Mission: Mission 49: The Stars Look Down
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1200Hrs - November 10th, 2391

Captain Torilla Yamaguchi walked into sickbay carrying a small case in her hands. "Hey guys..." she addressed everyone in range. "Anyone seen Nalla?"

Sokanon regarded her as she blinked her large feline eyes. "She's in Recovery room three. With the Admiral."

"Alright. Thanks." and with that Torilla made her way to where Nalla would be located, in the same place she was for the last four days, she must be blaming herself for what happened to Jake. Torilla came to realize this.

Torilla tapped the door chime, before she settled in to wait.

"It's open," Nalla called out.

Torilla touched the 'release' button before she slipped through the door. "Hey Nalla... How is he?" she inquired of her husband who was still sleeping.

"He is stable," Nalla answered as she look guiltily at her feet. Her head throbbed something fierce, and she wore shades to help with the bright lights.

"Computer dim the lights to forty percent of normal." Torilla commented. "How are you doing Nalla?" she inquired. "Do not blame yourself for what happened... It wasn't your fault.."

"Everything still hurts," Nalla answered quietly. "He's him... but not him... I am very confused."

Torilla nodded her head. "Nalla.." she said quietly. "Lets go over here where we can talk.. I have a few things to share with you." as she gently touched Nalla on the shoulder.

Nalla gave a subtle nod. Autopilot mainly, as she walked with Torilla.

Torilla sat down in a chair as she gently sat Nalla down next to her rather then in her lap. "Nalla... the Torilla involved with the incident... was not me." she explained. "There are now... Two Torilla Yamaguchi's floating around... myself.. and Commander Unal... It was her that you mated with... you received her memories.... of her Jake..." Torilla paused. "I heard he... was...not the same as my Jake."

"He was... bad," Nalla admitted as an innocent child would. "Worse than my Matron Mother."

"I can well imagine it." Torilla gently rubbed Nalla's shoulders. "Have you talked with the other Torilla at all since that incident four days ago?"

Nalla shook her head. "She... scares me."

"I think... This is hitting her as hard as it did for me." Torilla explained softly. "You can share those memories with me.... If you wish.." she gently soothed Nalla the way she would for one of her own children. "You feel up to spending a little time with my cats?" Torilla inquired with a smile. "I have two King Shepherds too. You'll love them."

"I like your cats," Nalla spoke with a nod.

Torilla gently ran her hand over her husband's chest while she closed her eyes, it was a caress from loving spouse to lost husband. "Come back to me Jake... I can't handle all this alone.." she whispered. "Noble Team misses you, so do the dogs and the twins too."

"I am sorry I messed him up," Nalla spoke as a hurt child would, ridden with guilt.

Torilla shifted her attention from her sleeping husband to the smaller Deltan woman in the room. "Nalla, do not blame yourself for the misdeeds of others... Look on this.. as a lesson in life.. you shared with him something you once shared only with me." she smiled warmly at the other woman. "He will come back...." she gently rubbed Nalla's shoulder. "Lets get out of here.... have one of your nurses come in and keep an eye on him.... and you can spend time with the cats."

"That would be nice, yes," Nalla agreed and walked with Torilla. "No bright lights. They hurt my eyes."

"I know... the twins are in daycare." Yamaguchi responded as the two emerged into the regular sickbay, one of the nurses approached. "Doctor." before she went into the small recovery room to check on the Admiral.

Yamaguchi regarded Furban. "Come on. Lets get outta here."
