Siaxx Dvald was taking a moment to look at the collection of arrows she had finished making as she had Rachael's child with her, helping to make the arrows as well as a few bows in case something happened to their stockpile but she was worried about Greywolf, she had not seen much of him recently.

The small Bolian looked out over the sunset as she knew her work was more or less finished for the day, it would soon be too dark for her or anyone else to work.

Siaxx knew Greywolf was very old but she knew he could take care of himself, when she suddenly spotted him coming towards her, laden down with equipment and supplies, on his companion, Halftalon.

Siaxx rose to her feet. "Rachael...?" she called loudly.

Rachael emerged from the cave a moment later as she came over. "I'm here." she commented as she too spotted Halftalon. "UhOh." she turned as she spotted Teval nearby.

Teval and Karryn both heard Rachael's comment, prompting Teval to come over, asking, "What is it."

"Blue Moon," he grunted in his language, when he very laboredly sat a flat of skins down. It was almost instantly that he as well, plopped beside of it.

Siaxx gently helped make him comfortable. "Easy Greywolf." she whispered back to him in his language. "It'll be okay..." she noticed his breathing was very shallow. "You'll be alright..." she paused as she could see that he was anything but alright.

"Young cub," Greywolf moaned at her in his language. A toothy grin formed, despite his fading lifeforce. "Smart cub... Proud of you."

"Stay with me..." Siaxx almost pleaded with him in his language. "It'll be alright..." she was close to tears by this point as she knew he was dying, if not of some bug then it was sheer old age, she also knew that he was several times her age.

Rachael knew this would end badly and it would be quick but she kept a respectful distance from Siaxx.

Siaxx looked down at her hand as he gently slipped her something. "Whats this for?" she asked in his language.

"My pack," Greywolf answered, his big blue eyes fighting hard to remain open. "Find them."

"I will... you have my word..... no matter what it takes...I will find them..." Siaxx responded in his language, her pronunciation was now flawless. "Stay with me... just a moment more..." the small Bolian gently held his massive frame in her arms. "It'll be okay...... don't go..." she whimpered.

"You are pack now."

Siaxx smiled as she wiped at her face. "Same as you're pack to me.." she responded softly. "It'll be alright..." she whimpered.

"I'm not dying yet," Greywolf urged weakly in his native tongue. "But I want to spend what star nights remain with my cub."

Siaxx's knew he wasn't being upfront with her about it but she would accept it for as long as it took. "That sounds good.." she responded. "I did make you some accommodations, right next to mine."

Greywolf pointed to the Kurokuri. "They do not mind?" he asked in his tongue.

"No. They are concerned about you." Siaxx answered.

Greywolf nodded weakly, then rubbed his cheek against Siaxx's in a loving manner before he nested on the palette.

Siaxx curled up next to him as she regarded him. "I'm right here..." she said in his language, they were inside the cave and generally safe from prying animals.

Nuyari, meanwhile, approached to two curiously, letting out a small purr.

Greywolf's blue eyes opened when he heard the kitten approach. He sniffed the air out of habit and then pat the ground beside him with his massive paw. Inviting the little one to curl up with him if it liked.

Siaxx opened one eye as she spotted the small Kurokuri, she mumbled something before she sighed softly.

Nuyari looked at the to curiously, but didn't approach too closely, preferring to keep her distance from the massive canine.

Siaxx noticed that Greywolf was asleep, his breathing seemed to be regular is somewhat thready and shallow, before she slipped off to sleep next to him.

The next morning, she woke up with a start before turning her attention to Greywolf, to her horror and shock she discovered that he was dead, he'd died in the night but all of this was irrelevant as the small Bolian burst into tears, her friend was gone and she was alone.
