Mission: Mission 41: The Changing of the Guard
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1700Hrs - August 15th, 2391

Teval, Zuko, and Tom Lasky walked back into Roanokes ready room, with Jake Yamaguchi already present.

Zuko sat down in one of the chairs, "Sorry we are a bit late, we got held up on the Argonne."

Jake Yamaguchi peeled open one eye. "Mmm... So... what are you late for?" as he slowly sat forward. "The rest of the refits to the battlegroup are starting... whats going on with this one ship thats holding you up?"

Teval sighed loudly while Zuko replied," Yeah, apparently for some reason, there is a Colonel Nye whom is proclaiming himself as being the commanding officer of the Argonne, which I am pretty sure starfleet regulations state that only a starfleet officer can command a starship. And oh yeah, this guy is an asshole."

"Colonel Nye is commanding a Starfleet ship.." Jake paused. "Since when... do Marines command Starfleet ships?" he paused. "Zuko. I'm promoting you to the rank of Fleet Captain and the acting command of this battlegroup. That includes the Argonne and this.... Colonel Nye." Jake reached over with a single black pip in his hand. "I wish this promotion had come to you the real and proper way.... I apologize for that as you deserve better then to replace someone else." Jake paused. "Do I need to go and pay this guy a visit?"

Teval shook his head," Honestly I'm not sure what good it would do, this guy is claiming he is in command on orders of Nechayev."

Zuko looked up at the ceiling in frustration,"I hope Lt. Gyce gets done with her investigation soon and we can find some dirt on Nechayev and get her ass sacked already."

"Patience my good man..." Yamaguchi responded. "No... IFO is under MY Command... that covers the Argonne and... this Colonel.." he muttered softly. "Not Nechayev." there was something evil in Jake's tone. "I'm getting mighty sick of her antics..."

Teval shrugged, "Well either way, he believes Argonne is his to command, not commander Sorvok's. Also the scuttlebutt that we have heard of this guy is not good."

"Mmm... Okay.. what do you have?" he paused as he settled in to listen.

Teval looked at his padd, then gave it to Jake, "See for yourself, this is what Duval showed us. Apparently he abuses people under his command a lot and Nechayev oh so kindly brushes it under the rug for him."

Yamaguchi accepted the PADD as he gave it the once over, then he stopped, he went back to the beginning as he read it again very carefully then he read it a second time. "If even one of these is indeed fact... then this guy is a criminal... and I'm going to see to it he is sent to a black rock with no name for the rest of his life."

Unfortunately as long as he continues to be Nechayev's pet, there is little we can do to get him kicked out," Zuko added. " If we want to get rid of this guy, Nechayev has to go first."

"I know.." Jake responded. "Build me a case that I can use against her.." he sighed softly. "She seriously outranks me... so if I'm going to bring a case.. it needs to be airtight to a degree that nobody can pick it apart.." he turned to Teval. "Have your intel guys work on it quietly." he paused. "when this comes out... I want to crush her under the weight of it." then a sudden evil smile appeared. "I want to be able to put her to the sword... and enjoy myself while I do it.."
