Mission: Mission 42: A House Divided
Location: Various Locations - USS Argonne
Timeline: 0900Hrs - September 3rd, 2391

Rear Admiral Jake Yamaguchi had just got done visiting his cousin who was now at home as he moved onto his next order of business. He now was waiting at the USS Argonne's airlock for Fleet Captain Zuko as the two of them had a matter to deal with. "Zuko." he greeted the massive being when he arrived. "You ready for this?"

Zuko nodded, "Yeah, I never did get why a marine somehow got command of a federation starship anyway."

"Who knows.. who cares.. I'm here to cure that part of the problem, the rest is yours." as Jake smiled before he walked in and through the airlock. "Permission to come aboard?"

"Granted, Welcome aboard Admiral." one of the Ensigns responded.. "I'll let the Colonel know-"

"Please don't.. I like to see the man in his native ground... we'll surprise him."

"Err... Yessir." the Private responded as Jake queried the computer. "Locate Colonel Lucas Nye."

"The colonel is located in his ready room."

"Excellent. Lets go." he said to Zuko.

Zuko nodded, looking at the casualty report. " damn, we lost nine good people to this worthless piece of shit last night, I wonder who the fuckhead was that let this jackass into starfleet."

"I'm going to find out." Jake responded with a smile. "It'll give me something to think about other then worrying about Celeste." Jake added.

The two entered a turbolift. "Bridge."

Zuko didn't say anything else as they arrived on the bridge. Without saying a word, Zuko marched over to the ready room door, and ignoring the door chime, he simply resorted to pounding his fist on the door.

Jake smiled to himself as he simply took one step back, giving the massive being before him space to work, also rather then stop him he decided to simply sit back and watch.

Before the door fully opened Snee started to scream. "Are you too stupid to use a door chime?" He yelled but stopped after looking up at Zuko.

Zuko gave Snee an evil look, "Excuse me little man, have you lost your bearing, you are addressing a senior officer. Or should i just skip the formalities and have you put in the starbase brig for insubordination."

Snee took a few steps back. He then turned around and hide behind Nye.

Nye looked up from his desk. "Hello gentlemen. How can I help you?" he asked in a polite voice.

Jake spoke up. "You can't... but he can." he indicated Commander Erasmus Sorvok. "Commander. I hereby promote you to the rank of Captain and command of this vessel with all the yadda yadda yadda." he commented before he handed a small black box to the Vulcan. "I am correcting an issue that should not have been permitted to exist." Jake added before he turned to Zuko. "Zuko. Its all yours."

Zuko dropped a padd containing the report on Ro'Cholk on Nye's desk. "Your klingon buddy, Major Ro'Cholk, last night he went on a little rampage, raped Commander Celeste Yamaguchi, and then killed nine Starfleet personnel. I'd like to know how the hell someone like that got in the marines, surely you must have known the guy was unfit for service."

"He wasn't my buddy." Nye told Zuko. "I went over his service file but much of that was blocked by Star Fleet Intelligence. I thought that maybe he was involved with black operations. It didn't cross my mind that he might be that kind of liability. But if you want to know who recommended him for the position, talk to Nechayev. It was her idea." Nye said but didn't sound that convincing.

Zuko could pick up the subtle tones in Nye's voice that told him Nye wasn't being fully truthful on the matter, but without further evidence, he decided not to press the issue, so he added," Also I am hearing other reports about your vessel as well. Something about a Lt. Udloi Korgnov abusing anyone whom comes in the brig, and things about you telling security to deliberately rough people up. All of which lead me to question your ability to lead. To be honest, I don't know what Nechayev saw in you, nor do I care, because from this point forward, your only command, is over the marines in this starship, you will no longer have command of the vessel itself, or the starfleet or fighter corps personnel unless required by an operation. Not only that, but the new regulations from the military reorganization act are out."

Zuko pulled up the regulation in question and showed it to Nye," Neither marine or Fighter corps officers are to command starfleet vessels for any reason unless in an emergency. So you have a problem with someone in starfleet, you go to either Captain Sorvok or myself, or Commodore Tane, you don't deal with it yourself. Have a problem with fighter corps personnel, you go to Flight Commander Aleksei Segeyev or Captain Commander Phoenix Sullivan, you don't handle it yourself. The only time you will command Starfleet or Fighter Corps personnel is if they are supporting your marines in a ground operation. Otherwise, when it comes to this ship, you are a passenger, like every other marine, you are not its CO. Marines are not trained to captain starships, you are no different. you have a problem with this, take it up with Lieutenant General Alan Masters, though keep in mind, he signed the order."

Zuko then addressed the computer," Computer, transfer main command codes from Colonel Nye to Captain Sorvok."

The computer responded with," Affirmative."

Zuko then looked back at Nye," Oh, and by the way, this ready room, is for the captain of the ship, which is not you, so grab your shit and get out, it belongs to Captain Sorvok now."

Zuko didn't even bother to give Nye the time to respond before he walked out of the ready room. He only briefly stopped to say to Sorvok," If Nye gives you any problems, contact Corps General Alan Masters, he will be happy to sort Nye out for you."

Jake smiled, to him this was a good outcome and he was happy with it.
