Mission: Mission 37: The Troubles and Tribbles
Location: Various Locations - USS Dreamcrusher
Timeline: 1300Hrs - July 21st 2391

Ensign Elizabeth Yamaguchi was lying on her sofa as she gazed at the small bump that was starting to appear around her midsection. "I feel fat."

"Meow" Shadow replied as she blinked her large golden eyes at her companion as she stood up from where she had been sleeping only moments earlier before she stretched as Elizabeth smiled before she ran her fingers gently over the top of the cats head.

Shadow lifted her head as she began purring at the human who had become her companion when her door beeped at them.

Elizabeth gently picked herself up off of the sofa. "Its Open!" she called loudly. Most days now it was a fight just to get off the sofa or to get out of bed but she was almost an invalid because her knee issues.

The door opened and in walked Commander Celeste Yamaguchi. She was wearing an identical medical smock over the top of her uniform, something Elizabeth herself often wore. "Hey Elizabeth... I came to check on my favorite patient."

"Mmm... I'll bet." Elizabeth grinned at her cousin. ""Hows Brianna doing?"

"How do you know about that?"

"I didn't... you just told me."

Celeste sighed softly. "Its still in the polite stages."

Elizabeth raised an eyebrow as she regarded the shorter woman. "You still think like its nineteen ninety one and not twenty three ninety one."
Shadow who turned her head to regard the new arrival simply blinked her eyes slowly.

Comet meanwhile stood up to stretch his legs as he yawned loudly while the door opened a second time as Kameron Yamaguchi entered. "Oh Hello Doctor.."

Celeste nodded to him as she produced her tricorder. "Mr Yamaguchi." she addressed him with a smile. "Hows things?"

"Well... the tribbles have finally hit critical mass in terms of numbers or so I hear.." he admitted. "What am I interrupting?"

"Just Celeste here poking me and prodding me."

Kameron chuckled softly as he gently liberated Shadow as he gently picked her up, the cat protested as he did so. "Then... i'll feed these guys and let you two... have fun." and with that he retreated at Elizabeth threw a pillow in his general direction.

"What was that for?" Celeste inquired.

"He is a guy... thinking about sex... all the time."

"Well... as soon as I finish. you're coming with me to the Lounge... Kameron is too so you can go for a walk...It'll be good for you."

"Yes mom." Elizabeth responded.

"Alright... grab your shoes and we'll be off... Mister Walking Hormone, your presence is requested in the main sitting area."

Kameron regarded his wife's cousin. "Mister Walking What?" he inquired.

"Did I stutter?" Celeste inquired. "You're coming out for dinner...and I'm buying."

Kameron raised an eyebrow as he thought. 'This woman seriously needs to get laid.'

Elizabeth smiled but she didn't say anything. "Hows Comet and Avalanche?"

"They're good.." Kameron responded as he went over to his wife.

Ten minutes or so later the three of them were in the lounge as Elizabeth regarded her cousin. "Why are we here again.?"

"Because I don't feel like eating dinner alone."

Elizabeth looked around as she spotted Wukari who was just entering the lounge, she lifted her hand as she waved at the pilot.

Wukari, whom had Teval and Hakaya behind her, wandered over, saying, "Hey, what are you up to."

Elizabeth looked like she didn't want to move. "We're just out having dinner... "

Celeste Yamaguchi who looked nothing like her cousin added cheerfully. "You guys wanna join us?"

Wukari shrugged, "Well its not like we have anything better to do right now."

Celeste shifted over as she moved into the corner of the booth, making space for the others, moments later a waiter came over. "Greetings... " as he delivered several menu's. "Can I get you anything to drink to start off?"

Hakaya just cuddled up with Teval, letting off a quiet purr, while Wukari decided first. After Wukari Teval just got what both he and Hakaya usually drank.

Elizabeth blinked as she looked at Kameron. "I guess I missed something.." she commented. "Hakaya never leaves her quarters.."

Teval shrugged, "We aren't on roanoke."

"Ahh... that ship has a shroud of misery cloaking her in shit." Kameron responded in a dry tone.

Elizabeth smiled as Celeste found the comment hilarious.

Teval started rubbing Hakaya's ears and she started purring contently. She then picked up Teval's tail and cuddled with it. He didn't mind, as he was used to it. Wukari looked over at them, commenting, "You two are adorable."

The waiter came back over. "Can I get you anything to drink or a starter?"

Elizabeth nodded. "I'll have two glasses of pop and a plate of fries with gravy..... for my starter."

Kameron raised an eyebrow. "I'll have that too please."

Celeste smiled. "Me three please. Afterall... if I'm going to do it, I might as well do it right."

Wukari asked for a glass of milk while Teval and Hakaya just asked for water. Teval looked over at Elizabeth, saying, "I cannot figure out why you guys would actually like pop."

"Its one of my vices.... I try not to drink it too much.."

Teval shrugged, then commented," You know, I'm starting to like Dreamcrusher. Its nice, quiet and peaceful over here. No stupid shit going on, no one trying to kill each other. no raging drunks everywhere."

Elizabeth smiled. "Tell me about it... I'm considering sticking in for reassignment to this ship or back to Tranquility."

"Roanoke isn't worth it to my career." Kameron added. "I'm considering sticking in for reassignment out of flying and going back to the conn.. maybe the skipper here will let me drive this ship.."

Celeste Yamaguchi regarded Elizabeth. "If you do stick in a request... I can always use you in my sickbay.."

Teval looked up at the ceiling," Well I heard Telios Wintersnow is going to be moving off to her own command, maybe I can take over as Dreamcrusher's XO. He then looked over at the others across the table, saying, "I'm guessing you guys know about the military reorganization act that will be happening soon."

Celeste nodded. "I keep hearing about it." she explained. "What about you guys..?"

"It'll be a nice change." Elizabeth admitted. "I think the new uniforms will look good on me."

Zuko walked over, looking at Teval and Hakaya cuddled up together, prompting him to say," There is not much out there that is cuter than Kurokuri, you two look adorable."

Teval looked up at the large Ankuri," Well, not much I can say about that."

Celeste indicated a chair nearby. "Pull up a chair and drop anchor skipper." she smiled cheerfully.

Zuko sat down in the chair, he was a little big for it, but he was used to that. "Starfleet chairs are never the right size for me."

"Tell me about it," Teval commented, his own footpaws never reaching the floor with starfleet seats.

Elizabeth smiled. "Don't worry. I know exactly how you guys feel on the matter... a little big for me too." she responded as the food the people ordered all began arriving, Elizabeth got stuck into the food right away. "Mmmm... this is good."

Celeste chuckled softly as she began helping herself to the fries. "I wonder if the uniforms will make me look fat."

Kameron regarded the older woman. "Assume they will and plan accordingly."

Hakaya replied flatly," Glad I have fur and don't ever have to worry about uniforms."

Wukari, Zuko and Teval all simultaneously nodded, with Zuko being the one commenting, "Yep, being furry has its advantages."

Elizabeth chuckled softly as she continued helping herself to the fries.
"Stilll being pregnant isn't too bad.." she admitted. "I get to eat more... I get weird cravings..."

"Your little one is doing well?" Celeste asked.

"It is, yes.... I don't know the gender yet."
