Location: Various Locations - Starbase 12
Timeline: 0900Hrs - October 2nd, 2391

Fleet Admiral April Yamaguchi regarded the beings before her, one of them was more massive then she herself was and the other was smaller then her niece a year ago. "Thank you both for coming, I wanted to update you on your mission... apparently Starfleet is concerned that you don't have enough personel to handle the Task Force so they are assigning you a small Task force staff... most of them will be based on the one ship... I leave that choice to you two... Captain Davijaan "Oddball" Yeager has been assigned as your Task Force Strategic Operations Officer... so he'll handle... whatever you give him... he used to command the USS Miranda so give him something important to do... and you're also being assigned Division Admiral Talon Hunt."

"Yamaguchi." The second woman in the room spoke up. Talon stood next to her older sibling and it was easy to see how they were related, she said her name softly but there was no mistaking her dislike for the name 'Hunt'.

"Right." April paused as if she had forgotten something. "Will you be bring the kids?."

"Yes." Talon responded. "Considering their father.... wants nothing to do with them... I'll handle it myself which... is what I have been doing... except now its official.." she regarded Zara Tane and the massive being she didn't know. "Its also not relevant to the subject at hand... Starfleet feels I need an assignment to cool my heels as the USS Fall of Berlin isn't going to be ready for another few months and they got nowhere to put me." the shorter Yamaguchi explained.

"Questions?" The taller Yamaguchi inquired.

"Uh... Yeah. What the hell is going on?" Zara asked with true confusion. "Seems awfully suspicious to have two brass in one group."

April nodded her head. "I had that same thought but apparently since Talon's ship won't be available for another couple of months, there isn't anywhere to put her... So... She's been assigned to you.. you are in command of the battlegroup and Talon is just present as a mission specialist. Ignore the rank issue.."

Talon spoke up. "You won't make me wear the uniform... would you?"

"Well I don't fancy seeing you naked on the bridge," Zara remarked dryly.

April smiled as Talon tried not to laugh but she failed. "Well... I was going to wear civilian clothing.. Jake did the same thing as I recall..."

Zuko sighed adding, "are we ever not going to have an admiral in the battlegroup. We just got rid of one, now your giving us another."

Talon opened her mouth then she closed it again. "No. I want you to get her to take off her uniform and bond with her babies." April explained. "and get her out of my hair..."

"I am standing right here you know."

"Good." she turned back to Zuko and Zara. "Talon is not being assigned in any official capacity... I just want her to have some time off... Before I murder her."

"Again... with the death threats woman... I am standing here... can you not see me?"

"No." April didn't even hesitate. "Find her something unimportant to do until the Fall of Berlin is ready.."

"I could take her clubbing," Zara offered. "Techno night at the Green Dragon and all that."

"I'll leave the details to you three to sort out..." April responded as she looked at Talon. "Why are you still here?"

"Because you've not dismissed me yet."

"Unbelievable." April responded. "So now you decide to obey the rules... Talon... you are really something else, you know that."

"Good... Someone has to-"

"Get out woman.." April interrupted bluntly. "Before I have Zuko here take you out and beat you."

Talon turned and departed in silence as April sighed angrily. "Has Torilla reported in yet?" she inquired. "Assign Numbnuts to her... tell Torilla to... Oh I don't know... have her get Talon to sharpen pencils or make rubber erasors or... something.. just get her out of my hair... Please?"

Zuko opened his mouth to say something, promptly forgot what he was going to say, then closed it again, not sure what do do in this situation.

"All right... But I'm dating someone now. So I ain't bedding her for your benefit," Zara agreed as she teased April.

April reacted with confusion in her delicate eyes. "Bed her..?" she paused. "I would not ask you to bed her... because Talon is newly divorced... she needs stability and not a casual fling." she responded quietly. "No... its her children I worry about... but with Torilla and her children around.... I think that would be covered."

"So is that all you wanted to tell me?" Zara asked as she looked to the rest of the people in the room.

"Well... your refits are going according to plan... or so I'm told." April responded. "Zuko?" she inquired of the massive being who was standing before her.

"Yeah, its going," Zuko responded, then left the room.

"Alright... Dismissed." April said, ending the meeting.
