With Her Whisper

Posted on Fri Mar 6th, 2020 @ 2:29pm by Division Admiral Sildra Vaxx-Warfield & Grand Admiral April Yamaguchi

Mission: Mission 63: Second Nature
Location: Fleet Admirals Office - Starbase 12
Timeline: 0830Hrs - Feb 13th 2392

Fleet Admiral April Yamaguchi was honestly glad to be home with her husband and children, while being pregnant, she wanted to ensure her other children were comfortable with the two new children who would soon be entering their lives and she wanted Torilla, Kimora and Daniel to be involved with matters of family so they didn't feel excluded or that their mother didn't love them. To April that would be a disaster of epic proportions.

The pregnant woman who was about four months along sighed softly as she heard her doorbell beep at her. "Enter." as April sat up in her chair, while placing her feet on the decking beneath her desk.

The door opened and in walked Sildra Vaxx-Warfield. April could see that something was very wrong in the Kingdom of Vaxx. "What happened to you?" she shrank back ever so slightly. "I feel I should toss a sexual joke in here at this point... but nothing comes to mind..." Yamaguchi added, in a valiant effort to lighten the mood.

"Always with the sexual jokes... You are so predictable... But I got some bad news." Vaxx-Warfield sighed softly before she sniffed gently, she then sat down in a chair across from April Yamaguchi. "Are the kids alright... your husband?"

"No.. no.." Vaxx-Warfield explained. "Its... my sister."

"Your sister.?" Yamaguchi responded, confusion in her tone of voice. "Wait... wasn't she missing for years?"

"She went missing when I was a cadet... I very nearly dropped out of the academy to go looking for her..." Vaxx-Warfield admitted. "My professor of tactical sciences talked me out of it... I'm now glad she did. Otherwise I would have ended up in the same boat as Merris..."

Yamaguchi regarded Vaxx-Warfield in silence, she had a sinking feeling of where this pain train was heading while its brakes were out. "Go on..."

"An Akurian warship just returned her to me." Vaxx-Warfield's eyes were glassy with pain and rage as she had issues explaining, her voice breaking from the emotions raging through her, her face was swollen and puffy due to her crying, her makeup which she always added was now totally ruined.

"At least that mystery is resolved." April responded softly. "They brought her home...What will you do now?"

"I'll take her home to my parents, they deserve to know what happened to their daughter..." Vaxx-Warfield responded softly. "I want to make them pay...I want blood for blood... They will feel our... My Wrath!" as she launched into the explanation of exactly what the Klingons did to her sibling, torture, mutilation abuse before finally being slain for someone's dinner.

Yamaguchi knew exactly what Vaxx-Warfield was talking about. "Computer. Two glasses of Orange punch..." before the pregnant women turned and lifted the two glasses. He held onto one of them before placing the second before Vaxx-Warfield who looked at the glass with confusion in her eyes. "Whats this for.?"

"You need to drink something.. and calm down... The Klingon Empire is about to immolate itself... and you know my forces are busy replaying themselves for a major operation into Klingon space.." she watched in silence as Vaxx-Warfield simply lifted the glass and drained it all in one smooth motion. April was silently impressed as she would usually take a moment to enjoy it.

"I know... But it doesn't help.." Vaxx-Warfield sighed softly. "I feel... anger and hate for them... for what they did to my blood.."

"I never said it had to.." April gently came around the desk before she gently took the smaller Bolian female over to the sofa, where April sat down before she gently hauled the smaller female onto her lap, she then curled her arms around her. "It'll be okay Sildra." as she gently rubbed the smaller woman's back in an attempt to comfort her.

Vaxx-Warfield rested her head on April's shoulder as she slid her own arms around her friend's shoulders before she burst into tears. April gently held the smaller woman against her as if she were a child and not an adult who needed a shoulder to cry on.

April didn't say anything else as nothing really needed to be said. Vaxx-Warfield simply cried for her lost sister whose death was a mercy rather then a punishment.
