Mission: Mission 69: Tienn's Fall from Grace
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1120Hrs - March 18th 2392

Warrant Officer Rachael Yamaguchi handed a PADD to the Master Chief of Engineering. "Master Chief.. the report you asked for." she reported as she placed the PADD into his hands.

"Thanks Rachael."

The door opened and in walked Senior Chief Kashi. Rachael noticed him as she frowned so she came over. "Hey Senior Chief... what the heck happened to you?"

Kashi took a seat, cradling his face. "Um, angry Argonne marine."

Rachael sighed. "Argonne again." she shook her head as she turned. "I need a medkit."

"Here you go warrant." and Davis who had been nearby, handed Rachael a medkit, she cracked it open as she looked for a PADD. "Master Chief, could you hand me that PADD please and thanks?"

Davis handed her the PADD which thankfully was empty. "Okay.. Let me document what I find here otherwise the security guys won't be happy with me."

About 10 minutes later Hakaya arrived in Engineering, infuriated. She then immediately commented to Ra'Vak. "Ra'Vak, do something funny, I need a laugh right now."

Ra'Vak unfortunately, wasn't prepared for some on the spot comedy.

Rachael couldn't think of any decent jokes but she decided to try. "Umm... Two guys walk into a bar, ouch. you thin the second guy would have ducked.." as she treated Kashi. "What did this Marine hit you with... their boot?"

Hakaya shook her head. "No that racist cow just used her fist pretty much."

"I look forward to hearing about this one, later." Rachael explained as she finished documenting everything. "Okay.. Kashi. I'm going to give you a mild painkiller... Just enough to take the edge off while I work okay?"

Kashi nodded but stayed quiet on the matter while Hakaya took a seat next to him. Kashi didn't even know what to make of it. "I didn't even know whom that bajoran woman was, and she just attacked me for no reason."

Rachael smiled. "Well don't worry about it. We'll find out what was bugging her soon enough." she responded as she finished treating her wounds, moments later Master Chief Von Estling came in. Uldyssian Davis nodded. "Hey.. 'sup?"

Von Estling came over to Hakaya and Kashi. "Alright, I need you two to go down to sickbay to document any injuries you two have."

Rachael Yamaguchi nodded. "Hey Master Chief. I'm working on the documentation for you and his wounds.." she indicated Kashi. "I do have nurse training."

Von Estling looked at Rachael. "Alright, but be sure a medical officer signs off on it then."

"Aye Master Chief." Yamaguchi responded evenly before she turned to Kashi. "You guys wanna head to sickbay now then?" she inquired.

Kashi nodded and Hakaya answered. "Yeah I'll go too."

Rachael packed away her tools. "Alright. shall we?" she inquired before she put the medical kit back where she had found it.

Several minutes later the three of them walked into sickbay. Lieutenant Galiaan Fordring regarded them. "Can I help you guys?" she inquired with a soft smile.

Hakaya pointed out to Kashi. "need to give him a checkup, and do a second review on Rachael's documentation on his injuries."

Von Estling then added. "Also do a checkup on Hakaya, she got involved in that fight as well." Hakaya gave Von Estling a look of annoyance.

Fordring nodded as Rachael handed her the PADD in hand. "Thanks Warrant... Nice.." she turned to Rachael. "You sure I can't poach you from engineering?, I always have more space for competent and qualified people... since Starfleet Intelligence stole my last one.." she growled softly.

Rachael smiled but she shook her head. "No... medical is my sisters domain and I will not intrude here.." she responded. "Besides... if I did.. then Siaxx or Ennis would probably steal me for the Tranquility." she added.

"Lovely... Nice to be in demand isn't it?"

"No kidding.." as Fordring turned to Hakaya. "Right then my little pretty, you're up first."

Yamaguchi watched Fordring give Hakaya the once over, she raised an eyebrow before she frowned, then she checked a second time. "Well... Hakaya.. You are pregnant." she smiled. "About two or three weeks along.."

Hakaya just froze, completely not expecting this news, she tried to reply but all that came out was an incomprehensible mix of Akurian and standard english. Taking a minute to get her brain back in order she finally said. "Well, I guess that has explained my unusual hunger lately, how many?"

