Mission: Mission 49: The Stars Look Down
Location: Various Locations - USS Spirit of Winter
Timeline: 0800Hrs - November 10th, 2391

Lieutenant Savannah Yamaguchi walked down the hall towards sickbay, she groaned softly as her body shifted. "Uhh... oww.." she found herself tripping over her own feet, but before she could faceplant herself into the decking of the corridor, she found herself suddenly being hauled upright as another officer or someone wearing the uniform had caught her.

"Hey..." Savannah grunted softly in pain as she found herself face to face with a Klingon woman she didn't know, her eyes widened somewhat in surprise. "Umm... I ummm.."

"Be at ease Lieutenant. I mean you no harm... I will assist you." the unknown woman said to her as Savannah blinked her eyes. "Who are you?"

"I am Ajal.." she responded. "and you are?"

"Savannah Yamaguchi, Chief Science Officer."

"Yamaguchi, any relation to Autumn?"

Savannah shook her head. "Not from my branch of the tree.. I think she's one of my cousins twice removed."

"Twice removed... How does someone remove a cousin from the family line except from discommendating them or killing them.?"

Savannah smiled. "Its to do with lineage. In order of who was born first, in this case its April as she is the oldest, then coral, then Heather then Talon and last Jake and my kin... because the generation before us has their order, we too in our generation have our order and our children with have their order."

Ajal nodded, taking it all in as she listened to what the smaller woman had to say as she gently helped the other woman down the hallway towards sickbay. "It sounds needlessly complicated and overly complex, one is kin... what matters is who they are in relation to me and little else." Ajal shrugged. "like Autumn."

Savanah raised an eyebrow. "You and Autumn know each other... from a previous assignment I assume?"

"Yes. Indeed... from her time among the ships, she served as Chief Medical Officer on the IKS Hurgh'maS... She was highly skilled,. a credit to your clan and kin."

Savannah found she had no words to say to that before the two women entered sickbay.

A nurse came over to assist Savannah to a biobed. "Easy Nurse." Ajal said quietly. "I think she tore something."

"You're not kidding." the medic responded as the two helped Savannah onto a bed.

"Can I assist you?" the nurse said while she opened her kit, she produced her tricorder as Ajal shook her head. "No. I am unhurt. I assisted the Lieutenant." she indicated Savannah as she spoke with a gentle wave of her right hand. "Here to sickbay

"Okay, thanks. I got it from here." she paused. "Why don't you go stand over there."

Ajal withdrew towards the area indicated and stood, she began to wait for the next available medic or doctor to come and see to her various needs.

Renhai was busy conversing with her grandson Ryuukei and Akaris when the nurse came and got their attention. Walking out of her office Renhai asked. "O.K. who needs attention first."

Ajal regarded the small being who was speaking to her. "I do." she responded. "I have been asked to report to sickbay for my coming aboard physical and a nutritional supplement.."

The door opened as a Caitian walked through the door. He took one look at Ajal as he hissed loudly at her. Ajal blinked as she shrunk back from him. "Do I ..... You.." she hissed softly. "You honorless Dog, How Dare you show your face to me...!" she snarled.

"Silence To'Pah!" R'Merah snapped back at her. "You couldn't stand up for your girlfriend... you couldn't stand up for yourself... I should deal with you in the manner that you deserve!" he hissed at her.

Ajal blinked her large eyes. "You... are without honor... After what you did to Autumn..." she said softly. "You dare call yourself a man!"

"Okay. Okay... break it up you two." Savannah Yamaguchi responded from two beds away. "Some of us are trying to heal.."

"Silence human..." R'Merah snapped at her.

Ajal braced her two forearms together before she quite deliberately turned her back to him, in silence but her statement was noticed by everyone in sickbay.

"Doctor..." Ajal greeted the small being before her. "Can we do this... away from... it?" she indicated the Caitian who was growling softly at her.

The door opened moments later as Lt Commander Autumn Yamaguchi came into sickbay. "Mornin-Oh" she paused as she noticed the large Caitian male. "You...."

"Ahh... I was wondering where you had gotten to."

"You got some nerve Caitian.." Autumn said quietly. "I'll come back later." and with that, the small human woman turned and departed.

"Whats with all of the little housepets around here." the Caitian muttered.

Ajal facepalmed. "By Khaless!. STOP Talking... thank you." she raised her voice loudly.

Ryuukei heard all the commotion and walked out of the office, while Renhai gave the new arrival the glare, noticing the security orange on his uniform," You, take a hike."

