Mission: Mission 15: Old Ghosts
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1415Hrs, December 7th, 2390

Hakaya, Teval, and Fives walked into the sickbay, each with one of the cats in their arms. Teval was the first to walk in, and immediately saw Siaxx. "Hi Siaxx."

Siaxx Dvald yawned, today was turning into a long and boring day as she was just finishing up her paperwork when the door opened and in came a three people, all with cats in their arms.

"To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?" she inquired. "and who are these little guys?"

Fives gently placed the cat in his arms on the biobed. "We need you to give these three a clean bill of health... we've had something of a wildlife outbreak up in the pod."

"A Wildlife outbreak?" the Bolian answered, clearly skeptically. "Indeed?"

"Well, so far we've found 3 Cats, 5 Pigeons, a sparrowhawk, a robin, a dozen rats, several hornets nests and four Cardassian voles... Oh yes.. it's an interesting day.." Fives replied in a dry tone. "The entirety or second wings birds are down with three of them being total write offs.... needless to say, life is about to get ugly... the skipper don't know yet..."

Siaxx stood, speechless before she blinked. "Okay. let me look at these guys... " she indicated the cats." Siaxx smiled as she gently received a massive cat from Teval. "Wow... this one is big..." she paused as she gently set it on the bed, where it proceeded to lie down and curl up.

She produced her tricorder as she began checking them over. "This one is pregnant," she commented with a smile.

Teval gave the pregnant feline a rub, and she purred in reply,"Ah, figured, How far along."

Siaxx smiled. "She's about a week away from giving birth to 4 kittens.." she commented. "other then that, she's in excellent health but I will need to give her her shots." she explained. "whose looking after these three?"

Teval mentioned, "Well, me and Hakaya will take this one," He motioned at the pregnant female. "But as for the male that Hakaya has, He is up for grabs. Of course the kittens will need homes when they are ready as well. How old are they though."

"I know Torilla Yamaguchi will want a couple of the kittens." she commented. "and.. if the male wants to have a good home then I'll take him home with me." Siaxx smiled as she did a quick check of all three. "The russian blue is about three years old, your silver Maine Coon-" she indicated the one that Teval was holding onto. "- is about a year old and the guy I want is about two... but they are all in good health... but I will need to give them their shots."

Teval simply nodded, and after Siaxx gave them their vaccines the door opened, and crewman Bremer, escorted by Fordring entered, though with Bremer being reluctant and complaining.

Siaxx blinked as she listrened to the new arivals whining which instantly started grating on her nerves. "I don't wanna see Dvald, she's mean..."

Siaxx cringed. "Sit the fuck down over there..." she pointed to a biobed on the other side of sickbay from her. "Guys... is there anything else you need from me?" she inquired as she gently petted the male cat she had selected for herself, the cat began purring at her as he almost smiled.

Siaxx decided to gently pick up the cat, the cat purred happily as she gently cuddled him in her arms. "Oh he's adorable.." as the cat gently touched the end of her nose with his own, clearly claiming the Bolian as his own.

Fives smiled. "Oh he likes you alright... I'd best go Kittyproof my quarters..." he commented as he gently ran his fingers through the cats fur.

Siaxx turned to the new arrival as she noticed something odd. "Whats with the odd head gear on his head..?"

Fives smiled. "The dunce cap... he dropped some grenades on the hanger deck.

Teval decided to make one last request," Hey Siaxx, when the kittens are born, do you mind coming to our quarters to do their health check's that they will need?"

"Certainly." The Bolian responded with a cheery smile. "Let me know when and where and I'll be there.."

Fordring looked down at Bremer who honestly looked like garbage. "Stop whimpering, its embarrassing you and me..." he rumbled.

"But she's not tending my wounds... I got stung in the line of duty."

Fordring growled. "Silence, impudent whelp. You got stung because you are a complete and total failure..."

Teval and Hakaya left the sickbay with their newfound companion, leaving the whining Bremer in Siaxx's care.

Siaxx regarded the kitty that was making himself comfortable on her biobed as Fives gently plucked the tabby from the bed. "So... we good to go?"

"Yeah... take care of this guy..." and with that Fives nodded. "Willdo." then he turned and departed.

Siaxx turned and went over to the crewman who was honestly driving her insane. "Crewman... what the hell happened to you."

"Hornets... I got stuck in the line of duty defending my ship and honor."

Siaxx raised an eyebrow. "Indeed.." she responded as she scanned him.

"I think I'm allergic.... it hurts..." he whimpered as Siaxx sighed. "You are not allergic, so shut up with you whining, you're worse then my god-daughter..."

It didn't take too long for Hakaya and Teval to get their quarters ready, as they replicated a litter box and cat food, which their new found friend promptly wolfed it down within minutes.

"Damn," Teval commented as the green eyed silver tabby ate," She is hungry."

"Well, she is pregnant and probably hasn't had a good meal in a couple days, except for that mostly eaten rat." Hakaya replied. This was the first cat they found, in the 11th fighter that they inspected, and other than her, all that was in there was a rat carcass. Though Abbado was glad that it wasn't another hornets nest, or a rat jumping out at him, he wasn't too thrilled about the smell or having to clean out the carcass.

"So, what do you want to call her."

Hakaya sat there and thought about it, but then the cat's fur pattern inspired her," Lets call her Silversnow."

Teval thought before responding with," Yeah, that's a good name to go with."

After finishing her food, Silversnow looked up at the siblings, and meowed loudly.

Meanwhile Fives entered his quarters as he placed his new companion on his sofa, the Kitty jumped down onto the main part of the sofa as he proceeded to curl up and he seemed to blend into the sofa which so happened to be a dusky grey.

Fives smiled. "Shadow.... I'll name you Shadow.." he commented. "Lets get you something to eat.." and with that he replicated all of what he felt he would need. a litter box, two food dishes and some steak meat, all finely diced up.
