Mission: Mission 50: This Grey Spirit
Location: Various Locations - Battlecruiser Ryazar's Shield
Timeline: 1300Hrs - November 18th, 2391

Division Admiral Talon Yamaguchi was sitting in the main command center, her feet up at a console as she wore a pair of shorts and a tank top, her eyes were closed as she sighed happily. "This is almost too good to be true.."

"Hows that sir?" Ensign Ryan Jackson commented. "The report you asked for... more of the same, the Iconian Gateway can't be moved.. its somehow become stuck to the deck plating"

"Okay, is it dangerous?" Talon inquired while she sat down, before taking his PADD off of him for her inspection.

"Nope... we can't move it." Jackson shrugged.

"Ahh... Who cares.. Besides.. its an improvement on its present location." Talon responded.

"Sir... Admiral Sloane would like a word?"

Talon sighed. "Fine.." and with that the older woman sighed as she activated the display. "Admiral?"

"Have you made progress in getting my technology back?"

"Yes I have." Talon answered. "Your technology is in the mail, you should get it tomorrow morning." Talon explained. "The newest report from the Iconian Gateway is throwing off mixed signals.. We're working on it."

"I demand results." Sloane snapped.

"Yes yes yes. We've been here for four days... We're working on being able to stop time." Talon responded. "The Iconian Gateway keeps uploading false data to us soooo... We're having minor issues."

"I demand my technology back Admiral and not excuses!" Sloane snapped. "Stop fucking your people and get back to work!" and with that the screen went black.

Talon sighed. "By the gods..... I think they are starting to vex me so." she looked over at Ryuukei. "Did you hear any of that?"

Ryuukei's ear twitched. "These big fluffy ears on my head aren't there to just accentuate my cuteness."

"Yeah. She's getting irritating..." Talon responded. "She wants me to yell about the Iconian Gateway again." before Talon yawned. "God. that woman puts me to sleep."

Ensign Ryan Jackson smiled. "Well... I'll be sure not to note that in my report."

"Off with you Ensign. Let me finish my nap.." Talon commented before she gently ran her fingers through Ryuukei's fur. "The guys I brought with me are making progress... on what... I'm not sure.." she shrugged. "Still, they are keeping out of trouble and that suits me fine...."

Arumi walked over and sat down next to Ryuukei, saying," Well if she so desperately wants information on the Iconian gateway, I say we give it to her."

Talon raised an eyebrow. "We have nothing to give her." she commented lightly. "Just more theories." she paused. "Wait...what are you suggesting?"

Arumi gave an innocent smile, curling her tail around her, looking adorable in the process, she added," I'm just saying, she wants information, I say we give it to her, give her a little more than what she bargained for."

Talon smiled darkly. "Mmm... This appeals to me on a rather primal level." as she fought not to laugh. "Sure. Lets do it."

Arumi looked over at Kasana, whom had an innocent looking smile, and said," Kasana, You know what to do."

Kasana nodded and disappeared from the bridge. 10 minutes later she returned with the padd in hand and gave it the the federation chief science officer. "Here, send this message to admiral Sloan."

Beth Woerner came over, before she accepted the PADD. "Shall I send your compliments too?"

Talon regarded the smaller frenchwoman. "Mmm... Ahh.. Tell her whatever you like"

"Of course sir. I will inform her that I wish to bed her." as the smaller human woman turned away, a rather evil smile on her face.

None of the Akurians really got what Talon meant by the comment, so Kasana asked. "Um, forgive me for not understanding human humor, but what do you mean by that."

Talon raised an eyebrow before she gently petted the smaller being. "Uhh.... Don't worry about it. Some things are best left.. unknown." she responded.

Arumi cuddled with Ryuukei, while Tezika walked into the bridge. Quietly and with little warning, Tezika pounced on her sibling, Kasana, bringing them both to the ground. "Hey Tezika," Kasana commented.

Tezika's tail waived in the air and she licked Kasana. She then looked up at Ryuukei and added. "Well I think we may be finally starting t get somewhere with that Iconian gate."

Ryuukei nodded. "Nice."

Talon nodded her head. "My Engineers are making themselves useful to you, I hope."

Tezika looked up at Talon. "Yep, they have been helpful so far, though they tend to have a bit of disregard for personal safety."

"Mmm." Talon paused. "I'll talk to them about it."

Ryuukei shook his head. "With the way that most federation technology is designed, safety seems to be the least of starfleet's concerns."

Talon blinked her eyes. "Safety and Starfleet sometimes do not mix.." she shrugged.

Tezika leaned her head on her hand. "Yeah, I'm noticing."

Talon regarded the smaller being as she slowly nodded her head. "Then... We should teach my guys how you guys operate safely." she explained. "We are supposed to be working together after all... learning from each other." she added.

Tezika rolled onto her back, and looking adorable she replied," Well first off I would suggest that the federation needs to design its equipment with safer standards, but it seems that with ships like dreamcrusher, you guys are starting to head in the right direction. I cant believe though that starfleet ships actually have problems with consoles exploding and killing crew members. That just seems so crazy."

Talon regarded her as she made no noises in response or excuses for poor decisions which only seem to heighten excitement in battle. "Well... What can I say?" she then shrugged. "They only started getting stupid around Twenty Three Sixty Six... and they got stupid about fifteen years ago.." she responded. "I've had a few consoles explode on me for no reason over my career. Besides... One must wonder... just how any of us survive to procreate... or even the first day at the academy.." Talon sighed. "Besides... some people are retarded and I won't make excuses for them."

Tezika didn't say anything further, instead just cuddling with her sibling.

Talon paused. "Alright... anything further we should discuss?" she inquired.

Both Tezika and Kasana shrugged. "I got nothing."

"Alright.." Talon smiled. "Well.. I'd best go check in with my guys and see what they need.." she paused. "call me if something comes up."
