Mission: Mission 57: The Northern Lights
Location: USS Stalingrad / USS Argonne
Timeline: 0900Hrs - December 29th, 2391

Captain Marie Yamaguchi smiled as she was sitting in her command chair, wearing her normal duty uniform as her assignment was a simple one, resupply the USS Argonne with all of their various needs, new gear and new weapons along with a battalion of Marine replacements to fill out their ranks.

Yamaguchi turned to her left where her Marine Commanding Officer was presently sitting, a PADD in his hands as he regarded his Commanding officer with a soft smile on his face while he enjoyed the view. "Penny for your thoughts Colonel."

"I was just enjoying the view skipper." Harry Stamper smiled.

Marie smiled back at him. "Most people want to talk it away.." she responded as Commander Ken Noros chuckled softly. "We're approaching the Niven system."

Marie nodded her head. "Alright... Bring us out of warp.." she paused. "Hail the Argonne please?"

"Hailing them now skipper." responded the voice of Jarris M'kresst. Marie turned to Noros. "Is the Tranquility in the system?"

"They are.." Noros smiled back. "Sohnaxx can go visit her daughter."

"Sir, Argonne is responding, on screen." M'kresst said as the massive Caitian put the Vulcan officer up on the screen.

"Greetings Captain, your are on schedule." Sorvok informed Yamaguchi.

"Thank you... We will enter orbit shortly and begin transferring across the supplies and the like for you." Ken Noros responded as Marie rose to her feet. "Number one, you gonna be alright with this?"

"Give your family my regards Captain. I already let the Admiral know.."

"Thank you. Where are they meeting me?"

"Transporter room four." Noros responded evenly. "

"Excellent. The ship is yours." and with that Marie turned and departed the bridge of the Stalingrad. Ken Noros turned back to the viewscreen as he regarded the Vulcan Captain. "Is there anything special we need to know about your supply situation that must be remedied first?"

"Nothing unorthodox, everything is operating under what would be normal conditions." Sorvok coolly replied.

"I understand." Noros responded as he looked at his Operations Officer. "We will commence transporting the supplies.. and we will send your replacement marines and their gear too." Noros responded.

"Thank you Commander." Sorvok replied. "Before my current assignment I was an officer in the logistic fleet. I appreciate your crew's efforts."

Captain Dalton Calhoun looked around the Roanoke's transporter room after getting beamed over. He looked at the tech running the transporter. "Excuse me crewman, call the marine armory and have a marine report up ASAP." Calhoun ordered.

The tech looked at the Captain, "Why?"

"I'll excuse your poor discipline and lack of military bearing because you are not a marine." Calhoun shot back. "That wasn't a request. Do it now."

The tech just shrugged and called down for the armory for a marine to be sent up. Moments latter Harrak toting an assualt phaser arrived and reported to the tech. "You needed me?" She asked, unsure why she was called.

"Not me, the Captain." The tech replied.

Harrak looked at the Captain, "What do you need?"

Calhoun looked down his nose at Harrak. "I'm your superior, you will address me as Sir."

"Um, okay....Sir. What do you need?" Harrak replied with a touch of obstinate in her voice.

"You certainly are a poor excuse for a marine." Calhoun told her. "I can see you will need a healthy dose of discipline. Now, sling your weapon and gather up my bags."

"Why would I gather up your bags?" Harrak asked.

"So you lack intelligence and discipline?" Calhoun responded. "You'll pick up my bags and carry them to my quarters."

"I'm not your donkey!" Harrak replied. "Why can't you carry them."

Calhoun became incensed. "Officers do not do manual labor! Now collect up my luggage and follow me." He told her as he headed off.

Harrak and the tech exchanged a confused look. "Now Private!" Calhoun shouted. Harrak, still unsure picked up the bags and followed Calhoun. "By the makers your stupid." Calhoun told Harrak. "I can see your going to be my own personnel project."

After making their way to Calhoun's quarters Harrak dropped off the luggage before Calhoun dismissed her. He made his way to Daisy's office. He entered after chiming and Daisy beckoned him in.

"Major," Calhoun stood at attention. "Captain Calhoun, reporting for duty."

"You can relax Captain." Daisy told him. "We aren't at the Academy. Also you can call me Daisy."

Calhoun snorted in contempt. "Yes, Major." He ignored her request. "I would request the position of Battalion Executive Officer."

"While I like your drive your not qualified to fill that position yet Captain." Daisy politely replied.

"I am a Captain and all my performance reviews are high." Calhoun almost sounded like correcting her.

"That said the position is going to be filled by another officer." Daisy replied.

"I see." Calhoun replied. "I'll be off to my company then." He then saluted and left.

Daisy just shook her head as he left. "I'm glad to be off this ship soon." She told herself.