The Caitian male growled down at Renhai. "How dare you speak to-" and that was when Ajal bashed him with her elbow then she turned and smashed her first into the pointy end of his nose, she then grasped him with her hands, before she spun him and with a none too gentle shove, she almost hurled him out of the sickbay and into the hallway. "This is not over Klingon... You ass is-" as the door closed, ending his tirade.

Ajal shivered. "I.... Hate him..." she hissed softly. "My apologies..." she added as she regarded the smaller being.

Renhai crossed her arms, saying, " Well, As much as you klingons love to fight, I would appreciate it if you take it outside of my sickbay." She then tapped her com badge, saying," Renhai to Bernadette, one of your security chief's started trouble down here, can you come and pick his ass up."

Bernadette, responded, mildly annoyed," On my way."

Renhai then looked back at Ajal," Now, I don't know what problem's you and your caitian friend have had before, nor do I care, you will not have your problems in my sickbay, got it."

"Yes. I understand." Ajal responded quietly, as she looked down at the small being. "In any event... Now that our morning has been totally trashed... I am here for my physical... and my dietary requirements." the taller Klingon woman explained, while keeping a straight face, trying not to smile as she greatly enjoyed punching the Caitian in the face.

"You enjoyed that." Savannah came over to the Klingon.

"I have no idea what you are talking about." Ajal answered with a smile.

"You broke his nose, he was patronizing you and you stomped on his tail... In my opinion, he deserved it." Savannah responded.

Ajal paused, she had no good response for that.

Renhai pulled up her medical tricorder, while one of the nurse's went to go fetch the relevant supplements, it was not lost on her than Ajal was being far more polite than the usual klingon, so she didn't press the issue. Instead Renhai just asked. "So have you been having any physical issues lately. And don't try that macho klingon crap with me, it won't work."

Ajal raised an eyebrow. "Mostly just muscle aches and pains.." she paused. "Macho crap?" she inquired. "I have no need to sound like someone who it emotionally stunted and has little self control." she paused. "Besides... My species has many flaws and asserting strength when none is required is one my species must grow out of... the sooner, the better... However... I do not believe I am the one to teach them... They will not listen to me."

Renhai gave off a small smile," Well, if it weren't for your appearance, I would have thought that the other guy would have been a Klingon and you a Caitian."

"I have cause to dislike him Doctor..." she paused, unsure of she should share it. "I'd best get going, thank you for your care Doctor." and with that Savannah Yamaguchi turned and departed sickbay.

Ajal decided to go all in. "He... violated my mate... Because he could... I could not stop him because... I was too weak and he would not have respected my challenge."

Renhai shrugged," Well i can tell you this much, He wont get away with that shit here, neither the captain, XO, or Security Chief will tolerate that crap. He steps out of line, he will be off this ship quick, and we will make him walk back to the klingon empire. And he might be lucky enough to get a spacesuit if we are feeling generous."

Ajal perked up instantly. "I like you Doctor." she admitted with a smile. "I expected everyone to be threatened by me. Mostly dislike Klingons... but I am finding out that what I was told was hopelessly incorrect."

The door opened and in walked Autumn Yamaguchi. "Is he gone?"

"Yes." Ajal responded with a smile as she gently took the smaller woman's hand in her own. "He is gone."

"Good." Yamaguchi responded quietly. "Doctor... I wanted to compare notes with you for my seven cases for therapy... I wanted to recommend Ensign Helen Bernstein for your evaluation before I interview her a second time." as she handed the Akurian a PADD with all of the relevant details on it. "She looks like she's suffering from a case of PTSD but I can't find a single thing wrong with her.."

Renhai took the padd," Alright I'll look it over when I get the time."

Meanwhile Bernadette quickly found the problem caitian, whom was in the secondary sickbay. "You, come here, now."

The Caitian sighed, as he gingerly touched his damaged and sore nose. "What human?" he responded. "I go to sickbay to check in and I get my face handed to me by a Klingon... she's the one out of control... as she always was."

Bernadette could tell the Caitian was trying to bullshit her. "Uh , huh, yeah sure, don't play bullshit with me, I know full well that you provoked it, so I am only going to say this only once. While your assigned to my department, I expect you to be professional while on duty, and you will be polite and respectful. This is a federation ship, and you will act accordingly. If not, you will be gone before the week is over, is that understood."

"Yes sir." R'Merah responded quietly in a sullen tone.
