Mission: Mission 29: Songs Around the Campfire
Location: Planet Surface - Yeneer G1
Timeline: 0810Hrs - February 25th, 2391 - Time Dilation: 19 Months, 2 Weeks

Wasting no Time, Hakaya picked up her meal with her bare hands and immediately started ripping into the big chunk of meat that was breakfast, prompting Teval to say," Damn Hakaya, you have been eating a lot lately, whats with you."

He then noticed her stomach had a slight bulge that he didn't see before, "You know, your starting to gain a little weight there."

"It wont stay for long," Hakaya commented between bites.

Rachael was half asleep as she was slowly eating her food, her infant in he other arm. "Aww... " she smiled

Siaxx too had noticed. "Hakaya.... you have something you wish to tell us.... me thinks?"

Hakaya gave Siaxx an innocent look, having finished her breakfast," Um, Naw, not really."

Siaxx and Rachael shared a look. "Hakaya... are you pregnant?" Rachael asked.

Teval heard the conversation and gave his sister a look, while Hakaya replied nervously," Um, possibly."

Rachael simply smiled. "I think every woman here is having babies except you Siaxx.."

"Yeah... tell me about it."

Teval just facepalmed, while Hakaya said," What, we are doing far better on our hunts now, I figured now was as good of time as any."

Teval sighed, saying," And how do you propose that we fit all of them in our quarters whenever we do get back to the roanoke."

Hakaya shrugged it off," Oh, details details."

Rachael meanwhile was breastfeeding her infant in silence as she watched and listened to the conversation. "You could request new quarters.."

Hakaya then looked at Siaxx saying," So you still have a working tricorder, I wonder how many I have."

"Greywolf taught me how to charge up my equipment." Siaxx responded. "I'm working on expanding it... since I can only charge one item at a time."

Hakaya shrugged," Well, might as well use it to give me a checkup then."

"Alright... come on over here ... and I will." Siaxx responded as she tapped her tricorder with a fingernail.

Hakaya moved quietly over to Siaxx, but didn't say anything while Siaxx scanned her.

"Yep..." Siaxx commented. "you are indeed... pregnant.. with two Kurokuri. " she explained. "your also a month along."

Hakaya nodded, while Teval just gave her a look," Well at least its only two."

"Something I should know?" Siaxx inquired, catching the look between Teval and Hakaya.

Neither sibling said anything to Siaxx, when Aerin made the comment," I still cant figure out as to why I agreed to this."

Siaxx sighed softly as she shook her head. "In any case.. your pregnancy is healthy for one of your species...." she commented before closing her tricorder. "I'll be back to check in on you in two weeks time..." she paused. "I'm going to step outside... and leave you guys... to it."

As soon as Siaxx left, Teval had to ask," You know Hakaya, this is rash, even for you."

Hakaya gave her brother a glare," Well, it was now or I had to wait an almost another 8 years."

Teval facepalmed, saying, "Oh for crying out loud, its not like our species ages or anything like that, you had all the time in the universe."

Hakaya got progressively more annoyed," Well, it was my decision, Id rather it be here than on Roanoke."

Teval opened his mouth, then closed it again, knowing better not to press the situation. So he just sighed, calming himself, then said," Well, whats done is done, we're stuck with it now."
