More Kittens

Mission: Mission 28: Those who Remain
Location: Planet Surface - Yeneer G1
Timeline: 0930Hrs - February 25th, 2391 - Time Dilation: 20 Months

Teval looked over at Hakaya, who had a very visible bulge now, He figured it was about time, though he still was having issues processing it. Kurokuri just went through their pregnancies too fast. She hadn't been participating in the last few weeks of hunts, and it felt strange not having her around for them.

Lt Commander Siaxx Dvald came over. "Hey guys.." she paused. "Hakaya, how ya feeling today?"

Hakaya clutched her stomach," Like crap."

Teval sighed," It is about that time."

"Alright.." Siaxx responded. "Lets get you set up..."

Hakaya nodded and followed Siaxx, with Teval close behind her. Though he didn't get far before being distracted by Savo, whom gently grabbed his tail and cooed at him. Though she was a bit too big to pick up now, Teval merely pulled his daughter close to him and cuddled with her, while Hakaya simply laid down and curled up in the padded area that Rachael had used to deliver Saki over a year ago. Teval then went over and rubbed Hakaya's ears, whom purred lightly in response."

Siaxx went with her. "Okay... you situated?" she inquired. "I have no medication at all..." she sighed. "I'm back in the stone age... quite literally."

Karryn came over, saying," Well shouldn't have to much issue with it, i never took any and i was back on my feet instantly, giving birth is not as straining for kurokuri."

Hakaya gave her a look, saying," If this is how kurokuri feel on the matter, then I don't want to imagine how bad it must be for most humanoid species."

Siaxx raised an eyebrow. "Considering Rachael went through it last year.... it does things to one's insides."

Hakaya gave her a look," Well obviously." She was about to say something else but a rather sharp pain interrupted her, as she instinctively clutched her stomach," OWW, that hurt, what was that."

"That... was a contraction." Siaxx explained. "Take deep breathes... "
the small Bolian added.

Hakaya gave off an annoyed growl when she noticed Karryn smiling at her, then Karryn commented," Whats the matter Hakaya, cant handle a little pain."

"I'm gonna claw your throat out after this," Hakaya growled, then winced in pain again, causing her to say," O.k, that one felt different, what the hell was that."

"Keep breathing... you're almost fully dilated.." she paused as she waited for the last major contraction. "This is going to hurt... a lot."

Teval made an attempt to give his sister some breathing room, but quickly found out he wasn't going anywhere when Hakaya suddenly latched onto his tail, causing him to yelp in pain. He looked over at his sister, saying "Hakaya, that hurts, can you let go of my tail please."

Hakaya gave Teval a nasty glare without letting go, saying," How do you think I feel ass." She then pointed at Karryn saying," You, you said this wouldn't be so bad."

Karryn shrugged innocently," Well, I said it wasn't as painful as humans, I said nothing about the process being painless. Don't worry it will be over soon you wimp."

Hakaya, in between winces, said," Teval, kill her, kill her now, before I do."

Teval put his hands up innocently," I have no part in this."

Siaxx sighed as she ignored everyone except her patient. "Push Hakaya.... Push!"

Hakaya no longer bothered with arguing with anyone, instead pushing as hard as she could. Within a minute Teval heard the soft mewing of a new born kitten, while Teval kept a curious Savo from getting too close.

"One down... one to go." Siaxx commented. "You're doing great..."

Teval, once again, somehow found himself holding yet another newborn kitten, while Hakaya gave another loud groan and he heard he soft mewing of the second one.

Siaxx had kept this space in the cave clean and relatively free of issues, located in here was a large crate with several towels as she retrieved two of those towels, as she then wrapped up the two Kurokuri before handing them off to their mother.

Hakaya finally let Teval's tail go, as she accepted the two newborns, prompting Taval to say," how you feeling."

Hakaya gave him a thumbs up," I'm good, man i feel so much better now, like a ton of bricks has been lifted off my shoulders."

Within a few minutes Hakaya was back on her feet again, and cuddled her two newborn kittens, while Savo looked at them curiously.

Siaxx raised an eyebrow as she simply cleaned off her items and she rose to her feet. "Alright... I'll leave you guys to it." she looked around at the collection of Kurokuri and she took her leave.
