Mission: Mission 42: A House Divided
Location: Various Locations - USS Dreamcrusher
Timeline: 0800Hrs - September 3rd, 2391

Celeste Yamaguchi was technically on leave as she was processing recent events, she knew that her attacker was slain, it was a right mess or so she had been told. Now she was sitting at the kitchen table lost in thought.

"Mom.?" Pava inquired as she regarded Celeste with a measure of trepidation. "You with us?"

"What?" Celeste started. "I umm..umm... I was.."

"Its okay." Pasha smiled. "It'll be alright.. It's just us and Brianna.." he indicated the second human woman who was eating breakfast with them when the door beeped.

Pava smiled. "I'll get it." she rose to her feet as she went over.

Yamaguchi lifted her drink to her lips. "I was so careless..." she whimpered softly.

"No you were a victim." Brianna replied. "Responsibility lies only with one person. Not you."

Celeste sighed softly. "Still... he came after me..." she sighed as she closed her eyes. "Dammit... he came after me... to get to you." she placed her glass down on the table. "I wanna tear his face off of his head..." yet her hands shook. "I hate him... so much..."

Pava got the door. "Hey Jake!" as she greeted the Admiral with a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. Jake smiled. "Hey Pava... is this a good time.?"

"Well everyone is awake is thats what you mean.. So... yes this is a good time. please come in." Pava stepped back and out of the way, allowed Jake entry.

"Thanks Sweetie." Jake Yamaguchi smiled. "Hey Cel." he addressed his cousin. "How ya feeling?." before he addressed Hobbs. "Hello Colonel. I'm sorry we must meet at a time like this." he apologized to Hobbs.

"Hello Admiral." Brianna replied. "The circumstances cannot be helped. Glad you are here though."

"I am too." as Celeste stood up to greet her cousin. "Hey Celeste.." as Jake gently hugged her. "Its gonna be okay. You got us all around here."

Celeste nodded her head in a rather jerky fashion. "Yeah.."

"We got the guy... don't worry, he will never come after you ever again.." he indicated Hobbs. "You got Ms Indiscriminate Badass here."

"Did you read the report?" Hobbs asked him with a smile. "I almost got killed."

"I did actually." Yamaguchi responded. "I read the after action from everyone involved." he let out a soft sigh. "we lost nine guys to that piece of shit.... excuse me." he sighed a second time. "But Celeste, if you need to talk... or shout at... let me know okay?" he regarded her. "I need to go yell at Colonel Nye.. I am so looking forward to this... but you didn't hear that from me."

"Please shoot him if he gets out of line." Hobbs told him.

Jake smiled. "Alright then... Consider it done... Well I'm gonna get out of here and leave you guys to finish breakfast."

"Sure Jake. I will." Celeste responded with a soft smile. "Thanks for dropping by.."

"Of course." and with that he took his leave. Celeste looked back at Hobbs. "That guy .... is fucking pissed." she then slowly smiled.

"Nothing like putting the entire fleet on lockdown to look for one criminal." Hobbs told Celeste. "And even then, he almost got away."

"I read the report while you were asleep earlier, they trained my Doctors and nurses well." Celeste responded. "I have this sinking feeling that no more Klingons are going to get into starfleet in light of this event.." she admitted.

"Is that because no Klingons are going to want to join or that Star Fleet is going to refuse any of them to be admitted?'" Brianna asked.

"If it happens... it'll be the latter.." Celeste said quietly. "I was his prey... he used me to get to you." as she regarded Hobbs. "I don't even remember what happened... or what he did to me...." she admitted like she was confessing some great secret.

"No one is asking you to remember." Bri smiled at Celeste. "Nobody deserves to suffer the way you did."

Celeste regarded Hobbs. "Its like that question we got asked in our last class of temporal logic at the academy.... If I'd known how my day would go, would I have done anything different." as she took a bite from a slice of toast. "I'm forced to answer no." before she slowly smiled at Brianna. "We'll have other nights out..." as she paused. "I will not let him win because of what he did to me."

Brianna smiled at Celeste but said nothing as Celeste had said everything.
