Mission: Mission 61: The Blood-Dimmed Tide
Location: The Niven System
Timeline: 1400Hrs - January 24th, 2392

Kralasha sat on the bridge of the IKS Hurgh maS. She was running from House Tevek warships after she raided their factory and liberated several prisoners. She hide her anxiousness from the rest of the crew. Finally, Ktala spoke up.

"I have a Federation ship in the sames system." She announced.

"Hail them." Kralasha ordered.

Meanwhile on the bridge of the USS Ericsson. Commander Carrie Hawkwood was seated in her chair as the Ericsson was helping with picket duty, a job she didn't mind as it was quiet or rather it used to be.

Since that Klingon Fleet turned out to be a refugee fleet that had shown up, she had ordered all emissions controlled from her ship and she had passed her recommendations along to Captain Siranna who had acted on them.

"Hey Skipper, we're being hailed." Chief John Munroe said aloud.

"On screen please... Let me see who wants help this time." Hawkwood responded before a picture of a Klingon Captain appeared on her screen. "I'm Commander Carrie Hawkwood of the USS Ericsson, What can I help you with?" she inquired.

"I am Captain Kralasha, daughter of Askada. My ship is carrying forty two Ferasians. They may wish asylum in Federation space. I would also ask that our ship be allowed to intern at a Star Fleet base." Kralasha told Hawkwood.

Hawkwood peered at the Klingon female as she felt she had encountered her somewhere before. "I'll have to contact my own superiors... for now however go ahead and enter orbit... the ship that's handling the Ferasians is the Akurian battleship. Valikir's Flame."
Hawkwood paused. "Your contact is a guy named Nevanzi."

"We will move into orbit and wait." Kralasha.

"Very well.." Hawkwood. "I could ask why Captain but.... I won't.." she paused. "Welcome to the Federation.." she paused. "Nevanzi is on one of the Akurian ships..."

"Akurian?" Kralasha asked. "Are they part of the Federation?"

"They are allied to us.. But no, they are not members." Hawkwood responded.

Kralasha gave a quick nod to Hawkwood before breaking contact. She then turned to Kolkar, "Take B'iarra and a medic to the Ferasians. Tell them they are to be transferred to these..." Kralasha searched for the name, "Akurians."

Kolkar nodded before exiting the bridge. He assembled B'iarra and two other marines along with a medic before going to the cargo hold. He opened the cargo doors and entered. "Is there a leader among you?" He asked.

Most of the Ferasians looked at eachother, and after a moment one of the braver ones, a female tiger type named O'kiar stepped forward," Um we don't really have much of a leader, but I guess i can do it, what is it?"

"We have brought you into Federation space." He told her. "The Federation wishes to turn you over to a group called the Akurians. Get ready to be moved."

O'kiar nodded, hoping the Klingons where telling the truth, but she saw that neither her, nor any of the other Ferasians had much of a choice so they all chose to follow.

"We will return when the Akurians arrive." Kolkar told them before leaving. He tapped his comm badge. "Kolkar to bridge, they have been alerted."

"Acknowledged Kolkar." Kralasha acknowledged. "Ensign Gedlr, hail the Akurians."

One of the Akurian comm officers noticed the subspace radio was beeping. Assuming it was for Nevanzi, the young Jorkuri got Nevanzi's attention. Nevanzi picked up the handmic, saying. "This is commodore Nevanzi."

"This is Kralasha of the IKS Hurgh maS. The Star Fleet officer told us that you would be interested in taking our Ferasians." She told him.

Nevanzi looked at Uzara, then replied. "Alright, yeah, go ahead and beam them to my battleship's Observation deck." Nevanzi quickly sent the Hurgh Mas a text message indicating the coordinates. " Our ships armor does tend to interfere with transporter beams so the observation deck is really the only reliable spot you can beam them in."

Gedlr looked over to Kralasha. "That sounds a bit odd. We could be transporting them right into the ship's shields."

"Not our concern." Kralasha told her. "Follow their instructions." Gedlr nodded and did as he was told.

Nevanzi waited a few moments as the Ferasians where beamed into the observation deck, then once they where in he said to the Klingons," OK, we got them, is there anything else you want."

Carrie Hawkwood turned her head. "Whats the status of the Klingon vessal?"

"Its just sitting there sir." came the response.

"Okay." Hawkwood responded dryly.

"IKS Hurgh maS to Star Fleet, we now request to be interned in Federation space." Kralasha requested.

Hawkwood was the one that responded. "Thats fine.. But we can do you one better... I assume you speak for your entire crew Captain?"

"Your assumption would be correct." Kralasha answered cautiously.

"Excellent... I am going to assume that the Akurians will be going in to retrieve more slaves... If you wish for battle. why not join them and liberate these slaves and hurt your houses enemies, that way.. we all win... except your enemies."

"Is there an officer I can liaison with?" Kralasha asked. "I would also like to discuss this with a Starfleet officer."

Hawkwood nodded. "Thats fine." she responded. "You can hail the Roanoke and ask for their Colonial Liaison Officer. Commander Wintersnow can assist you further." she paused. "I am a Starfleet officer." she added. "I command the USS Ericsson."

"Thank you Captain, I will contact the Roanoke." Kralasha replied.

"Understood. Thanks for bringing them in."