Fordring regarded the smaller being before her. "Five young and healthy kits." she explained evenly. "You... weren't expecting.. this. were you?"

Hakaya shook her head then tapped her combadge," Hakaya to Teval, can you get Aerin and Karryn and come to sickbay please."

Teval acknowledged and a few minutes later he arrived in sickbay with the other two Kurokuri, "yeah what is it."

Hakaya was a bit slow to respond," yeah, I'mmm,.... I'm pregnant."

Teval took a minute to process the news then it hit him hard," wait what!, now of all times. Hakaya, we are halfway through adopting Ferasian kids and now your pregnant."

Hakaya sighed. "Yes I know, I was careless."

Teval took a seat in a nearby chair," Yeah I'll say, how many."

"Five."

Teval let out another sigh while Karryn added. "So who is the father."

Hakaya though about it for a moment, then replied. "Lirvinx, Ryuukei's brother."

Teval shook his head in disbelief.

Fordring raised an eyebrow. "Is that good ... or bad?" the massive woman inquired.

Rachael smiled. "I think its whatever you make of it Doctor." she responded. "Akurians practice a kind of community raising a child belief.. It works.. where everyone pitches in with raising children.."

"I'm not sure how I'd feel if my neighbours helped me raising my children.." Fordring responded.

"Thats because the Vrykul have a system similar to humans... one mate and they raise their children together or separately." Rachael responded. "These guys helped me with Saki more then a few times so... I understand both.. I could go off foraging for supplies and know Saki would be taken care of... In the event I should not come home."

"Fair enough.." Fordring responded. "The system sounds like it makes sense.."

Yamaguchi smiled up at the tall woman. "Everyone is unique Galiaan my dear.."

"Considering that only one person in here is human... Yes I would agree." Fordring indicated the small group present before her before she turned to Kashi. "Alright.. your turn.. Let me have a look at you."

Kashi didn't say anything as he allowed the medics to examine him.

Fordring nodded. "All signs with you point to an assault case." as she tapped the PADD on the bed next to her. "Ms Yamaguchi. you did fine work documenting everything." and with that she turned back to Kasi. "I'm going to heal the wounds she missed or couldn't treat because of lack of qualifications." and with that Fordring went to work.

Hakaya contemplated her predicament then asked Teval, "How many Ferasians are we lined up to Adopt."

"Seven", Teval answered," Yeah, your timing was not exactly wonderful."

Karryn then offered up a solution," Well with Kurokuri it is not uncommon for the males to take over as primary caregivers when the kits are weaned."

Hakaya shrugged, "Problem is, he isn't on the ship, and Lirvinx and his siblings are on their way out of Starfleet."

Karryn then has another suggestion," Well there is Roevin and Lynn, they are both good friends of Lirvinx and I have gotten along with them quite well."

Teval agreed with Karryn. "Yeah, I have too, they are both decent, I'd trust them. Hakaya you really should be more social with the other Akurians."

Hakaya gave a short annoyed growl.

Fordring raised an eyebrow. "You're going to have the small army of children in your household by the time you guys get finished." she paused. "I will handle the paperwork for your medical situation. I'll also send you a schedule of visits to the doctor, to be sure all is well."

Yamaguchi paused. "Say Teval... Now that more Akurian ships are showing up... Do you think they found the way home for you guys yet?"

Teval shook his head," If they have, I would know about it by now."

Hakaya meanwhile gave Fordring a look. "But I don't like going to sickbay all the time."

Fordring suddenly had visions of arguing with her youngest when Filoan was having her first child and she was protesting that she didn't want to be poked and prodded. "Well... thats... well fine then... I'll simply send someone to see you."

"Yeah, that a much better Idea," Teval replied. Then he went over and hugged and cuddled with his sibling.

Rachael turned to Fordring. "Do you need me for anything further?" she inquired. "I do have a few things I need to get back to."

"No.. I don't have anything for you. Thank you Ms Yamaguchi." and with that, Rachael nodded before she departed. Fordring then turned back to Kashi. "Other then what just happened... is there anything else you need off of me.. before I boot you out of here?"

Kashi shook his head while teval, Hakaya, Karryn and Aerin left on their own Accord.
