command."

"Yessir," Warfield answered. "I assume this takes effect when we get to the Teller Fleetyards?"

"Yes, Commander. It does. Your new personnel for both ships will arrive at the same time. I assume you have your Executive officer selected?"

"I do. I want Lt Commander Marie Hasti as my exec."

"Done." St John answered. "The rest of the crew will be waiting for you."

"Yessir. Thank you for considering me" the older human female responded in a light tone of voice.

"Thank you, for not making my life difficult." St John answered.

"Yessir." the Indian female answered.

"St John out." and with that, the screen went dark before her, she turned and made her way back to the bridge. "You called it skipper," she said to Hular. "I just got promoted. I'm to command the USS Benton. She's an Anchorage Class, like this one so we'll be traveling together."
she said to her husband, she was loathed to leave his side and he knew it. "It'll be alright Phoolan, we'll make this work."

Just then the com beeped at them. "Sickbay to bridge. would the redoubtable Commodore Hular please report to sickbay. I have his penance ready now."

"Penance?" Newsom inquired.

"Tienn is being dramatic, she thinks I set a plague loose aboard the ship," Hular answered before he tapped his combadge. "I'm on my way."

"Good. All yee sinners, be warned." and with that, the com system disconnected as Hular left the bridge.
