Training Injury

Mission: Mission 15: Old Ghosts
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1100Hrs - December 3rd, 2390

Lieutenant Siaxx Dvald MD raised an eyebrow as she watched the doors open and in came the handsome Klingon woman she had seen earlier dragging her victim into the sickbay.

Daisy entered the main sickbay carrying Werner on her shoulders. She looked around for an orderly or nurse.

Siaxx blinked as she watched the Captain reach down and with no grace or gentleness, pick up the private and toss him onto a biobed.
"Whats his issue?"

Daisy looked at Bolian women and thought for a moment. "Um, yeah. Um, he got hurt during a training exercise." Daisy said, unconvincingly. She looked at the deck. "Yeah, a training exercise."

"Oh... want me to stable his ear to his kneecap?"

Daisy smiled nervously. "No, I need him back to on duty." Daisy stated.

Siaxx regarded the Klingon woman before her. "Fine... have a seat and let me sort your face out." the Bolian commented as she regarded Werner. "I think this guy was in a fight... and so were you... but i'll keep that to myself for now."

Daisy knew she was a bad liar. She decided to keep her mouth shut unless answering direct questions from Tane.

"Considering the nature of his injuries, a broken arm, several lacerations, a cracked skull and Grosst knows what else.." the sighed. "let me sort you out first.."

" I think maybe you should check out his injuries first. He might have internal bleeding. I think mine is superficial." Daisy stated in a meek voice.

"Indeed?" Siaxx looked unconvinced. "You know that the senior staff will need to be made aware of this right?" she inquired. "the Executive Officer has to be told.. regs." as she began tending to Werners wounds.

Daisy unintentionally let out a soft moan. "Is that really necessary? I don't think he'll complaint." Daisy asked almost rhetorically as she knew the answer.

"Its not for you or him... its for me." Siaxx responded. "Sorry..." she commented as she tended to his skull fracture first. "What did you hit this guy with?"

"Oh, um, his face might have unintentionally come into contact with my knee." Daisy said while starring at the deck and not making eye contact with Siaxx.

Siaxx sighed softly as she treated the massive mans's wounds as she looked to a nearby nurse. "Nurse?"

"The young man came over. "Yes Doctor?"

"Go get me a PADD please."

"Right away." and with that he went off as Siaxx turned on Daisy. "These injuries are more then a training accident, look I can understand that you don't want bad shit happening but... you need to come clean about what happened.." as the nurse returned and handed Siaxx her PADD.

Siaxx in turn handed the PADD to Daisy. "I'll need your full report on what happened.."

Daisy let out an audible whimper. She took the PADD and started writing.

"Its for security.. Lets face it.. the regs are clear so I have to insist. I'm sorry Captain but... if you two got into a scuffle then I need to know about it."

"Yes Lieutenant, I understand your position. I don't wan't you to get into any trouble." Daisy stated sincerely.

Siaxx accepted the PADD as she looked down at Werner. "I'm going to keep him for a time... for observation.. considering the nature of his injuries, two of them were very serious and a third could have killed him had I not treated it."

Daisy pursed her lips and remained silent. Siaxx was simply stating the facts.

Siaxx gently pressed a hypo to Werner neck. "Welcome back to the land of the living Private."

"Wha..." Werner groaned. His only moving was his squinting. "Am I in the brig?" he weakly asked.

"No Private. I'm the ships Chief Medical Officer, I'm not from Security." Siaxx explained.

"Everything is kinda dull." Werner slowly and quietly stated. "I'm doped up right?" he asked in an almost pathetic voice.

"Don't worry about anything right now. Your under medic care. Just get some rest." Daisy gently told him.

"I will need to keep you overnight Private because of your injuries.." she explained.

"Thank you Doctor. I'll come by and check on him tomorrow." daisy told Siaxx.

"Very well." she commented. "I will also require his medical files as they are not in the ships computer... and he'll be yours at Oh Eight Hundred Tomorrow."
