Shit Hits the Fan - Part One

Mission: Mission 17: The Drug-Dimmed Tide
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 0800Hrs - December 15th, 2390

Teval walked onto the bridge to relieve toe current watch officer, and he began his initial tacks as Acting XO. First thing he did though was going to the Engineering officer, whom is normally stationed on the bridge, and asked for a status report."How is the engines."

Alyssa looked at the console and reported," Engines will be operational momentarily. We have also managed to collect a lot of deuterium from the nebula, to replace the deuterium that some idiot decided to dump when stoned."

"How is the comm array," Teval asked.

Alysa replied promptly," Its back up and running, but the Nebula is still blocking the signal."

"Very well," Teval then moved back to the command chair, when he noticed the ships Master Chief, Orthos walk in.

Orthos walked onto the bridge. "Hey Teval.." he greeted the other being. "Whats going on?"

Teval responded with," well the warp drive will be up very soon, but when its up, we will have to have a little chat with Captain Olmos when we get out."

"Lovely." Orthos commented as he sat down in the Exec's chair. "When do we talk to her?" he inquired.

"When we get out of the Nebula," Teval replied apprehensively. He then went to go check on Zara, and pressed the door chime to the ready room.

Zara was found in her ready room, dropping PADDs right and left. And on top of that, her pants were buttoned in the wrong order and some holes missed completely at the fly, to the point she walked funny.

Well... everything about the way Zara moved pointed to some sort of dexterity issue. Not to mention her blond, medium length hair looked very close to Ra'Vak's fro. Not being able to brush her hair properly, Tane also never noticed her comb was still stuck and sticking out in the back.

Teval walked in and immediately noticed the comb stuck in her hair. He saw Zara moving about so clumsily, at this point he could only feel bad for her. So Teval walked over and plucked the comb out of her hair, saying," Damn Zara, you really are a mess today."

"Ooold are-ther have crotch itch," Zara sighed with a numbed lisp as she was bent over, trying to pick up a PADD. Her fingers kept losing their grip and the PADD would keep falling.

Teval sighed and added, "Alright, Well, we are about to leave the Nebula, so when Captain Olmos comes aboard I'll talk to her." Teval then left the ready room and went back to the bridge.

"Hey Alyssa, are the engines good."

Alyssa replied, "Yeah warp drive is ready."

Teval then went to ensign James Munroe, whom was at the helm, "Alright James, take us out of the nebula, warp 4."

Teval half expected to see an engine nacelle to rip off and fly forward when the warp drive was activated, but fortunately that didn't happen. So he took a seat at the command chair and waited.

Orthos sat down in the Exec's chair as he made himself comfortable.
"How long before we leave the nebula?"

"Two minutes sir."

Orthos hated being called sir but he left it alone.

Teval waited as the ship started leaving the Nebula and then he said, "Hey Moni, tell me when you spot the Tranquility."

Nasao nodded her head. "Yes Keptin." she mewled, she paused. "I have her sir... heading Two two one. Mark six five."

One of the Ensigns commented. "sir they are powering weapons... they are going to attack.."

Orthos turned his head. "Ensign focus on your console or I will personally throw you off this bridge and find someone who can."

The though crossed Teval's head,' These idiots don't stand a chance against us,' but he decided not to take any provocative stances. So all he commanded was, "Alright, hail them, we know this is coming."

Nasao nodded. "Channel Open sir." she commented

The comm channel opened, and Teval saw the captain of the Tranquility Lil'yanna Olmos.

"This is Captain Lil'yanna Olmos of the starship Tranquility. By order of Starfleet Medical, you are ordered to comply with a medical hazard inspection. To whom is currently in charge of the Roanoke."

"That would be me," Teval answered simply.

"I am beaming down in five minutes with a hazmat team. I expect many answers to my questions, Commander," Olmos began. The phasers on her ship powered down immediately after. "I also expect a fully detailed explanation for why Captain Tane is not present for the second time I've hailed this ship. Olmos out."

Teval looked at Orthos saying," Oh we are so fucked."

Orthos merely shrugged. "I'm not worried...I can't tell her what I don't know.." he added

Teval noticed as Luhanna Wintersnow entered the bridge, and that when Teval asked," Hey Luhanna, you want to come with me to meet Captain Olmos.

"Of course." the Draenei commented

"Alright Ortho's, you got the bridge," As he and Luhanna walked out.
