Mission: Mission 98: Building Our New Home
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 0900Hrs - June 28th, 2393

Commander Tienn Kerris was presently seated in one of the lounges in the Starbase, she wanted a quiet lunch with her husband who was seated across from her. She gave him a rather zesty grin as she gently shrugged off her uniform top and while she left the tank top on, it revealed her finely toned looks and the femaleness, it was obvious that she was quite well endowed, their eldest child was fifteen years old and all of them were teenagers ranging in ages from fifteen to ten years of age, they were all different and all demanding in their own ways.

Tienn Kerris was the first of her sisters to have children as she had the fortune to meet her spouse first. It was random chance but in the end, the two were able to make a relationship work between them. The coolness of the air in the room made her smile as she felt herself begin to cool off. Tienn tended to overheat easily, her husband knew this.

"Are you okay?" Suvek asked his spouse.

"Just overheating, you'd think they could design a uniform when I don't overheat," Tienn responded with a smile, she then took a sip of her drink before she lifted her hand calling one of the waiters over, she requested a refill of their drinks. "How long do you think we'll be on leave like this?"

"Who knows," Suvek answered, a gentle smile on his lips, while he might have been Vulcan, he had mind-melded with her enough times to know how emotions worked and he could integrate them into his own mannerisms without losing focus, he knew his wife's body just as well as she did. That's why he trounced her so easily in card games and chess whenever they played, he could always read her tells and she knew it too. "We will be on leave until command remembers about us and then we'll head back into the field, but for now I am content to sit here beside you and eat dinner and then take you to the beach so we can have fun."

Tienn grinned at her husband. "I recall how things went the last time we had fun in the sand. I remember walking funny for a week. Ezas swears by it and Nerra, well that girl is just hard up, all the time. I swear I don't know how her mate tolerates her."

"He does because he enjoys her company," Suvek answered with a nod. "Besides. I am sure he doesn't mind helping her with affairs of family." the Vulcan explained.

"She has two children of her own, she has something like six Caitian children, one of whom is bigger then she is and she told me she wanted another baby."

"She clearly loves her time with her husband," Suvek responded. "What about you?. Did you make that decision yet?"

"Yes, my time in security is finished. I want a first officers posting. Then we can discuss another child if you are so inclined." Tienn commented. "I know the work will be great fun."

"I do look forward to it," Suvek answered with a nod. "I know you have been considering it for many months now," he added.

"Yes. I have." she paused. "We could have taken in Iteela's babies but Nebris's sister did that before I could." Tienn sighed softly. "Iteela seems to be cursed when it comes to relationships, the last one with Gyce imploded because work separated them and kept them apart for way too long and this second one with Nebris, they seemed to be working it out... But I didn't see. What the Khost went wrong?" Tienn lamented softly.

"They had a communication problem exacerbated by their home life, she had two dogs who would have seen him as a threat to her and they had two children well before either was ready to be a full-time parent," Suvek explained. "Our relationship had its bumps and bruises but we waited." he then smiled at her.

"I'm glad we did, even though your pon-far was a shock. When is your next one?" she suddenly asked him. "Just so I know," Tienn added with a rather evil grin.

"My next pon-far will occur sometime in the next eighteen months," Suvek answered evenly.

"Good," Tienn answered. "At least we will have time to prepare," Tienn answered with a rather lusty smile. "Hopefully we'll both have our new assignments by then," she commented as she finished her drink before she went back to her food when suddenly the com system beeped at them both. "Operations to Commander Tienn?"

Tienn raised an eyebrow as she regarded her husband. "Which Tienn do they want? where are two of us present on the Starbase?" as she proceeded to tapped her combadge. "Tienn here, go ahead."

"Commander." came the voice of someone who Tienn couldn't recognize. "Your presence and that of your husband are both requested in Captain Yamaguchi's office in ten minutes." came the response.

"Understood." as Tienn growled softly. "We'll be there." she sighed as she tapped her combadge. "Finish your food husband. I am not letting the bastard computer system cheat me out of breakfast," she added. "I'm told that I don't eat enough as it is. I don't need to make my situation worse."

Suvek meanwhile was already working on his food as he was working on his burger, he was a man who would readily eat meat if it were on the table, sometimes he preferred a salad but other times he wanted a more varied diet and today, he was eating a large burger and fries. Moments after Tienn had said her comment, his plate was empty as Tienn finished wolfing down her burger, before she turned her attention to the fries on her plate. "What. I'm hungry."

"I noticed," Suvek answered a gentle nod of his head accompanied his statement.

Tienn finished her food and washed it down with the last of the juice in her drink. Tienn and Suvek both knew the meal would be credited to their accounts as they both rose to their feet and departed quickly. Tienn raised an eyebrow. "Computer, what's the location of Fleet Captain Yamaguchi's office?" she inquired.

"Captain Yamaguchi ls located on level fifty-one, section five, subsection fourteen." came the half-expected answer.

Tienn smiled. "Okay," she commented. "I wonder why Captain Yamaguchi wants me for.?" she commented.

"We shall soon find out Tienn, there is no sense in guessing when we simply don't know what's happening." he then regarded her as he walked one pace behind her. "Still, maybe she wants you to head back into the field with her."

"As an officer among her senior staff. I don't mind but you're coming with, I am not going to let her grab me and not snag you too." Tienn answered. "Stop staring at my ass," she added as if reading his mind.

"I do not need to 'stare', as you so bluntly put it, my wife. Besides, you have a nice ass." Suvek answered, his deadpan dry humor coming out.

Tienn regarded him over her shoulder. "Stop that," she whispered softly. "You won't have any time to finish what you start and I do not need to be hard up before seeing Captain Yamaguchi. if she is anything like I've heard that I need to be clear-headed and a hundred percent, besides we can do that on the beach later."

"I look forward to it," Suvek answered, a ghost of a smile playing at his lips.
