Mission:
Mission 82: It Is War’s Prize to Take All Vantage.
Location: USS Spirit of Winter - R'Merah's Quarters / The Armory
Timeline: 1100Hrs - April 24th, 2392
Chief Petty Officer R'Merah had taken almost his entire life down to the industrial replicator and had thrown away a lot of things, junk and old garbage he didn't want or need anymore, including a lot of things, had he brought with him from the empire.
The large Caitian had a large collection of small blades like daggers which he was going to box up and either recycle them into energy for the ship or give them to people who could use them.
He placed a chunk of carpet he had folded into sixteenths before he recycled it, The items came and he tossed them all away, he felt at peace with his choice to do this now.
After two hours of what he had come to the nickname 'the great Klingon Purge.' He was almost finished as he pushed a large hoversled which was full of weapons of all kinds from swords to lances, from polearms to bo's. The sled had over two hundred weapons of various kinds contained within. Most of them, however, were daggers.
R'Merah entered the armory moments later as the two personnel who were working with came to assist him. "Holy crap Chief. I didn't think you were serious.."
R'Merah peered across at the Ensign. "I see," he responded in a flat tone of voice. "I came to be rid of these." he paused. "Perhaps.. you could use them."
The second person, who was the Chief Petty Officer of the department and wore the rank of Senior Chief. "I'm not sure in truth what we could do with these Chief..."
"They are in good condition," R'Merah responded in an even tone.
The door opened and in walked Lieutenant Gabriel Yamaguchi, he peered at the weapons as he suddenly smiled. "Hey, guys. Whats up?"
"Hey, El Tee. Well, We're apparently receiving a consignment of blades from R'Merah here... But I'm not sure of where we could put them... We have no uses for them honestly."
Yamaguchi nodded his head. "What do you have?" he inquired of R'Merah
"Well I have a collection of polearms, bows, bo staff's in addition to blades."
"Really." if anything, Yamaguchi only seemed to be more cheerful about the news. "May I?" he indicated the sled before him.
"Of course. Help yourself... I no longer want to own these.." R'Merah responded in a dry tone.
Yamaguchi paused as he lifted a bow that truly looked excellent and with a quiver to match. "Seriously?"
"I am. These are part of who I once was... They are a part of my past.." R'Merah explained.
"Okay.." Yamaguchi responded. "Fair enough." he paused a moment. "So... How much for these two items?."
"They are yours... Take them and use them well.." R'Merah responded with a smile. "You owe nothing for them."
"Seriously?" Yamaguchi responded. "These weapons are in excellent condition..." he added as he slipped on the quiver over his uniform jacket. "I can use this.." he turned back to R'Merah. "My thanks." he paused. "You could always send them planetside. Maybe the militia that's being trained, could use them."
"Thank you. I will look into the matter." R'Merah turned the sled around and out the door, he went, while Lieutenant Chevalier was coming in. "Hey, Lieutenant." Yamaguchi greeted his opposite number in security who was also much older and more experienced than he himself was, being in the same room with her was intimidating for him, however. "I need to go down to the holodeck and test out this new bow..." and with that, he himself departed.
R'Merah went down the hallway, pushing the sled before him, people were stopping him every once in a while as they desired to seek something from the collection and as the time went by, items went to new homes as R'Merah watched in silence, a gentle smile on his lips.
One of the people who stopped him was Lieutenant Savannah Yamaguchi who picked out his second longbow, she lifted it as she smiled. "Can I have this? how much for it?"
"Nothing. It is your's, Lieutenant." R'Merah responded with a smile. "But you'll want the quiver for it, however." as he lifted it and handed it to her, she accepted it before she turned and departed, a rather wide smile on her lips.
The massive Caitian reached his destination, transporter room three. Upon entering he nodded to the operator who nodded back. "One to beam down to the planet please." he paused. "The militia's armory to be more specific."
"Right away Chief." the man responded as he began to tap at keys on his board while R'Merah stepped onto the transporter pad. "Energize when you are ready."
"Right.. and energizing." and with that. R'Merah was beamed away from the Spirit of Winter, down to the planet the ship was presently orbiting.
