Mission:
Mission 67: In The Service of Life and the Living
Location: Various Locations - USS Courageous
Timeline: 1200Hrs - March 4th 2392
Commander Celeste Yamaguchi was taking her time moving slowly down the hallway as she moved toward her destination, she was wearing her dress uniform as she and Hobbs had both decided on something simple and so here she was bugging one of her cousins to handle things for her.
Meanwhile in the Captain's Mess that Torilla had all but demanded the cadet troop help people renovate for a small wedding was looking picture perfect, thanks no doubt to Lieutenant Dwayne Rodriquez.
"Ahh Captain. We're just completing the last of the changes now." Rodriquez reported as Torilla approached the Lieutenant. "Sounds good... Shall we go see what the deck apes.... err I mean cadets have accomplished."
"We shall." the Lieutenant preceded her into the small messhall that could seat thirty people in relative comfort, the room had been transformed into a small chapel.
Yamaguchi smiled as she nodded her head. "Yes... Very nice El Tee.." as she went into the room, just then she heard a voice as she smiled at her cousin. "Celeste... You look like you're ready to pop.."
"I'm still two and a half months shy of my due date..." Celeste complained. "How the hell did you do this five times?"
Torilla smiled as she gently took the hand of the mom-to-be. "You'll get used to it... I assume you want more?"
"Let me handle this one first..." she paused. "Can I get back to you on having any others...?"
"Fair enough..." Yamaguchi smiled at her cousin. "How is James, Daniel and Marie taking the news that they won't be present for this?"
"Not well... they were mollified when I said the reception would take place on the Starbase when all were present.. Mom and Dad are also not too happy either... but thats their issues... not mine.."
"Be careful of the demands of family... you know they run strong Celeste... Don't trifle with them so lightly."
"I know... I'm trying to get out of the family shadow..." Celeste responded.
Meanwhile elsewhere. Sergeant Major Jeff Duval regarded Colonel Hobbs who was standing before him. "You ready Colonel?" he inquired with a soft smile, however it was important to note that Duval almost never smiled.
"Please call me Bri or at least Brianna." She replied. "Even though I'm a member of Star Fleet I do like some civilian informality."
Duval nodded. "I can do that... Brianna." he paused. "Its a little.... odd calling you by name.." he sighed. "So... Shall we go?" he inquired of her.
