Mission: Mission 50: This Grey Spirit
Location: Various Locations - USS Tranquility
Timeline: 1000Hrs - November 18th, 2391

Newly promoted Commander Siaxx Dvald was sitting on her bridge, the ship was progressing towards the colony that needed to be evacuated of all its Federation personnel and while Siaxx herself was expecting only a few complications, she would leave nothing to chance as she would have all of her personnel prepared, including herself to deal with whatever might arise.

She turned to her Executive officer, a Human woman named Tressa Riken with the rank of Lieutenant, the downside was that Siaxx knew that she was only here on temporary assignment but Siaxx was quietly hoping that this could change. "So... You think we're ready Tressa?"

The human woman who was not much taller or more massive then Siaxx herself was, nodded her head as she smiled warmly at her commanding officer. "Yes. I do." she answered softly, her dusky tones coloring her voice with its accented tones. "Crew morale is good and they are ready for anything."

"Nice." Siaxx smiled back, she couldn't help but find her mood improving thanks to her temporary Exec's statement as the Operations Officer turned her head, the Andorian regarded Siaxx. "Captain, you have an incoming message from Starbase Watchman, its marked as personal."

Siaxx frowned, she rose to her feet as she nodded her head. "Tressa, the bridge is yours... Pipe it through to my ready room please Sasha."

"Willdo sir." the Andorian responded as Siaxx walked off the bridge, heading to her ready room, she moved to sit behind her desk, taking a moment to compose herself as she was clearly expecting bad news. One of her sisters was assigned there.

When she had differently calmed herself, she tapped the display, the face of her sister appeared. "Siaxx.." Theris greeted her.

Siaxx smiled back at her older sister. "Theris... Whats up?"

"Well, this isn't exactly a social call.... You recall Colonel Lucas Nye?"

Flashes of their encounter flashed through Siaxx's mind as she struggled to compose herself. "Jill swore she would kill him for what he said to me..." the smallest Dvald said softly. "He scared me to death with his threats."

"Well... I like Jill.. If this was her handiwork that is..." Theris responded. "Where was Jill over the last couple of days?"

"Wait... What?" Siaxx inquired. "Theris... If you are accusing my wife of murder!" Siaxx growled.

"I am not accusing her of anything.... But I know that others will... Colonel Nye is dead, he was assassinated."

"Oh.." Siaxx paused. "Theris, you need to work on your delivery of good news.."

Theris chuckled softly as she smiled at her sister. "Okay... Hows this... You're going to be an aunt... I'm pregnant!"

"Now thats better Theris." she paused. "Wait what!"

The older Bolian female laughed at her. "No I'm very serious... and Drass proposed to me when I told him" Theris smiled. "We're working out dates and times."

Siaxx was overjoyed for her sister. "Thats wonderful news!. Let me know when and where and my merry band will be there... I'll see to it that Aryssa is there too."

"Aryssa?" Theris frowned. "Who's that?"

"My wife's daughter from a previous...." she waved her hand a few times. "shall we say... a product of rape."

Theris's eyes opened wide. "What!" she snarled. "We protect our own, anyone who lays a hand on your wife will answer to the rest of us.."

Siaxx smiled. "I will make sure to tell Jill you said that... Tell me... What do you know of Phoenix Sullivan?"

"Well... wait hold it... you married 'that' Phoenix?"

"I did... or more to the point, she married me." Siaxx responded.

"Her file reads like a holonovel.." Theris responded. "and now... she's my sister in law. Our family can always use more scary bad-asses."

Siaxx laughed at that statement. "When this assignment is over. We need to get the family together... I mean all of us, you, me, mom, dad... all of us..."

Theris smiled eagerly. "Now that would be wonderful." she regarded her sibling, she shared many of Siaxx's looks as did all of her sisters.
"Leave things with me, I'll make arrangements and I'll keep you posted okay?"

"Sounds food to me." Siaxx smiled at her sister. "Its good to hear from you..."

"You as well... I'd best get back to this autopsy as its not going to handle itself. "

The two made their farewells and shortly the screen was back as Siaxx sat back in her chair, deep in thought. "You will never hurt anyone else ever again Colonel Nye... Not me or anyone else...."

Shonax hopped up onto the desk as he meowed at her, she smiled as she gently ran her hand through his fur as she gently petted him behind his ears. "You feeling okay?"

Shonax complained loudly as he sat down before her. Siaxx gently picked him up as she gently cuddled with him, he brushed the end of her nose with his own. "Meow."

Siaxx smiled as she made herself comfortable, things on the bridge were well in hand and she knew that if something went wrong, they would call her.
