Timeline: July 6th 2392

Anzan and several other Doctors made the final checks on Racheal Yamaguchi, who had just had her mind transfer sequence finished about an hour ago. It was an exhaustive sequence which took over 48 hours to complete and required three high-level AI's to do the work, but at last, they had completed the procedure, fortunately with minimal errors. Anzan then looked at his sister and she nodded, walking out to the waiting room to inform the family.

Rear Admiral Jake Yamaguchi sat in the corner, he was dozing lightly after having left his children with his eldest daughter. Elizabeth who was babysitting her youngest siblings as Jake went to see about his mother. Jake was seated here alone. He blinked as he heard a noise. "Mmmm. Sorry. what?" Yamaguchi inquired as he opened his eyes. He went from really groggy to fully awake in half a second as he rose to his feet. "Okay... so. whats going on?"

"Well the procedure was a success," Kasana explained carefully,
"Racheal will likely have some minor memory loss and minor coordination issues for a little while, but there are no major problems."

Yamaguchi regarded the small being before him, he had a million questions, he paused before he asked. "So. Mom is alive then?" he inquired.

"As much as you or me," Kasana replied. "We are about to wake her now, So I think it would be a good idea for you to be by her side when we do. in situations like these its always best to have a family member present."

Yamaguchi paused while he thought to himself, 'this is too easy.' he nodded. "Okay, so now then?" before he followed the small being into the main surgery complex, with his mother inside.

Anzan directed one of the nurses to wake up Rachael, and the nurse started the process. Within a minute, Racheal Yamaguchi gained consciousness.

Meanwhile, Jake Yamaguchi was busy taking a seat at his mother's bedside as her eyes flickered open. "Hey, Mom. How ya feeling?" Jake inquired.

Rachael blinked. "I'm... I'm not sure.. To be honest, I feel.. lighter." she paused before she looked around. "I don't... Oh." she paused as she looked down at her bare arms. "I got used to all that weight. Those augmentations to my bones and internal organs were heavy, along with all that armor plating I used to wear. I bet I weighed in at something on the order of a thousand pounds.." she paused. "Where are we?"

"We're aboard the Akurian Super heavy Starship Noble. Its gonna be okay mom." Jake responded.

"Oh right.. The Noble." Rachael responded quietly. "I keep forgetting details and memories but then they come back to me."

"That's normal mom, for a procedure of this type.." Jake responded with a smile. "Besides. You look great. I see you went for something as close to your original body as possible."

"Well, I didn't want to go for something that was different," Rachael explained quietly. "Wait. I'm in an android body... right?" she asked Kasana.

Kasana nodded and confirmed, " Yeah, you are, if you want a biological body, however, it will be some time before we could even begin the process of cloning one, however, we have your DNA on file, so it is possible."

Yamaguchi nodded her head. "I would actually but there is no need to rush it. It'll be nice to move around without the Borg armor plating and the like."

Jake nodded. "You should take it easy for a few days. Things aren't going anywhere. Let your mind adjust to your new situation."

Kasana checked over her notes, then added, "Well you are going to have to stay on this ship for the next few days so we can monitor your progress. Keep in mind, you're going to have some coordination issues as you get used to this. We will also have to do monthly checkups for the next year or so."

"Okay," Rachael responded as she turned her head, from Kasana to Jake. "How is everyone else doing?"

"Well, everyone else is dealing with their own issues. Torilla is the worst off as her issues are getting insane." he sighed softly. "She has Hundingtons which suddenly became active.. Because she died."

"Oh Jake... I'm so sorry." Rachael said quietly.

"Well Torilla isn't actually dead... She did die in battle and the Akurians were able to revive her. More or less.." Yamaguchi explained. "When you meet her, you'll understand."
