| Personal History | Sildra Vaxx-Warfield was born on the Bolian Homeworld in 2352, she was the younger sister of two girls, their parents were civilians and wanted little to do with Starfleet as they were looking to settle a new colony, in this case, it was on Kaldir. The main moon of Milos IV. Kaldir ranks among the coldest terrestrial locations in Federation space. Its gaseous upper atmosphere repels heat, blocks out most sunlight that might reach the surface and produces flash-freezes that occur with barely a moment's warning, and coincide with immense temperature drops which can kill just as quickly. Ursadons and a species of extremophilic bacteria that serve as their energy source are the only two indigenous life-forms of significance that have been discovered on Kaldir to date. This hellish frozen world was where Sildra would grow up, having a very healthy respect for various planets and their climates but when Sildra came of age, she went off to the academy and surprised everyone by going into weapons and tactical rather than Science as everyone expected. Sildra's elder sister, Merris disappeared around this time and no explanation was provided for over twenty years but Sildra almost went looking for her, what she did not know was had she done so, she would have been kidnapped too by the same men who had taken her sibling. Sildra learned a great deal at the academy, including the art of war and over the four years, she was a model student and did not spend much time partying as many of her classmates did. When she graduated, she graduated near the top of her class, with her graduation secured. Sildra went off to her first assignment. The USS Prokofiev was an older Ambassador class starship and it was in great need of her skills, in wartime efforts against the Klingons, the Borg, the Cardassians and the Dominion. During the war with the Dominion. Sildra was reassigned to the USS Hood after the battle of Chin'Toka. It was here where she would end the war but when the Dominion surrendered, she requested a transfer citing war and combat fatigue and her request was granted so off she went to the USS Prince of Wales where she was able to relax and center herself during her assignment here. It was also during her assignment here that she would meet the human who would later become her mate, Gabriel Warfield and when the two began dating, they both knew that if they wanted children they would both need assistance from other people, another human and another Bolian but they both decided they would look into it. Requesting assistance, both Gabriel and Sildra contributed two children each to their family, with assistance from two close friends. Sildra ended up getting reassigned a few more times before she was offered command of the USS Warspite, a Sovereign class Starship but her real skill was in commanding bases. However in order to continue with her career, she would need to leave the Warspite and gain command of a base, so she stuck in for assignment to one. Starbase Lya Station Alpha came up and Sildra accepted, so off she went to command the starbase. She remained here for seven years before she was requested by Fleet Admiral April Yamaguchi to come to command her base, the small Bolian accepted the assignment, eventually moving to Starbase 12 and then onto Starbase Vanguard a couple of years later. During the short but violent war with the Klingons and the Gorn in 2392. Merris Vaxx finally reappeared but she was being served as food to the leader of a Klingon house. she had spent twenty years being tormented, tortured and abused and finally, she was slain, all for the pleasure of Ke'Tevek himself, the deranged and mad leader of the Klingon house with his name. In response to this and other crimes, the Federation-allied forces destroyed his house, his holdings and almost the entire planet he was living on. The middle of 2393 found Syldra Vaxx-Warfield commanding Starbase Vanguard with her family present, however, Sildra is struggling with the losses she has sustained and she wants vengence for the murder and suffering of her sibling. |
